I will keep this review brief, even though my complaint dragged on for several months. Flintshire Roofing repaired my garage roof but made a mistake(s), which showed up as sagging roofing felt and puddles of rain water. I contacted the owner of the Company, a Jonathan Jones, in order to obtain a refund. At a brief final meeting he became very aggressive, threatening and abusive. I had to report one threat to the police. I am an elderly OAP and Jones is much younger and bigger. Jones may construct a response to my review. However, the type of person who threatens an OAP will often lie to cover their mistakes. The main point of this review is to reduce the risk of any other person being subjected this type of behaviour. Therefore, I suggest you do not use this Company.

Weather conditions & holidays (first request made during Aug) Delayed start until date shown work nearly completed by team of 4/5 on day. - part of plastics was unavailable until day 2. Prompt return on 20th waste disposal good though could have brushed yard etc more thoroughly. 21st - rain am leak from bracket - rubber seal had not been inserted call to office - 1/2 hour later fault rectified.

I'm very happy with the work done. Initial response and quote was very quick, but I was told the work would be done within a week, which didn't happen, and I did not hear anything. I rang to check after the Easter break (two weeks later), and someone came the next day.

I noticed slates slipping on my roof. The job was arranged and completed within hours. Rhys, who did the work, was excellent. He made light of the job and dealt with any snags - such as difficult access - without fuss and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He (and the office staff) made what could have been an anxiety-inducing and time-consuming problem into a straightforward and timely experience. I would certainly recommend the firm to others and, should the need arise, would be happy to use them again.

I asked for a quote for recovering our garage roof, Jonathon turned up on time and went through the options with us and suggested the best for the job. We received the quote in a couple of days and agreed to have the work done. Two of his team arrived and completed the work in a day using the Firestone rubber covering, which has a 20 year guarantee so I will not have to worry about the roof for a good while. His team were courteous and explained what they were doing as they went along. I would recommend Flintshire Roofing as they did what they said and promptly.
