I called Forbes Treecare , among others to get a quote for removal of a Sycamore tree causing cracks to front of our house. Sean attended and provided a written quote swiftly. Works were arranged for a couple of weeks later, at my convenience and Sean and his team arrived promptly and carried out the tree removal efficiently and properly. All tree debris was removed and the area was left clean and tidy. A hassle free transaction, I would have no hesitation in recommending Forbes Treecare to anyone and would use them again for any further works needed without hesitation.

Excellent experience. I got a quote quickly, it was very competitive. A date was arranged for the two day job. The men turned up on time and completed the job in the timescale that was quoted. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. The team were professional and very helpful. I was delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend.

2 chaps arrived on time bit early actually, they went over the quote with us to make sure it what we wanted, every thing was correct. They sorted out how to get equipment into garden as it was very awkward, kept us updated all the time then got on with cutting the trees. They were polite an careful when entering our property even took boots off when came through. When they finished they checked it was to our satisfaction, which it was, very happy with the job. Then they cleaned everything up. Very pleased

Sean and his team have been helping me keep the larger shrubs and climbers in my garden under control for the past several years - rabid pyracantha, wisteria, vine, roses, and they have also removed troublesome trees. I have been very happy with the quality of work and all of the guys I have met have been professional and very efficient: particular shout out to Alex, Jon and of course Sean.

I contracted Sean to take down a very large eucalyptus tree in my garden. He was prompt, polite and professional. He quoted quickly, was reasonably priced and did the job exactly as expected. He also gave me advice about potential to plant some new trees. He did a great job. I would recommend him highly and will use his services again.

Sean came round to quote a couple of times as we were being indecisive. He was the only quote we got that was comfortable with grinding out stumps and getting machine through our narrow, long flat. His quote was fair and he did the planning application for us, as we live in a conservation area. He was knowledgeable regarding the local council and impressive. On the day, his team arrived on time and were organised, professional and careful, led by Patrick. They were positive and seemed confident. We have a long, narrow hallway and they had to remove three trees from our garden including grinding out the stumps, and remove all waste through the front door. I was amazed how well they protected our newly refurbished flat (new wooden floors, kitchen and completely renovated) with ease. No damage done. All done in one day and payment terms reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone. We have had a lot of work done in our home and this lot compare favourably!

Forbes Tree Care felled a dead tree, tidied up an overgrown elder and took height off some overgrown shrubs. The team arrived on time and confirmed the details of the job. They explained what they would do in detail. They introduced themselves to the neighbours to make people feel comfortable with them on the borders. Whilst they were with me, they also helped dig up an old stump and move some garden furniture. After the job, they cleaned up so you couldn’t tell they’d been. The stand out part of their service was the friendliness of the team. I really enjoyed having them in the garden for a few hours. I can’t wait for the trees to get overgrown again so that they can come back over! Would definitely recommend.

Forbes were recommended to us. Do not use cheap alternatives. Organised efficient service - taking down two trees, reducing size of 3 others, all roots removed. Could not be more pleased with the work. Considering it is December you would not know that several workmen/women had been in our garden. Real care taken, all rubbish removed. Cleared everything away. Would recommend and definitely use again. Very pleased we found this company.

We had trees on the boundary of our property pruned. The workers ere punctual, polite, helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with the work completed and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had inherited a large apple tree in our garden and were unsure as to how much of it should be pruned in order to keep the tree healthy. We’d already had a quote from another firm but weren’t impressed. Sean came and gave us great advice which worked best for us and the long term health of the tree - and the job was very competitively priced too. The team arrived promptly, and carried out the tidying up work on our (slowly) dying oak tree. They were quick and efficient and safety conscious. They left the garden tidy too. They put up a bird feeder and positioned it just as we wanted. A good morning's work!

I have used Forbes Treecare on a number of occasions to prune my magnolia tree. On all occasions I have been very pleased with their work. The team always do an excellent job, they are always on time and efficient. I work, so cannot be at home when they are doing the pruning but I have every confidence in them as professionals and the garden is left tidy after they have finished. As usual Forbes Tree Care did an excellent job of reducing my lovely Magnolia tree to a manageable size . They arrived as scheduled and were friendly and checked with me my job requirements and worked efficiently until work completed. They continued to check in with me during the work to make sure I was happy with the extent of the reduction work and removed all the waste created leaving my garden tidy . I was very pleased with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again and would happily recommend them to others .

Forbes did an excellent job of pruning several trees and plants. They were well informed about how it should be done to protect the health of the trees. They were friendly, keen to make sure we were pleased with the work and took care to clean up afterwards.

So we got Sean from Forbes Tree Care on recommendation from a friend. On first meeting, he was very knowledgeable and amenable. We explained what we wanted doing. He said he would get back to us with a quote in a couple of days which he duly did with a date to start work. About a week later I got a text saying they had a cancellation could they start tomorrow. Which was fine with me. On the agreed date his workers turned up on time and were very pleasant and knowledgeable. After they started I got a further text from Sean saying they could complete the whole job in one day brilliant. I got home from work and everything was done and they had left the job site spotless. I have already recommended them to both my neighbours. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone

This is the second time we've used Sean's team at Forbes tree care. Both times the service has been friendly, economical and professional, from communication, quoting, and the actual service on the day (including great clean up in the garden and house). These guys really know what they're doing and are lovely to come around, added to which the quotes both times have been pretty reasonable for the amount of work involved. Highly recommend!

I recently had to have my large plum treee cut back as it was over hanging the garden fence and the previous next door neighbour, who had no issue with the tree and actually enjoyed it, sold up and it was bought by someone who was less of a fan. This mature tree was one of the reasons bought the property 10 years ago, so a big reduction was a sad day for me... But forbes tree care made it as painless as possible. They were warm friendly and sympathetique. They provided excellent advice and took great care of the tree and of my home in removing the debris. Once they had finished the tree looked less destroyed than I had imagined and I'm sure after a couple of years it's new lopsidedness will become a feature. They worked quickly and efficiently, even in the rain and came in on budget. This is not the first time I have used forbes tree care and always go to them first whenever I have any tree surgery needs. Whilst I value the tree I also value the relationship with my neighbour, however misguided their views on trees might be. I was pleased to be able to reach out to a company that I trusted who could safe guard my tree.
