Matt and his team did a great job on our loft conversion. We've been in the loft, using it as our master bedroom for the last 2.5 years and haven't had any problems and feels like a well crafted and solid addition to our house. Matt was always available during the process and able to help guide us when decisions had to be made also, offering creative solutions to meet our requirements for the build. The rest of the team did a decent job, particularly the carpenter who we thought was excellent; where things weren't done quite right with some of the electrics and decoration, Matt and the team were always good about taking the feedback and correcting, which made all the difference in achieving the results we wanted.

I'm absolutely delighted with the ground floor extension that Matt at Firtree and his team built. The work included a kitchen, living area and shower room. I was impressed with Firtree Building Services from the start. Matt provided a comprehensive and detailed quote at the outset, with everything itemised. None of the other builders I contacted did this. Before I decided to use his firm, I went to see extensions he'd done for two previous clients. The work was to a high standard and the two clients couldn't praise Matt and his team highly enough. Matt managed the entire project and throughout the build he and his team were utterly trustworthy and professional. They all took great pride in their work, which was evident in the finished build. We shared 8 months of out lives with Firtree Building Services -we were crazy enough to live in the house during the build- while they carried out carried out a loft conversion/ground floor side return extension/bathroom refit - they are everything you could hope for in a building firm - reliable, trustworthy and considerate professionals. Matt is an experienced project manager and builder who can relied upon time and again to provide solutions to problems that arise. He takes time to listen and pride in his work. He wants you to be happy and we certainly are. Builders get bad press but Matt and his team are a great to work with. If we were crazy enough to go through another refurbishment Firtree Building Services would definitely be part of the plan because without them I'm not sure we would have achieved all that we have.
