Expert job of pruning and shaping trees in a dense urban environment, shaping them well and carrying out the work without damage to fences, glass house or other property. The team arrived promptly and were well organised. They provided protections and left everything neat and tidy. Their arboriculturalists are experts on the trees they prune and freely offered advice about maintenance. All of them were very friendly and appeared to enjoy their work. They carried out the work and invoiced exactly in accordance with the quotation they gave. I shall not hesitate to ask them to return and prune when the trees need it again in about 4 years time.

Forbes Tree Care took out three trees and cut back others in our garden. The service was very good from start to finish: easy to make the booking, with a visit to assess the job before quoting; turned up on time; took care about protecting the carpet and floors - all equipment and waste had to be taken through the house; effective delivery of the work itself; and careful clearing up. I required a dead plum tree taken down and chopped for firewood together with a holly and pyracantha hedge reduced by 1 metre. Alfie Bines Gardens recommended Forbes Treecare. I called Sean and a visit to look at work and provide quote was arranged within 24 hours. The quote was received within a couple of days, accepted and the date was agreed. The team of two arrived as arranged at 8.30am and worked solidly without a break until completion at 3pm. All work was efficiently completed and the waste was removed. Helpfully the firewood was carried up the lawn and stacked as requested. In summary, a highly skilled job carried out professionally.

The crew pruned 3 large London plane trees and an overgrown Pyracantha bush. They organised the necessary permissions from the local council and liaised with the neighbours at the rear, very efficiently. They arrived on time, and quickly got organised, each person (including a woman) knowing what they were to do. They cleared the cuttings as they went along, and my garden was left clean and tidy.

Very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, polite, helpful and took extreme care during the pollarding of very large trees located in a difficult position on my property. Sean organised prior access to the rear property that adjoined mine and during the tree cutting and felling process, the team worked on both sides to ensure that work was carried out to a very high standard with complete health and safety protocols in place. They also did a great job in trimming large branches of a two large evergreen trees along with clearing overgrown ground cover in my garden. At the end of the works, the garden was left free of tree debris and in a tidy state. They were punctual and kept to the scheduled dates as per our agreement and were very competitively priced when compared to other companies. A pleasant team of tree surgeons who arrived promptly to trim two trees and remove ivy. The work was carried out to a professional standard with safety harnesses etc. worn. Branches were taken away and the place left tidy. The agreed schedule and budget was kept.

We first secured Sean's help with hedges and a pear tree in the garden 8 years ago. He was then a one-man band. An olive tree, a couple of feet tall when planted, had grown over three storeys high and was in need of a haircut and pruning. A reasonable quote was given after an inspection of the tree and the company undertook to obtain council permission for the work. On the day, two employees turned up at the time stipulated, explained what they were going to do and made sure we were happy. The work was carried out efficiently and neatly. My wife and I had two trees which were getting too big for their boots and were also a bit tangled. To make things worse they were between a garden fence and a fishpond which gave difficult access. After having visits from four companies we chose Sean's Forbes Treecare. Sean told us they were quite busy and couldn't do the job straight away. (I like to deal with companies who 'have a lot on'). As the trees had taken 15 years to grow to their size I considered a little longer wouldn't matter. Sean sent two men who made easy work of it. They covered the large-ish pond with a tarp to stop sawdust, etc, getting to our many fish. They were obviously top professionals.
