Found Forest Park Roofing through Velux direct as one of only 2 approved fitters in our location. Contacted Iain, who was very helpful from the outset, with advice on cost and the work needed. Excellent and very quick service when the work was carried out and at the exact price of the quote. Would definitely use Iain again and would definitely recommend Forest Park Roofing. Exactly what I was looking for!

The job was the replacement of the original manual blinds with modern electronic alternatives on four Velux windows. Enquiry was promptly answered with thorough and careful explanations of the work involved. All interactions, verbal and email were pleasant and helpful. Quotation and invoicing were detailed and accurate. The installation work was carried out efficiently - a quick clean job, fully respectful of the indoor environment. Despite having a busy schedule of work, Iain took time to visit our church hall and check on the problem. The work was completed shortly after to a good standard. We needed a broken roof tile to be replaced and also, for insurance purposes, a report on the condition of a flat roof. Both were carried out efficiently and on time - despite the company being very busy. They provided good communication and a very comprehensive report, with several useful photographs to illustrate. These were much appreciated by us.

Forest Park are an accredited roofing specialist, which means they are trained to supply roof solutions to the current building regulations without needing an architect to design a solution. I am a chartered engineer who’s day job encompasses the care of a local authority built estate and I can assure you that Ian’s technical knowledge of his field is excellent and programming and execution of the work is superb. This is in part due to Ian’s expertise in diagnosing the anticipated problems and budgeting for the replacement material. The work they did improved the integrity of our roof whilst preserving the patina by using sympathetic new material where required. The standard is far better than I usually see in my job. Very helpful providing information on appropriate tiles, started when they said they would and worked solidly and quickly to a high standard. The work was completed on schedule, to budget and all rubbish and scaffolding removed within one week. I wish all contractors could provide the same level of service. The attention to detail included fitting down pipes into new water butts. Thank you

Iain & Chris did a great job removing a leaky fibre cement (asbestos) roof and replacing with profiled metal sheet. I would happily use them again and highly recommend them.

A leaky corrugated asbestos roof was replaced with composite insulated panels. The work was done on time, with quality materials and workmanship, and with a minimum of disruption. It represents good value and, should it be needed, I would not hesitate to have work done by this company in future.

Iain and Chris had already repaired a leak in the roof in July and returned to repoint the chimney. I was more than happy with the work completed in both jobs which turned out to be more reasonable than first quoted in the second job. It is difficult to find tradespeople you feel you can trust when you have no idea about roofing problems but I certainly feel I would recommend Forest Park Roofing and would call upon them for any other roofing issues.

Old Asbestolux roofing removed, new metal roofing fitted, lead flashing replaced and brickwork repaired as necessary. Efficient, friendly and prompt. Price as per quote including disposal of asbestos sheet. Thoroughly recommended.

2 Velux window blinds replaced in kitchen. I chose Forest Park Roofing because they were approved by Velux and were in in our local area. Iain and Chris Bowers responded quickly to my telephone call and inspected my broken window blind. This needed to be replaced, together with a second blind that had to match it. These were ordered and collected by them and the new blinds were fitted twenty days later. They were very helpful and professional, as was their correspondence and invoicing. I would use this company again.

Work was done investigating and repairing leak to dormer cheek. Broken tiles were replaced to rear and front elevation. This was a very efficient and quick job from receiving a quote, to arriving bang on time to start the job. I found the company to be totally trustworthy. They estimated half a days work at £300 to £400 because they were ensure what they would find until tiles were lifted. The job was completed in one hour as work was more straightforward and the problems easily solved so the total bill was for only one hour and not half a day. Highly recommend this family business.

Forest Park Roofing visited to assess damage done when a large tile had slipped off a steep roof section due to a batten splitting due to water ingress through damaged cement at the side of a balcony where it meets the edge of the roof. Ian and his colleagues discussed the problem with us, assessed the work which needed to be done, giving us a time to do the work and a quote for the job. They turned up when they said they would, worked steadily and quietly to get the job done and were helpful and very pleasant throughout. We mentioned another issue on a different side of the roof and once the tile and batten had been replaced, along with another lower batten which they also found to be faulty, the cement removed and repaired, Ian checked and adjusted the tiled area to the other side of the roof as mentioned on initial visit, without need for reminder. He then returned a few days later to tidy up the cement which he had replaced at the side of the balcony and extended the gutter pipe for us which had caused water to drip down the cemented area of the balcony and roof. We were very pleased with the job done for us by Forest Park Roofing and felt that value for money for the service provided was very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

They seem to have great pride and professionalism in what they do. It's the second time I have used them and I would use them again and recommend them to others. They communicate in an easily understood non-jargon way and deliver exactly on what you agree. The work is second to none, and is carried out quietly and effectively. The working area is left clean and tidy.

We had a small leak in our roof. Iain and Chris came out (squeezing us in between other customers) and had a look. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. I couldn't believe it! Brilliant service and very fair price. Recommended!

Each year we have problems with seagulls nesting on our chimneys and making a mess, blocking gutters etc. We have tried several times to get builders to look at the chimneys and seagull-proof them, but nobody would do it. Access to the chimneys is quite awkward. Luckily Iain and Chris managed to come and look at our chimneys before the seagulls started nesting and have fixed plastic spikes up there....... Now, after many years, the seagulls are not interested in our chimneys! :-) Iain and Chris were polite, arrived on time and were very tidy and professional. Would highly recommend them. Could not fault them at all. Thank you for sorting out our seagull problem!

On time, work to fit a replacement, solar operated Velux skylight and insect screen as near perfect as you can get. Insect screen fitted inside a light tunnel, Velux said it couldn't be done, well they did, and it works fine and looks good. came back twice to ensure all work done over two days, paint has to dry, before finishing, fully recommended.

Forest Park Roofing fitted 8 Velux windows for us last week and the installation was seamless from start to finish. The windows look great but I was more impressed with how tidy they left each room after they had finished, you wouldn’t of even known they had been doing work in there. Urgent work was needed which Forest Park dealt with very quickly thank goodness. They came equipped with all materials, ladders etc and managed the job in one go. They have previously worked for us, managing to access a very tortuous tile repair despite the difficulty. A helpful approach at a reasonable cost.
