Forbes were all excellent. They came punctually each day and were always friendly. They thought there was a bee's nest high up in the tree. (It transpired to be a wasp's.) They talked to the bee expert who said that it was best to cut the tree down in one go and he would deal with the bees. They cut it down very precisely, hitting nothing and making little noise. Our neighbours could not believe how neat it was! They came back to chop it into logs and remove it all through the house. They took over 6 hours with 4 of them working. The mess was incredible and they cleared it all up. They even shook my dust sheets and swept any mess in the house. I could not rate anyone higher.

The team was professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. They reduced tall trees in the garden quickly and efficiently with no mess and no fuss, and cleaned up thoroughly.

We would like to thank Sean at Forbes Tree Care, and thanks especially on the day to Alex, Joel, and Harry, who were lovely and great from start to finish of the job. They turned up on time, were super polite, and did a quality job. As all the tree rubble had to go through our turn-of-the-century terrace, they sheeted the route through the house as soon as they arrived. I would happily recommend.

I was very happy with the tree trimming at my property by Sean and his team at Forbes Tree Care. This is the second time I have used their service and I was very satisfied. Sean responded quickly to my request for a quote. One of his team came to the property to assess and very promptly I got a quote to do the work. Sean also took care of contacting the local council to get approval for the work to be done. On the day agreed, the team arrived on time, were polite and responsive to my questions. They did their work and cleaned up very quickly. I am fully satisfied with Forbes service and would be happy to recommend them.

Forbes kept to the timings for appointments and work and carried out the work very efficiently, removing all debris. This is the second time I have used them.

Forbes cut and pruned a large fig tree in our back garden. It involve carrying all the cuttings through our house and into the street. The work was carried out to our requirements. They put down dust sheets through the house and cleaned up well in the garden and in the house. All in all a very good job.

Forbes Tree Care removed a large dead tree for us - they were prompt, very pleasant to deal with, efficient and left no debris. I would definitely recommend.

Work tricky - Large elderflower/berry tree falling over in our garden and onto neighbours fence, tree entangled with Ivy and very thorny climbing rose. Work achieved quickly and efficiently (quicker than I had anticipated). All debris had to be carried through house. Forbes protected walls, floors etc and cleared up after work ended. All personnel involved very pleasant. Initial estimate visit reassuring and informative. Communication during and after also efficient and professional. Would use again nice people to work with.

3 Guys from Forbes came to cut back trees and high hedges in my mothers garden. They did an excellent job, careful to make sure Mum was happy with the height of the trees and where they were cutting. Very kind and friendly and cleared up very well turned up at the time and day agreed and were very efficient. My mother was so pleased with the work done and we both felt that the cost of the work was extremely reasonable. We will definitely use Forbes again and more than happy to recommend.

Forbes Tree Care took out three trees and cut back others in our garden. The service was very good from start to finish: easy to make the booking, with a visit to assess the job before quoting; turned up on time; took care about protecting the carpet and floors - all equipment and waste had to be taken through the house; effective delivery of the work itself; and careful clearing up. I would gladly use them again.

Tree maintenance on a cherry and plum tree in West London. This is the 3rd/4th time Forbes Tree care have visited and as usual they've done an excellent job. 2 chaps arrived on time bit early actually, they went over the quote with us to make sure it what we wanted, every thing was correct. They sorted out how to get equipment into garden as it was very awkward, kept us updated all the time then got on with cutting the trees. They were polite an careful when entering our property even took boots off when came through. When they finished they checked it was to our satisfaction, which it was, very happy with the job. Then they cleaned everything up. Very pleased

I have used them 2 or 3 times and am always more than happy with their work. They previously removed a dead tree as well as sourcing and planting a well-grown replacement, all with access only through the house. Very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent experience. I got a quote quickly, it was very competitive. A date was arranged for the two day job. The men turned up on time and completed the job in the timescale that was quoted. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. The team were professional and very helpful. I was delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend.

We had to cut down and remove a tall overgrown tree with deep roots, and branches hanging over the next door’s garden. Also, large branches of our plum tree needed cutting back to bring light and sunlight back into our garden. When visiting, Sean gave us good advice and quoted quickly for the task. On the day, his team arrived on time, courteous, very friendly and organised. They worked safely, efficiently to agreed budget. They left our property clean – including our neighbour’s. I recently had to have my large plum treee cut back as it was over hanging the garden fence and the previous next door neighbour, who had no issue with the tree and actually enjoyed it, sold up and it was bought by someone who was less of a fan. This mature tree was one of the reasons bought the property 10 years ago, so a big reduction was a sad day for me... But forbes tree care made it as painless as possible. They were warm friendly and sympathetique. They provided excellent advice and took great care of the tree and of my home in removing the debris. Once they had finished the tree looked less destroyed than I had imagined and I'm sure after a couple of years it's new lopsidedness will become a feature. They worked quickly and efficiently, even in the rain and came in on budget. This is not the first time I have used forbes tree care and always go to them first whenever I have any tree surgery needs. Whilst I value the tree I also value the relationship with my neighbour, however misguided their views on trees might be. I was pleased to be able to reach out to a company that I trusted who could safe guard my tree.

Sean, Alex and their team of tree surgeons were fantastic! Very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, polite, helpful and took extreme care during the pollarding of very large trees located in a difficult position on my property. Sean organised prior access to the rear property that adjoined mine and during the tree cutting and felling process, the team worked on both sides to ensure that work was carried out to a very high standard with complete health and safety protocols in place. They also did a great job in trimming large branches of a two large evergreen trees along with clearing overgrown ground cover in my garden. At the end of the works, the garden was left free of tree debris and in a tidy state. They were punctual and kept to the scheduled dates as per our agreement and were very competitively priced when compared to other companies. Overall, Forbes Tree Care were an excellent choice and I’m very happy with their service. I will unhesitatingly use them again for any tree works and recommend them very highly. Expert job of pruning and shaping trees in a dense urban environment, shaping them well and carrying out the work without damage to fences, glass house or other property. The team arrived promptly and were well organised. They provided protections and left everything neat and tidy. Their arboriculturalists are experts on the trees they prune and freely offered advice about maintenance. All of them were very friendly and appeared to enjoy their work. They carried out the work and invoiced exactly in accordance with the quotation they gave. I shall not hesitate to ask them to return and prune when the trees need it again in about 4 years time.

I have used Forbes on a couple of occasions now and have found them to be polite, friendly, very knowledgeable and they always leave things nice and tidy. The first time I used Forbes was to prune a huge plum tree and they were really great. There was an issue with my garage door and they helped me resolve that before they left which I much appreciated. This time they removed the above tree for me and were very helpful about the type of tree I could replace it with and exactly where I should plant it. Overall I have found all of the people that have come to my house to be really great and I would definitely always use them in the future for any tree work.
