Tree maintenance on a cherry and plum tree in West London. This is the 3rd/4th time Forbes Tree care have visited and as usual they've done an excellent job. Sean responded quickly to my request for a quote. One of his team came to the property to assess and very promptly I got a quote to do the work. From the initial consultation with Sean to the work carried out on the day everything was professional and ran smoothly. We had one huge Leylandii reduced in height by 3m, one Leylandii tree cut down and various tree stumps removed. The team did a fantastic job on our front trees. They had checked with local council planning and reviewed and advised this in line with our thoughts on how to thin our trees. Really helpful advice on maintenance going forward, they were professional with expert knowledge on caring for trees. Couldn't fault them and they left our property clean of any debris. We are really happy with the work, we would use them again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for anyone looking for tree care work.

We are a block of flats in Barnet, and needed 10 large trees on our premises (oaks, horse chestnuts etc.) professionally lopped. Difficulties included many trees being on a main road and having a bus stop / busy pavement under some of the trees. Sean's initial visit was a big seller - intelligent, knowledgeable, plenty of advice given - but best of all, an obvious confidence that the job could be done. The Quote was complete, well laid out & reasonable (next to lowest of 4 suppliers we selected). The work was scheduled for, and completed in, a two day window. Sean and his 7 companions were here by 8.15 each morning for a prompt start. And they completed the job on time despite some appalling conditions - sporadic heavy rain and 30-40 mph winds - not good when you're at the top of a tree higher than a three story house. The interface with the general public on the pavement / at the bus stop was handled well, with safety always in mind. The clean away after the job was very thorough. We were very happy with the work done & would happily recommend Forbes Treecare to others - indeed, we have just done so!

We needed to have two sycamore trees felled as these were restricting the light to neighbouring gardens and in danger of undermining garden walls. A three man team undertook the work and completed the job in 2 to 3 hours. The trees were fully shredded on site and the area surrounding the work fully cleared of debris. The stumps were treated to prevent regrowth. The team were extremely competent and polite and the cost of the service lower than we expected having tried to estimate the cost using online sources. I thoroughly recommend Forbes Treecare.

Having appointed Forbes Treecare to fell two very large (15m and 20m) poplar trees, we found the whole team to be very efficient and a pleasure to work with. We got the impression that the whole team enjoyed their work as well as working together. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They protected the inside of the house so as to carry through all the waste and tidied up all the debris from the tree felling. Their cost was very competitive too. I would strongly recommend them!

I have a gorgeous Acer in my front garden, it's an ornamental tree. With all the rain this summer it morphed into a much larger tree and was dominating the front garden blocking out light and so on. I love this tree and I wanted to make sure that it was sympathetically pruned. Alex came to first scope out the job and then he did the trimming with the help of the other guys. Acers don't like to be heavily pruned and it takes real expertise to do it properly. The tree looks great! Alex did a terrific job and was so pleasant to work with.
