I have used them 2 or 3 times and am always more than happy with their work. They previously removed a dead tree as well as sourcing and planting a well-grown replacement, all with access only through the house. Very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

I recently had to have my large plum treee cut back as it was over hanging the garden fence and the previous next door neighbour, who had no issue with the tree and actually enjoyed it, sold up and it was bought by someone who was less of a fan. This mature tree was one of the reasons bought the property 10 years ago, so a big reduction was a sad day for me... But forbes tree care made it as painless as possible. They were warm friendly and sympathetique. They provided excellent advice and took great care of the tree and of my home in removing the debris. Once they had finished the tree looked less destroyed than I had imagined and I'm sure after a couple of years it's new lopsidedness will become a feature. They worked quickly and efficiently, even in the rain and came in on budget. This is not the first time I have used forbes tree care and always go to them first whenever I have any tree surgery needs. Whilst I value the tree I also value the relationship with my neighbour, however misguided their views on trees might be. I was pleased to be able to reach out to a company that I trusted who could safe guard my tree.

3 Guys from Forbes came to cut back trees and high hedges in my mothers garden. They did an excellent job, careful to make sure Mum was happy with the height of the trees and where they were cutting. Very kind and friendly and cleared up very well turned up at the time and day agreed and were very efficient. My mother was so pleased with the work done and we both felt that the cost of the work was extremely reasonable. We will definitely use Forbes again and more than happy to recommend.

Forbes cut and pruned a large fig tree in our back garden. It involve carrying all the cuttings through our house and into the street. The work was carried out to our requirements. They put down dust sheets through the house and cleaned up well in the garden and in the house. All in all a very good job.

Sean gave me some helpful advice and explained the options for sorting out a badly overgrown pear tree. The team arrived and laid sheets through the house which meant there was no mess to clean up. Everyone was professional, friendly and I felt comfortable having them in my home. They also left the garden tidy. I would highly recommend their services.

Sean and his team removed a large quantity of ivy growing on the back of our house and also pruned a tree in our back garden. They were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and tidied up very well afterwards, despite having to bring much of the waste through the house as we are a terraced property. Would highly recommend them.

Sean and his team certainly know their stuff! Not only are they expert in their work but prompt, friendly and efficient. From reducing a large elder to pruning small unruly bushes, they took the same care throughout and transformed an overgrown jungle into a beautiful manageable garden. I have a small flat with awkward access but they left it tidy and clean and me, a happy customer. Properly explained process during visit for estimate. Exceptional tree cutter and first rate work carried out by him and his two team companions. Strong protective sheeting laid out in the house. Care was taken moving through the narrow hallway with large amounts of cuttings, and clearing up the garden. Excellent work.

Forbes Tree Care managed to gain planning consent in a conservation area to fell an enormous tree in the front garden, which has transformed the home and street immeasurably. The Forbes team were punctual, friendly and very considerate to protect the home from mess. They tirelessly persisted climbing and felling through rain and hail. They also removed a huge amount of ivy from another large tree at the rear. All tasks were expertly and thoroughly completed with a minimum of fuss. I can't recommend Sean and Forbes Treecare enough. They came highly recommended by my neighbours and they didn't disappoint. They were full of good advice, gave a fair quote and super organised. We had work done on our 60/70ft lime tree, reduction in branches and some height taken off. The team were professional and very tidy. The garden was tidier than when they arrived! They were friendly and went through the procedure on the day to make sure that they were doing the right thing. They put protective sheets down in the house and took down pictures off the wall just incase. This is the best price I have ever been quoted for tree work and have paid much more elsewhere. I would highly recommend them, and I will definitely be using them again.

Forbes Treecare Ltd were extremely helpful initially with advice, and then very efficient and thorough planting our new trees as well as transplanting two shrubs that needed moving. We used them several times during the last couple of years when our Honey Locust tree needed pruning. We recommend them unconditionally.

We had to cut down and remove a tall overgrown tree with deep roots, and branches hanging over the next door’s garden. Also, large branches of our plum tree needed cutting back to bring light and sunlight back into our garden. When visiting, Sean gave us good advice and quoted quickly for the task. On the day, his team arrived on time, courteous, very friendly and organised. They worked safely, efficiently to agreed budget. They left our property clean – including our neighbour’s. Have used the services of Forbes for several years to carry out annual tree and bush pruning. Also this year to dig out unwanted plants. Their teams are courteous, efficient and responsive to working jointly throughout the work. They are also particular in clearing away the cut foliage at the end of the job. Work tricky - Large elderflower/berry tree falling over in our garden and onto neighbours fence, tree entangled with Ivy and very thorny climbing rose. Work achieved quickly and efficiently (quicker than I had anticipated). All debris had to be carried through house. Forbes protected walls, floors etc and cleared up after work ended. All personnel involved very pleasant. Initial estimate visit reassuring and informative. Communication during and after also efficient and professional. Would use again nice people to work with.
