From start to finish Iain has been brilliant. He accurately identified the leaks from my chimneys and did the work as soon as possible. His team who undertook the work were very professional and made sure that they cleared up the materials at the end of the day. Iain ensured that he informed me of the time they would arrive each day. Iain patiently spent weeks before I ordered from him helping me choose between many options in replacing a Velux window and fitting an electric blind to it. He invested time helping me understand the features of each option and the respective prices. On the day of fitting he realised the blind was wrong and he immediately offered to get the correct one and fit it before charging me a penny for any part of the job. Whilst on our roof he included a small job for my elderly neighbour who had allowed us easy access via his garden which was very helpful to us both. He also made use of my existing controller saving the need for two new controllers. Iain was pleasant to deal with at every stage and clearly wants the best outcome for his customers. I would be delighted to give Iain more business and to recommend him without reservation to anyone I know.

The job was modernisation and replacement of faulty control system of a Velux window. A thorough and careful explanation of the work involved. All interactions were pleasant and helpful. Quotation and invoicing were detailed and accurate. The installation was a quick clean careful job. I can thoroughly recommend Iain and his team for this kind of work.

The roofing work concerned was part of a larger project to rehabilitate a former farm building for commercial storage purpose and the tasks to be done by Forest Park Roofing included replacing rusted metal purlins, installing 60 square meters of anti- con plastisol coated metal roof profile sheets , and fitting foam fillers and barge flashings where required. To avoid slippage of an already tight schedule, their work had to be coordinated carefully with that by other contractors handling the asbestos removal . At the outset of the project the Forest Park team had provided an excellent proposal which defined the materials they would require and the costs and time they expected to need to complete the work. They arrived on time, did a top quality job, and they completed it in the time allowed and at the price agreed at the outset.

Found Forest Park Roofing via Velux approved installers. Previously all other roofers seemed unable to find the problem. The problem was rain water leaking to the bottom of the window. Forest Park Roofing came when they said they would, found the problem and explained how they would fix it. Their quote was realistic for the work involved and the work was completed within the timescale given. Iain and his team were competent, professional and courteous and would be my go to roofers should I have problems in the future.

Iain came to look at our listed building and quickly went on to our roof back and front. He took many photographs and showed them to us. He gave us an estimate, date and a time for the work which was 08:20 on a Friday morning. They arrived at 08:20, erected a tower, and started work on the many, though luckily minor, repairs needed. I took coffee and biscuits out at 10:30, being the time they said they took a break. They had the coffee, ate all the biscuits and said they had finished the job. It was professional, there was no messing, they got on with the job, did all the repairs and were charming and friendly. They said they would come back and refix a rogue piece of guttering, which was nothing to do with the job we had hired them for, and they did so 2 days later at very little cost. The price for the whole job was exactly as the estimate and very reasonable. It is a relief to deal with such a normal and professional company. They answered all my messages quickly.

They removed all tiles, removed degraded under-felt and battens and upgraded insulation to accessible roof areas throughout, and upgraded five Velux roof-lights which had not been properly installed originally. They also fully refurbished the roof and lead-work to a difficult dormer window that had become a favoured nest site for birds. The quotation was competitive but not the lowest and was chosen after recommendation and also confidence in my first meeting with Iain. As an ex CEO of a major construction company I was looking for certainty in outcome on quality, time and budget in that order, and Iain gave me that confidence on first meeting and did not let me down. The work was completed on time and to budget and included some extra works I requested which were completed within the original timespan and at a sensible price. I thought they would be good but they exceeded my expectations by keeping me well informed of progress, weather difficulties and material matters and being very nice people to do business with. Their approach to site cleanliness was excellent. They also impressed me by investing in young people through a roof apprenticeship scheme. All the team were very polite and considerate. Roof work is technically more challenging than people would realise or expect and needs consistent attention to detail by the installers. Iain's team soon demonstrated that I need not worry about any lack of attention to detail in their work. Very impressive.

I have used Forest Park Roofing for a range of jobs over the years. I would not go anywhere else if I could help it. Communication is good. It helps to get a realistic date from them and to be flexible - weather means things have to be rescheduled sometimes. I have total trust in their professionalism. Work is carried out in a no-nonsense fashion with maximum care and they are easy to have around. They worked to the quote which seemed reasonable for the jobs undertaken. I would recommend with no hesitation.

Having lived more than 40 years in the New Forest we have found Forest Park Roofing the best in the business and would never go elsewhere. Last week they spent two days erecting a tower, fixing gutter leaks, replacing slipped tiles, and putting in two new downpipes which had been in place since 1865. Iain and Chris have always delivered on time and within budget, doing a very skilled job, and always offering that little bit extra. The estimate was detailed and comprehensive. They installed a Velux window in a very tricky space expertly, efficiently and quickly. All communications were excellent.
