The team that came worked on a number of our trees including very tall trees. The three person team came on time on the scheduled date and were really friendly, sociable and also knew their trees! The work was done swiftly to the agreed brief and our property was left tidy, and all cut-down material was cleared. We have used this company previously and are very happy with their work and would gladly recommend them. Very happy!

As usual Forbes Tree Care did an excellent job of reducing my lovely Magnolia tree to a manageable size . They arrived as scheduled and were friendly and checked with me my job requirements and worked efficiently until work completed. They continued to check in with me during the work to make sure I was happy with the extent of the reduction work and removed all the waste created leaving my garden tidy . I was very pleased with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again and would happily recommend them to others .

I have used Forbes Treecare on a number of occasions to prune my magnolia tree. On all occasions I have been very pleased with their work. The team always do an excellent job, they are always on time and efficient. I work, so cannot be at home when they are doing the pruning but I have every confidence in them as professionals and the garden is left tidy after they have finished. I would recommend Forbes Treecare, Sean and his team for this service.

I have a gorgeous Acer in my front garden, it's an ornamental tree. With all the rain this summer it morphed into a much larger tree and was dominating the front garden blocking out light and so on. I love this tree and I wanted to make sure that it was sympathetically pruned. Alex came to first scope out the job and then he did the trimming with the help of the other guys. Acers don't like to be heavily pruned and it takes real expertise to do it properly. The tree looks great! Alex did a terrific job and was so pleasant to work with.

This is the second time we've used Sean's team at Forbes tree care. Both times the service has been friendly, economical and professional, from communication, quoting, and the actual service on the day (including great clean up in the garden and house). These guys really know what they're doing and are lovely to come around, added to which the quotes both times have been pretty reasonable for the amount of work involved. Highly recommend!

Forbes Treecare Ltd were extremely helpful initially with advice, and then very efficient and thorough planting our new trees as well as transplanting two shrubs that needed moving. We used them several times during the last couple of years when our Honey Locust tree needed pruning. We recommend them unconditionally.

I can highly recommend Forbes Treecare.

The crew pruned 3 large London plane trees and an overgrown Pyracantha bush. They organised the necessary permissions from the local council and liaised with the neighbours at the rear, very efficiently. They arrived on time, and quickly got organised, each person (including a woman) knowing what they were to do. They cleared the cuttings as they went along, and my garden was left clean and tidy.

We appointed Forbes Treecare to reduce an oak, about 15m tall, in our garden. I was pleased with the clarity of the information provided in advance of the works as well as with the 4 young gentlemen who carried out the task professionally and efficiently.

I required a dead plum tree taken down and chopped for firewood together with a holly and pyracantha hedge reduced by 1 metre. Alfie Bines Gardens recommended Forbes Treecare. I called Sean and a visit to look at work and provide quote was arranged within 24 hours. The quote was received within a couple of days, accepted and the date was agreed. The team of two arrived as arranged at 8.30am and worked solidly without a break until completion at 3pm. All work was efficiently completed and the waste was removed. Helpfully the firewood was carried up the lawn and stacked as requested. In summary, a highly skilled job carried out professionally.

This was a great tree service team. So pleased. They came on time, were profession, thoughtful and considerate. They cleaned up the garden, leaves which fell into the neighbour's garden, the house, the front garden and the street around the chipper. Great team manager and members of the team. Fantastic!

Large apple tree crown reduction

We had inherited a large apple tree in our garden and were unsure as to how much of it should be pruned in order to keep the tree healthy. We’d already had a quote from another firm but weren’t impressed. Sean came and gave us great advice which worked best for us and the long term health of the tree - and the job was very competitively priced too. The work was completed within a few weeks & we’re extremely happy with the results. We would highly recommend Forbes Treecare & will be back to use their services in future.

Having appointed Forbes Treecare to fell two very large (15m and 20m) poplar trees, we found the whole team to be very efficient and a pleasure to work with. We got the impression that the whole team enjoyed their work as well as working together. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They protected the inside of the house so as to carry through all the waste and tidied up all the debris from the tree felling. Their cost was very competitive too. I would strongly recommend them!

An olive tree, a couple of feet tall when planted, had grown over three storeys high and was in need of a haircut and pruning. We saw a Forbes Treecare team working nearby and checked the excellent Which? Trusted Trader for information and reviews about the company. A reasonable quote was given after an inspection of the tree and the company undertook to obtain council permission for the work. On the day, two employees turned up at the time stipulated, explained what they were going to do and made sure we were happy. The work was carried out efficiently and neatly. The level of knowledge from the team leader was impressive. We received excellent service from Forbes Treecare and would heartily recommend the company.

We needed to have two sycamore trees felled as these were restricting the light to neighbouring gardens and in danger of undermining garden walls. A three man team undertook the work and completed the job in 2 to 3 hours. The trees were fully shredded on site and the area surrounding the work fully cleared of debris. The stumps were treated to prevent regrowth. The team were extremely competent and polite and the cost of the service lower than we expected having tried to estimate the cost using online sources. I thoroughly recommend Forbes Treecare.

I called Forbes Treecare , among others to get a quote for removal of a Sycamore tree causing cracks to front of our house. Sean attended and provided a written quote swiftly. Works were arranged for a couple of weeks later, at my convenience and Sean and his team arrived promptly and carried out the tree removal efficiently and properly. All tree debris was removed and the area was left clean and tidy. A hassle free transaction, I would have no hesitation in recommending Forbes Treecare to anyone and would use them again for any further works needed without hesitation.
