About
At Forbes Tree Care we run a team of highly qualified, experienced tree surgeons working in north London. We can carry out any tree related service you require, including tree pruning, tree felling and tree planting. We provide impartial advice on what’s best for you and your tree.
We are qualified in Professional Tree Inspection (PTI) and trained to use Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA). We can provide risk assessments and mortgage reports.
We are Associate Members of the Arboricultural Association.
We are fully insured and all our work is carried out to BS3998: 2010 and BS5837: 2012.
Based in North London, Forbes Tree Care Ltd was founded in 2010 by Sean Galton. A passion for conservation was the motivation to form a company that could maintain and care for trees in the urban environment.
We put the environment at the forefront of our work, reducing emissions and reusing tree products wherever possible. We appreciate the importance of safety and trees in the city.

Forbes cut and pruned a large fig tree in our back garden. It involve carrying all the cuttings through our house and into the street. The work was carried out to our requirements. They put down dust sheets through the house and cleaned up well in the garden and in the house. All in all a very good job.

Work tricky - Large elderflower/berry tree falling over in our garden and onto neighbours fence, tree entangled with Ivy and very thorny climbing rose. Work achieved quickly and efficiently (quicker than I had anticipated). All debris had to be carried through house. Forbes protected walls, floors etc and cleared up after work ended. All personnel involved very pleasant. Initial estimate visit reassuring and informative. Communication during and after also efficient and professional. Would use again nice people to work with.

3 Guys from Forbes came to cut back trees and high hedges in my mothers garden. They did an excellent job, careful to make sure Mum was happy with the height of the trees and where they were cutting. Very kind and friendly and cleared up very well turned up at the time and day agreed and were very efficient. My mother was so pleased with the work done and we both felt that the cost of the work was extremely reasonable. We will definitely use Forbes again and more than happy to recommend.

Thank you Forbes. Our tree is now a beautiful shape and allows light into the house. The trim was thoughtful, efficient, quick and tidied up afterwards. Thank you for not charging us the first time you came and spotted a nest, meaning the trimming could not go ahead and you lost a day’s work. I definitely recommend you.

Forbes Tree Care took out three trees and cut back others in our garden. The service was very good from start to finish: easy to make the booking, with a visit to assess the job before quoting; turned up on time; took care about protecting the carpet and floors - all equipment and waste had to be taken through the house; effective delivery of the work itself; and careful clearing up. I would gladly use them again.

Tree maintenance on a cherry and plum tree in West London. This is the 3rd/4th time Forbes Tree care have visited and as usual they've done an excellent job.
