Friendly Water

Outstanding service from initial enquiry about my 13 year old water Softner which had stopped working to installing a new water Softner. Friendly Water initially came out to see if my old Softner was repairable which unfortunately it wasn’t. One of the first things that I noticed was how clean their van was and how smart both the gentleman looked. Peter explained to me exactly why it had stopped working as due to it’s age/model unfortunately it couldn’t be repaired. He then asked if I would like a quote for the installation of a new Softner. No hard sell, he just gave me all the information and let me know what choices I had. He had brochures and a very clear and easy to understand price list. We decided that we definitely wanted a new Softner so I phoned the office a couple of days later to order and arrange an installation date. The ladies in the office were extremely helpful had my paperwork to hand and offered me a few different dates. I chose one to suit. Jim came to fit the Softner today. He turned up on time and like all the other Friendly Water staff he was knowledgeable, professional and friendly, he did a fantastic job of fitting the Softner and checking everything worked. Exceptionally tidy. You wouldn’t have known he had been in my utility room. I was given a pack with all the Softner information. The cost was exactly as I had been quoted (no hidden surprises) and I also had the call out fee for the initial visit deducted from my final invoice.

The initial visit was informative and friendly. The installation was very professional and the results are excellent. Highly recommended.

The work done was the installation of a water softener and a drinking water filtration system, and all associated plumbing. The company's customer service is excellent, confirming appointments the day before and arriving on time. The quality of work was excellent, being completed in the time specified and in line with the quotation. Everything was left in full working order and the operation was fully and clearly explained. They listened to and implemented a couple of small requests I had without any issues. At the end everything was left clean and tidy. I would recommend the company for this kind of work.

From initial contact to site survey and installation, Friendly Water had a professional, 'can-do' attitude. Chris Brown (who completed the site survey) has excellent industry knowledge and thought of all possible problems and solutions that the homeowner would not be aware of, also answering my many questions and re-visiting the property as required. The installation team obviously have great experience in the field and worked extremely hard to complete in one day, again seeing only solutions and work-arounds. Any call to the office is indeed dealt with in a friendly manner and there is absolutely no pressure selling.

Decided to have a water softener installed and had 3 companies to quote. After reviewing the 4 types of softener offered it seemed to me that the Hague, which although more expensive, had the edge over the others. Friendly Water were the most expensive but they were the only company who would install the equipment where I wanted it. On the day of the installation the installer arrived within 15 minutes of the given time and made a good job of the installation. He checked on the details of location, cleaned up nicely and was done and dusted in 3.5 hours. Nice job and noticed the effect of the softener almost straight away. Thank you.
