I had an issue with my Velux roof window in my conservatory that would not fully shut which would at times allow rain water to drip onto the floor. I contacted Iain at Forest Park Roofing and he came out that same day, he undertook numerous tests/trials on the roof surrounding the window and again inside the Conservatory before substantiating what the issue was. Iain ordered the relevant part and left the window in a locked stare that ensured no rainwater could come into the Conservatory whilst waiting for the part to be delivered. Upon arrival, Iain fitted the part and the problem is now one hundred percent resolved. I can highly recommend Iain to anyone with the upmost confidence of having seen him undertake our issue in a very friendly, amicable and ultra-professional manner and service. Really happy with the whole experience of dealing with Forest Park Roofing. Initial contact was made via email, which was promptly replied too. Site visit followed and questions regarding installation well answered. Competitive estimate followed which we accepted and schedule agreed. Any contact, whether email, message or calls were answered timely and communications throughout were excellent. The job itself was executed efficiently and professionally according to plan. No ‘extras’ were found during the installation and job was completed to initial estimate. We are really happy with the installation of the new Velux’s. Chris and his colleague was very professional and hard working. It was a very hot day and the job was very tricky but they worked all day with hardly a break. We initially requested a quote for a sun tunnel for our kitchen which didn't have much natural light but Iain from Forest Park Roofing suggested fitting a Velux window instead which was a much better idea. The quote was reasonable and the work was carried out in a realistic time frame. Iain and his colleague were extremely professional, work was carried out as requested and we are very happy with the end result. All the hassle of building control was dealt with by Iain, the site was left clean and tidy, and all communication both before and after the work was great. Iain and his team removed a traditional felt flat roof, replaced rotten woodwork in a leaking section and fitted a new EPDM sheet roof in its place. They also fitted lead flashing to an adjoining lean-to. Communication on work timing was excellent. Work was completed on time per schedule and detailed written quote. Quality of workmanship was consistently high. I had used Iain and his team before with same experience and have no hesitation in recommending them for any type of roofing work.

The quote we received was very detailed and the fact that all work was guaranteed gave us peace of mind that we were making a very good choice in Forest Park Roofing. Iain made it clear from the start that it would be several months before work could commence but in the meantime carried out a temporary repair to a flat roof to make sure we were watertight. This before we had actually signed a contract. That spoke volumes to us. The work included the total refurbishment of a pitched tiled roof to the main house, flat roofs to front and rear dormers and upgrade all insulation to meet current industry standards. The new insulation is already paying dividends by reducing our energy consumption! The work was completed on time, on budget and Iain kept us informed of any issues that would resulted in extra costs. Forest Park Roofing take enormous care and pride in the work they do. It’s no exaggeration to say we are absolutely delighted with the work they have carried out for us and we unhesitatingly recommend them.

Forest Park Roofing provided an excellent service (pre-sales, delivery and post-sales) and first-class work. They re-roofed the single story extension on our 125 year old house, re-using tiles where they could and dealing with a very shallow-pitched end gable. They were very clear about what they could do and when, and always did what they said they would do. Their roofers were polite and professional, very tidy and the resulting roof quality is excellent. Quotes and invoices were detailed and clear. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Forest Park roofing as an excellent contractor.

I contacted Iain at Forest Park Roofing to quote for replacing some very old Velux windows in our roof. Iain visited as arranged and his advice and knowledge of the product was excellent. The windows were fitted as arranged and have made a world of difference to our upstairs bedroom. Everything was left spotlessly clean and it was a real pleasure to have Iain carry the work out. After contacting three local roofing contractors, I decided on Forest Park as they are a Which? Trusted Trader and they came highly recommended by a friend of ours. Their estimate was less that half of one of the others who provided a figure and the final invoice came in at the higher end of the range quoted in the estimate despite including the rerun of two hips as additional work found. The work involved removing years of moss and filth from our newly purchased bungalow roof. This was done by hand, not pressure washer, with the mess cleared and removed from the site. Finally the roof was spray sealed. The tiles ended up looking as clean and new as one could expect on a roof constructed in 1994. It was a superb job and the bungalow already looks less derelict and one big step towards being habitable. The work was completed in the timescale suggested plus a day extra for the additional work identified. Iain communicated well on the scheduling and agreement of dates and all his documentation was of a high standard. I would recommend Forest Park Roofing for any roofing job.

An excellent job just completed by Forest Park Roofing who have just re roofed our timber out building. Job completed as per estimate. Iain and Chris very tidy workers. Site cleared of all rubbish and building now has a shiny new roof complete with guarantee. Also if there were any problems they will come out to remedy. Would use Forest Park Roofing again.

Iain and Chris always advised when they were likely to arrive each day and turned up on time. As the weather was good they worked very quickly to complete ahead of schedule, even working a Saturday. They kept us informed of progress and provided photos of areas with problems/rot etc. They also advised on remedies and costings for any extras and did not push for us to take the most expensive option.

We'd sprung 2 leaks where the previous owner's builders had incorrectly installed 2 Velux windows without the right trays. Iain and Chris were knowledgeable, polite and very clean and tidy. It's difficult to find trades people as good as these two and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

When we first contact, Iain told us quite frankly it would be months before they could start work. This meant customers consider them first class. We waited and accepted their quotation (not the cheapest but an acceptable price) and we are so pleased we gave the work to them. Every thing was done with great care, they instructed their scaffolders to take care, and they instructed the skips to be placed on the road. The roofing work was done meticulously and without any disruption to our property even though they were replacing the roof. When looking for someone to do a simple job like fixing a slipped tile, you don't want hassle, uncertainty or complexity. Iain responded promptly with a quote, was clear that the timing was a little uncertain but kept me informed of his schedule without having to be asked, and then did the work charging less than his quote. Would definitely use again.
