Ian and his team are always polite, friendly, reliable and efficient. We have used them many times because of the excellent service they have always provided. On this occasion they fixed a leaking conservatory, replaced broken tiles and cleaned and repaired our gutters. Previously they have removed a chimney stack, retiled our garage and replaced soffits and facias. They are always tidy, arrive and complete the work when they say they will and give good advice.

This is the third time I have used Froest Park Roofing and as usual they have done an excellent job and to budget. The work involved was to refurbish an existing dormer and bring it upto building reg requirements. They are always very tidy and keep me informed about the current stage of the job and when it will be completed etc. No hesitation in recommending them to others.

Iain came to look at our listed building and quickly went on to our roof back and front. He took many photographs and showed them to us. He gave us an estimate, date and a time for the work which was 08:20 on a Friday morning. They arrived at 08:20, erected a tower, and started work on the many, though luckily minor, repairs needed. I took coffee and biscuits out at 10:30, being the time they said they took a break. They had the coffee, ate all the biscuits and said they had finished the job. It was professional, there was no messing, they got on with the job, did all the repairs and were charming and friendly. They said they would come back and refix a rogue piece of guttering, which was nothing to do with the job we had hired them for, and they did so 2 days later at very little cost. The price for the whole job was exactly as the estimate and very reasonable. It is a relief to deal with such a normal and professional company. They answered all my messages quickly.

Iain and his team replaced the lead flashing on our chimney, which had perished and caused a leak in our loft. The whole team were friendly, professional and carried out the work with a minimum of fuss - we’d highly recommend Forest Park Roofing.

The roofing work concerned was part of a larger project to rehabilitate a former farm building for commercial storage purpose and the tasks to be done by Forest Park Roofing included replacing rusted metal purlins, installing 60 square meters of anti- con plastisol coated metal roof profile sheets , and fitting foam fillers and barge flashings where required. To avoid slippage of an already tight schedule, their work had to be coordinated carefully with that by other contractors handling the asbestos removal . At the outset of the project the Forest Park team had provided an excellent proposal which defined the materials they would require and the costs and time they expected to need to complete the work. They arrived on time, did a top quality job, and they completed it in the time allowed and at the price agreed at the outset.

Found Forest Park Roofing via Velux approved installers. Previously all other roofers seemed unable to find the problem. The problem was rain water leaking to the bottom of the window. Forest Park Roofing came when they said they would, found the problem and explained how they would fix it. Their quote was realistic for the work involved and the work was completed within the timescale given. Iain and his team were competent, professional and courteous and would be my go to roofers should I have problems in the future.

The job was modernisation and replacement of faulty control system of a Velux window. A thorough and careful explanation of the work involved. All interactions were pleasant and helpful. Quotation and invoicing were detailed and accurate. The installation was a quick clean careful job. I can thoroughly recommend Iain and his team for this kind of work.

Forest Park Roofing repaired two dormer roofs, repointed a boiler chimney flu stack and carried out miscellaneous tile repairs on my chalet style house. These repairs were non-urgent and the company had been recommended to me by a friend. When surveying the job Forest Park provided much useful advice on repair options/costs and helped me settle on a proposed scheme of work that was not the most expensive but met my expectation in terms of budget and longevity. Iain and his team of four arrived onsite on time and on schedule. The work was completed as planned within the quoted time window. Quality of workmanship was high and I was consulted/informed at all times during the course of the work. I had an issue with my Velux roof window in my conservatory that would not fully shut which would at times allow rain water to drip onto the floor. I contacted Iain at Forest Park Roofing and he came out that same day, he undertook numerous tests/trials on the roof surrounding the window and again inside the Conservatory before substantiating what the issue was. Iain ordered the relevant part and left the window in a locked stare that ensured no rainwater could come into the Conservatory whilst waiting for the part to be delivered. Upon arrival, Iain fitted the part and the problem is now one hundred percent resolved. Iain patiently spent weeks before I ordered from him helping me choose between many options in replacing a Velux window and fitting an electric blind to it. Urgent work was needed which Forest Park dealt with very quickly thank goodness. They came equipped with all materials, ladders etc and managed the job in one go. They have previously worked for us, managing to access a very tortuous tile repair despite the difficulty. A helpful approach at a reasonable cost.

Storm Eunice caused a couple of ridge tiles to come loose. Iain responded immediately to my call, and the work was completed within 7 days. Forest Park Roofing visited to assess damage done when a large tile had slipped off a steep roof section due to a batten splitting due to water ingress through damaged cement at the side of a balcony where it meets the edge of the roof. Ian and his colleagues discussed the problem with us, assessed the work which needed to be done, giving us a time to do the work and a quote for the job. They turned up when they said they would, worked steadily and quietly to get the job done and were helpful and very pleasant throughout. We mentioned another issue on a different side of the roof and once the tile and batten had been replaced, along with another lower batten which they also found to be faulty, the cement removed and repaired, Ian checked and adjusted the tiled area to the other side of the roof as mentioned on initial visit, without need for reminder. He then returned a few days later to tidy up the cement which he had replaced at the side of the balcony and extended the gutter pipe for us which had caused water to drip down the cemented area of the balcony and roof. We were very pleased with the job done for us by Forest Park Roofing and felt that value for money for the service provided was very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

I have had a leak in my bathroom for many years and despite many 'experts' attending at my home no one has been able to ascertain the source of the leak. I called Ian and within half an hour he had established the cause. He replaced a defective bathroom vent retiled the area of the roof around the vent and completed the work to my complete satisfaction. I cannot recommend Forest Park roofing too highly.

We originally asked for downpipes to be replaced but then sprung additional work on them when they arrived. Their response was well beyond our expectations not only did they successfully replace the downpipes but also completed the additional work using ingenuity to complete the work. We have used Forest Park Roofing for the second time. The first was replacing several velux windows on a previous property. The second, we purchased a brand new house with various defects in the slate tiles. We chose to use Forest Park Roofing to rectify the faults and pay them rather than claim warranty repairs. That may seem mad, however, the peace of mind knowing the work was done correctly was a no brainer.

On time, work to fit a replacement, solar operated Velux skylight and insect screen as near perfect as you can get. Insect screen fitted inside a light tunnel, Velux said it couldn't be done, well they did, and it works fine and looks good. came back twice to ensure all work done over two days, paint has to dry, before finishing, fully recommended.

Each year we have problems with seagulls nesting on our chimneys and making a mess, blocking gutters etc. We have tried several times to get builders to look at the chimneys and seagull-proof them, but nobody would do it. Access to the chimneys is quite awkward. Luckily Iain and Chris managed to come and look at our chimneys before the seagulls started nesting and have fixed plastic spikes up there....... Now, after many years, the seagulls are not interested in our chimneys! :-) Iain and Chris were polite, arrived on time and were very tidy and professional. Would highly recommend them. We have had a number of repairs successfully completed by Iain and Chris. Their workmanship is good, they can be relied upon to tackle a range of roofing problems. Forest Park Roofing serviced 5 Velux windows for us. We were aware that they had Which? Trusted Trader accreditation, and were also approved Velux installers. We were also aware that they had done an excellent job re-roofing our property several years ago, before we bought it. They were clearly going to be our first choice for getting the windows serviced. Iain and Chris were very helpful and considerate throughout. The work involved was clearly specified. It was carried out neatly, tidily, and as specified. As a bonus, they sent us a comprehensive suite of photos of the re-roofing work they had completed several years ago - and which still features prominently on their website! We would have no hesitation in recommending this company, or in using their services again if required.

Work was done investigating and repairing leak to dormer cheek. Broken tiles were replaced to rear and front elevation. This was a very efficient and quick job from receiving a quote, to arriving bang on time to start the job. I found the company to be totally trustworthy. They estimated half a days work at £300 to £400 because they were ensure what they would find until tiles were lifted. The job was completed in one hour as work was more straightforward and the problems easily solved so the total bill was for only one hour and not half a day. Highly recommend this family business.

After replacing two Velux bedroom windows earlier in the year, we asked Forest Park Roofing to revisit us to replace two further Velux windows in our bathrooms. Again the work was carried out in the agreed timescale and on budget. Their standards of work are excellent and in our opinion go way beyond normal expectations, in room preparation, execution and cleanliness.

After contacting three local roofing contractors, I decided on Forest Park as they are a Which? Trusted Trader and they came highly recommended by a friend of ours. Their estimate was less that half of one of the others who provided a figure and the final invoice came in at the higher end of the range quoted in the estimate despite including the rerun of two hips as additional work found. The work involved removing years of moss and filth from our newly purchased bungalow roof. This was done by hand, not pressure washer, with the mess cleared and removed from the site. Finally the roof was spray sealed. The tiles ended up looking as clean and new as one could expect on a roof constructed in 1994. It was a superb job and the bungalow already looks less derelict and one big step towards being habitable. The work was completed in the timescale suggested plus a day extra for the additional work identified. Iain communicated well on the scheduling and agreement of dates and all his documentation was of a high standard. I would recommend Forest Park Roofing for any roofing job.

An excellent job just completed by Forest Park Roofing who have just re roofed our timber out building. Job completed as per estimate. Iain and Chris very tidy workers. Site cleared of all rubbish and building now has a shiny new roof complete with guarantee. Also if there were any problems they will come out to remedy. Would use Forest Park Roofing again.

2 Velux window blinds replaced in kitchen. I chose Forest Park Roofing because they were approved by Velux and were in in our local area. Iain and Chris Bowers responded quickly to my telephone call and inspected my broken window blind. This needed to be replaced, together with a second blind that had to match it. These were ordered and collected by them and the new blinds were fitted twenty days later. They were very helpful and professional, as was their correspondence and invoicing. I would use this company again.

We'd sprung 2 leaks where the previous owner's builders had incorrectly installed 2 Velux windows without the right trays. Iain and Chris were knowledgeable, polite and very clean and tidy. It's difficult to find trades people as good as these two and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Iain and Chris have done an excellent job of inserting a Velux skylight into our kitchen’s flat roof. This only took them a day and a half to complete and the roof and skylight were watertight before they left at the end of the first day. They dealt with everything very professionally including organising the electrician and dealing with Building Control. Would happily use them again and can thoroughly recommend them.

Old Asbestolux roofing removed, new metal roofing fitted, lead flashing replaced and brickwork repaired as necessary. Efficient, friendly and prompt. Price as per quote including disposal of asbestos sheet. Thoroughly recommended.

Iain and Chris always advised when they were likely to arrive each day and turned up on time. As the weather was good they worked very quickly to complete ahead of schedule, even working a Saturday. They kept us informed of progress and provided photos of areas with problems/rot etc. They also advised on remedies and costings for any extras and did not push for us to take the most expensive option.

Iain and Chris had already repaired a leak in the roof in July and returned to repoint the chimney. I was more than happy with the work completed in both jobs which turned out to be more reasonable than first quoted in the second job. Fantastic and friendly service. We would highly recommend Forest Park Roofing. Iain and Chris did an excellent & professional job on our Welsh slate roof. This required a complete refurbishment with new battens, new felt and re-use of the old slates plus additional loft insulation. The work has been done to the highest quality including sourcing some old matching slates as needed. The price was very reasonable. Iain and Chris were very considerate, working around the weather to ensure the house was always weather proof. The quote was thorough and identified some possible extra work (eg chimney re-pointing and leadwork) which might be necessary on closer inspection. They kept us fully informed on progress so there were no surprises. They work long hours, are very polite and clean up as they go.

I obtained a quote from Iain and Chris to repair/replace the flat roof on my Mother's garage. I found them polite,punctual and very capable of doing the job. They communicated well, completed the work on time and left everything very tidy. Happy all round and would recommend them.

A leaky corrugated asbestos roof was replaced with composite insulated panels. The work was done on time, with quality materials and workmanship, and with a minimum of disruption. It represents good value and, should it be needed, I would not hesitate to have work done by this company in future.

The latest work undertaken was fitting a velux window into an old cottage roof. The work was completed without issue and all required building regs organised. We have employed Forest Park Roofing on at least 7 occasions over the last 4 years. . The jobs have included tracing leaks and rectifying poor workmanship by other contractors on the roof of a new church hall, restoring the roofs on two semi derelict farm buildings, installing velux roof windows and a sun tunnel on a residential property, and dealing with a difficult leak from a valley between two intersecting tiled roofs. They have had a 100% success record with all these jobs and are now definitely our preferred roofing contractor for any such work that we require . The two brothers that run the company also do the work and actually have to do what they promise. That includes timing and scope of work , so there are no misunderstandings. They are true roofing professionals with wide knowledge of new materials and techniques . They are also very considerate during a job when some customer inconvenience is inevitable, they keep to their priced quotations unless unforeseen circumstances intervene, and if these do arise they discuss the problem with the customer at the earliest possible stage.
