We had an excellent experience at every step of the process. Dexter came and gave us a quote which was very competitive. Sam then came and measured up for the doors and windows that we wanted and gave us advice on the best designs and type of glass. We were then given a date and time that the two fitters would be installing the windows and doors. They were on time and worked throughout the day until all the windows were installed. They arrived on time to install the door the next day. They came back on the third day to check over the work with us and make sure we were happy with the work! They cleaned up at the end of every day and were always friendly and helpful. We will be having more work done next year and will definitely be using this family-run company!

Product details were absolutely crucial for me to choose the right trader to supply and fit these French doors. Excellent customer care and people skills. They cleaned where needed during fitting they were precise in the finishing to my French doors. After fitting they gave me some tips in do and don’t to get the best lifetime results in these French doors. We are absolutely thrilled with our bi-fold doors and large kitchen window to our new extension and our side door and bedroom window. Replacement back door and window - used the Truedoor designer and received initial quote, followed by team coming to measure up. Door/window took about 1 month to be made to my specifications. Great quality door/window and handles. Took the morning to fit - the team were polite, tidied up after themselves and was a great finish. I will use their services again.

Installed bay windows and a new front door. From Mike, who gave us good advice on what to have and Noel and Sam performing the install, we received excellent and professional service from start to finish. Good clean workers. More than pleased with windows and door and would highly recommend.

We are delighted with our new bay windows and front door which were supplied and fitted recently. From the the very first survey and quote to the completion of the job. We experienced a high quality, efficient, sooth running and friendly job. The process was exactly as described by Mike who did the survey, with no surprises. Noel and Sam worked hard and were friendly and sympathetic to our situation. They replaced our old double glazed windows, which I thought were okay. However, now that the weather has got colder in December. We are noticing a big difference in the way that the heat is being retained in the house. I have just had all my upstairs windows replaced with fully flush UPVC black windows. My house if circa 400 years old so i needed the work done sympathetically. I found Fitter Rates not only highly competitive on price, but also polite and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The two window fitter who completed all the work were Noel and Sam, both were diligent in their work, worked extremely hard, and advised me of all the work that they did step by step. They also cleaned and cleared up after themselves each day. this was no small job, however, it was undertaken superbly. i would 100% recommend this company for your window and door replacements. I will use them again when i decide to have my downstairs fitted with new windows.

Noel & Sam are a credit to the company. They were here for three days and politely put up with me following them around as I am nosey. Very professional, no fuss installation and left no mess. Ten windows, a composite door and sliding porch door ordered at the end of February and fitted in four days in the first week of April. The service has been excellent, along with the clean and professional fitting, carried out by Sam and Noel. The product is very good quality and has made an immediate difference to heat loss and outside noise levels in the house. Cost of supply and fitting were very reasonable. An excellent company to deal with, many thanks to all involved.

Fitters Rates Ltd fitted 23 windows in my house. The process of choosing the most suitable frames and fitting information was made easy by the good advice and friendly assistance provided. Despite some delay due to admin difficulties and the virus, the work was carried out with a minimum of disruption taking into account the time of year and that we were close by. Overall I am very satisfied with the work which was done in a professional way and at a competitive cost.

I purchased three UPVC windows from this company on the recommendation of a tradesman who had worked with them previously and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I needed three windows, two small ones in my bathroom and one large one in a bedroom. Their response was prompt and I was pleased to be able to purchase the two smaller windows in black and the larger in white, and they are all sash windows, following the design of the house’s original windows. I am very pleased with them-they look fantastic, and the installation process was quick and very efficient . The tradesmen arrived on time and worked quietly and consistently and were very courteous. They cleaned the area well when they had finished. Also o the windows were very reasonably priced.

We had a new front and back door fitted today by Mike and a lovely young lad, the work was done to a very high standard, everything was explained to us about using the doors to keep them working correctly, their prices are very competitive would highly recommend them to anyone love the new doors. I personally highly recommend this family run business well I can say plenty a caring, friendly go out of the way for you, always telling & showing you what they are doing the fitters 2 young men came out on the 19th July in this heat to installed a complete windows & doors installation, before they started they laid dust sheets down, then one by one all the windows out & doors. Amazing work, always cleaning up after them, Excellent service, reliable, friendly. Definitely, be used & recommended..

I obtained 4 quotes to replace a pedestrian door into my garage. Fitters Rates was the cheapest and were the easiest people to deal with, so I chose them. One of the other companies subjected me to an hour's hard sell. I was quoted mid-May for completion, which they comfortably met. The work was completed by 2 young polite and friendly fitters who only took an hour or so to complete the job. They cleaned up afterwards and gave advice on how to look after the door. I was well pleased with the result.

We used Mike and his team following recommendations from friends, they were also the most competitive of the quotes we found. The boys who fitted the two windows were polite and efficient, the area was left clean and tidy and they were happy to answer any questions we had. We have used this company for several years, on all our properties, and have always found them to be first class. To date they have fitted four front doors, eight windows, and a set of French doors. The work has always been carried out in a professional manner, have always arrived on time, and kept us informed if there are issues with the job. The fitters are polite, respectful of our property, and always leave the site clean and tidy, and never leave anything on site for us to dispose of. Our tenants have also given us the same feedback. I researched the cost of purchasing and installing 5 door bi-fold doors to my kitchen extension. Fitters Rates came in by far the cheapest. I was a bit concerned that at the price they quoted the quality my be lower than the others but I needn’t have worried. They said they would come out to measure and that installation would be two weeks later... this is exactly what happened. The fitters were quick, efficient, tidy and polite... I couldn’t have asked for more. The door closer/restrictor bar on the main door bent after being caught in the wind. They came out to sort it. I also brought their attention to a small scratch on the inside of the double glazing. Again no trouble in replacing the whole panel. I have already recommended them to friends!

Set of doors fitted to a exceptionally high standard. My wife dealt with the team of fitters who were extremely polite and carried out the work really well. Will be going back for any other glazing needs in the spring. Windows and Canopy coming next.
