We had a fantastic experience with this carpet sales company from start to finish. The carpet fitting was prompt, professional, and completed exactly on schedule and within budget. Communication throughout the process was excellent and always timely, which made everything run smoothly. The fitters were with us all week and consistently demonstrated outstanding service, professionalism, and attention to detail. They were helpful, knowledgeable and clearly took pride in their work. We have recently had a new floor laid in our main bedroom. We asked Flooring Matters SW to carry out the work for us, as we were very impressed with the work they done on our second bedroom floor previously. This was a very smooth, professional and easy process for us, made possible by the company and it's colleagues. A STRONG RECOMMENDATION - HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL
We recently had Flooring Matters lay new ULT flooring for us following the removal of some internal walls in our house. From start to finish the responsiveness, attention to detail and the level of professionalism was exceptional. Our job was a bit difficult requiring a "matching up" of the new flooring and an existing carpet. The installers Sturt & Tory were incredible reflecting those same attributes as Flooring Matters. We did a competitive tendering process and although Flooring Matters were more expensive it was well worth paying that little bit extra to get the outcome we have. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Flooring Matters if you have a ULT flooring requirement.

They produced a competitive quote for replacing the floors in 3 rooms promptly and started the work on time. Although the existing floors were found to be uneven the team quickly found, and agreed with us, a solution which proved to be effective. The work was carried out very efficiently and the men went out of their way to minimise the inevitable disruption. The resulting floors exceeded our expections and we would not hesitate use Flooring Matters again.

We have now had Flooring Matters do three flooring jobs for us. I can recommend this firm as being first-class. Very welcoming owner and showroom staff who are willing to spend time with you to make sure that you get the correct products for your situation. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was very helpful for us to be able to borrow sample books to take home. The fitter for our 2nd and 3rd jobs, Stuart, was brilliant and took his time to make sure that the jobs were done to the highest possible standard. Flooring Matters will be the firm that we go to for our next flooring project.

Flooring matters quoted for three rooms and our entrance hall. The sales manager visited our house and the quote and associated advice was clear, helpful and timely. We valued the discussion of various options for the floor, given our specific context. We booked fitters and the surface we wanted and they arrived on the agreed day, and worked hard and efficiently to complete the job. We also went to their show room to see larger areas of the surfaces, which was helpful. They dealt with a few minor issues brilliantly and we are delighted with the finished result. We chose a herringbone pattern which other fitters were cautious about fitting due to the time and complexity. However Flooring matters did this as a matter of course. I would recommend then as a company based on our experience.

After a viewing and consultation with Neil we decided to choose the LVT Invictus Maximus herringbone- Roast and it was booked for fitting on 24 March. Arrived on time and removed all old carpet and underlay including grippers and disposed of, then fitted the ply flooring sheets and sealed the floor. The herringbone lvt was then laid down and the floor finished and cleaned up. Very pleased with the finished result. Can easily recommend Flooring Matters and the staff, you won’t be disappointed.

New engineered floor incorporating electric heating mat

Replacement floor installed as part of a complete kitchen upgrade. Process involved laying a chipboard sub-floor, then insulation backer boards, followed by electric underfloor heating mat, then a latex screed, and finally engineered oak boards to finish. Being an old building the original joists were way out of level, which meant the fitters had to spend a lot of time packing up the chipboard flooring to reduce some of the differences in level. Ian and his colleague were extremely courteous and considerate; we were particularly impressed by the care taken to prepare everything, which resulted in an excellent end result. Highly recommended.

Flooring matters completed karndean flooring on my stairs. This wasn't an easy job for them, they did a lot of levelling and sorting out a mistake that another company had made. However, they did it with ease and I was very impressed with the finish. They were professional from start to finish. They quickly came out and gave me a quote. They quickly booked the job in. I've been really pleased and I would definitely use them again.
