The team at Lomers were great, very professional and efficient. They packed up our house contents and kept it in storage for 10 months in West Sussex. They brought it all down to our new home in Devon and weren't at all phased by the very restricted access, they took it in their stride. Most importantly, everything was in good condition even after 10 months of storage - I have heard stories about mould and damp from other companies. Can't rate them highly enough.

Lomers Removal provided an absolutely excellent service - the three men who carried out my move where kind, efficient and helpful – everything you could possibly ask for and more.

G A Lomers were absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. They were helpful with the initial booking and the quote for moving was both accurate and competitive. Two men arrived on the Thursday and started packing consulting as to which room we would like them to start. They worked hard and efficient but were friendly putting us at ease. They returned on the Friday and continued packing of furniture talking to us jovially relaxing us. Nothing was too much trouble. They somehow stopped us thinking of the stress we felt about down sizing telling us of all the positives we would experience. We met them at our new home and again they unloaded putting us at our ease. I would definitely recommend Lomers as their men are so efficent and considerate as are the office staff and helped us over what could have been a stressful time.

We decided to use Lomers for our recent move because they were a local company. Have no regrets. They came in to do all the packing one day and it was done in no time. We have done a few moves in the last 10 years and I have never seen anyone packing up a house so quickly. The guys were brilliant. Polite, considerate and easy to get on with. Lomers Removals took on my relocation and storage needs at very short notice. They gave me a clear and reasonable quote. Both the packing and initial move and then ( 6 months later) the relocation were managed carefully and professionally by kind and friendly staff. The storage administration and billing was also prompt and efficient with no nasty surprises. My furniture and possessions emerged clean and dry from storage with no damage done. Lomers were so helpful from our initial enquiry right through to their arrival at our new address, even when plans changed part way through. They took care and attention in packing our possessions and moving them over 150 miles away. They arrived the next day to unload at the time they stated. The crew were professional and friendly throughout and the office staff very helpful and friendly as well.

The team worked hard and made sure the move was as smooth as it could be. We split the move over two sections - and this caused a bit of an issue at the start, as it looked like the video estimate had miscalculated the volume of the first part of the move. Impressively, Lomer were able to react quickly on-site and brought more removal guys in on the day, and the job was done. Would recommend - good value compared to other quotes and were a good bunch of people to deal with.

This was our first move after having lived in our previous house for 35 years and we were therefore quite anxious about what was involved. However, from the moment we met Anna when she visited us to assess the task until the final box was delivered to our new home we had confidence in the service Lomers offered. The whole operation was very professional and thoughtfully planned to make it as stress-free as is possible in the circumstances. The guys who carried out the removal worked incredibly hard and were polite and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lomers.

This is the 2nd time I have used Lomer's and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. The lads are unfailingly helpful and judging by moving charges from other firms I consider they offer great value for money. I shall be moving to Yorkshire early next year and will look no further than Lomer's to handle all the arrangements.

We used Lomers to move the contents of one house in Steyning to another, putting some of the contents into store. we had the full packing service and it was a 2 day move. At all times the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. I did feel that having another extra person in the team on the second day would have been advantageous, as the 2 men had to work extremely hard to meet the deadlines which occur in a move. Having said that the men remained cheerful and calm and did not cut corners to complete the work. The office staff were very good as well. We were completely satisfied with the whole service

Excellent service throughout the process. A simple, swift valuation, friendly and helpful customer service, efficient and friendly crew who worked hard and went out of their way to do a good job, and empty boxes collected as promised. They had the challenge of removing a grand piano by crane from the balcony of a first floor, and managed it very capably. We have moved ten times, and this is the best removals company we have used.

Called Lomers on 15th having advised them a week or so earlier of an upcoming small removal job and me then wanting a quick removal. I was advised it could take up to four weeks but then was told later that day that they could do the job the following day with some re-arranging. This was excellent service. The men arrived having called me beforehand and the job was handled carefully and effectively. I could not have asked for better. Thank you!

We had a great team of men working to move us over three days. They were cheerful, professional and quick. They didn't complain about the many floors to the previous house or our new house. The GA Lomer team moved us out of our existing property over a 3 day period. The staff were always friendly and helpful - they couldn't do enough for us. Moving is always stressful and the Lomer team helped reduce our stress!

Provided a convenient over the phone video call base quote, answered any questions I had promptly. Provided boxes for packing (self pick-up). Move out and in was quick and problem free, including some very heavy shelves. Driver dealt well with an awkward driveway.

We had a tricky, long distance and lengthy move but the team at GA Lomer we’re always there to support us. Then it all happened so quickly that from the day we knew to move, to the move out date being only a week, GA Lomer’s got us in the book. The guys worked really well. We packed ourselves and did a decent job. No breakages at all and they didn’t rush us during the unload, to decide what was going where etc. If it was an option, I’d go to them again.

G A Lomer moved our house and the overall experience was excellent. They are very helpful and considerate. Everything was moved well (no breakages), quickly and they were flexible. Our move wasn't straightforward as most of our belongings went into storage and some went to a new house. They managed it well and everything ended up where it needed to be.

I recently moved from a house to a 9th floor apartment. The team who moved my possessions were first rate and nothing was too much trouble. They worked professionally and were clearly very knowledgeable. Despite construction work still in progress in certain areas of the building I was moving to they still completed the move in a professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend Lomer's.

In general, the teams worked hard and completed the work on schedule. DAY-1 of the move out was efficient and not pressured. DAY-2 was more hectic and rushed as they seemed to want to finish shortly after mid-day. Consequently, they did not remove a few items - the downstairs cloakroom was never checked; a draw-full of cutlery was left in the kitchen; plus several oven dishes and trays left in the oven. They also left a large number of sheets of packing paper on the kitchen table. So, it was a poor finish to a job that had otherwise been done well. On 30 November I was finally given a Completion date of 4 December and when I called G A Lomer they said 16 December was their first available date. They do not have the flexibility to change teams to take-on more work, probably because of their limited size, but they were able to offer me a Saturday move if I was willing to pay an additional “overtime” fee. I was happy that they could provide this solution, but I hope that all the additional money I paid went to the workers. The team of 4 worked hard and completed a lot of heavy lifting in about 4 hours. In general, they did a good job, but everything came into the house too rapidly, so I was not able to give directions for many boxes and some items. They unpacked most of the boxes they had packed but not all of them and a few items in wrong places. So, basically, a good team of hard-workers, but it felt a bit hectic and pressurised.

Reasonably priced, with capable, hard-working, and really friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble, and we are so grateful for everything they did. We used Lomers 11 years ago, happily used them again now, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Lomers moved us from Surrey to Devon. It was a big move, requiring two large vehicles. Lomers did the packing for us over three days prior to the move and then completed the delivery in two days, including the drive to the West Country. They were calm, efficient and helpful throughout and made it the least stressful house move of three we have experienced. We have spotted just three very minor bits of damage which occurred in transit. Nothing to worry about. They were amongst the cheapest of the BAR removers who quoted for us, were available when we needed them (whereas others weren't because our sale completed at such a busy time of year) and more than lived up to the recommendation of a friend who had used them twice previously.

G.A Lomer provided us with a five star service for a three day move from Guildford to Norfolk. We could not have been more pleased. Everyone involved was unfailingly professional, friendly, polite and helpful.

We had another mover booked for our home move, who pulled out a week before the move. They recommended G A Lomer and sons. The quote was a lot more expensive than we were expected (over 2k for a 3-bed semi and garden shed and office, we’d paid £1,200 previously to move in), but we were tight on time and no one else we’d been recommended had availability. We asked for a discount and got it just under 2k, but still pricy. It seemed worth it though as they looked like a high end company and said they would collect boxes after - no caveats mentioned but I’m sure it was buried in the small print. The move itself was good - big vans, three friendly chaps each day and the move went smoothly. When I emailed to ask about getting the boxes collected, they didn’t reply for over a week. We needed them collecting to get more furniture delivered. I chased again after a week and was told thet didn’t have another available to collect the boxes and this service wasn’t guaranteed, that if I left them outside I would be charged for them and I could always return them myself (nearly an hours drive away and I’d need a van!). I replied saying this wasn’t great service and that I needed the space and I’ve not yet had a reply. Nearly 2k paid and that doesn’t cover the cost of the already used boxes. In short, the guys doing the move are great but the team behind them are only interested in taking your money - after that, they don’t care!

Professional, excellent team, all packing and furniture move securely and safely. Nothing too much trouble, highly recommended

We used GA Lomer & Son Ltd for our house move, from start to finish and fantastic experience made especially easy by them. On the move day 3, very smartly dressed gentlemen turned up on the morning and were extremely polite. They worked extremely hard and loaded the whole van in what seemed no time at all. When we arrived at our new house the van was waiting for us, they couldn’t have been more helpful, completely considerate about the new house and new carpets. Nothing seemed too much trouble, they were even happy to move boxes from room to room if we made a mistake. I genuinely couldn’t rate them high enough. If we ever moved again we would definitely only use GA Lomer & Son Ltd. I would recommend them to anyone who want a fantastic service and a stress free move. They even came to collect the boxes once we had unpacked.

The title says it all. The two men who came to clear a relatives flat were efficient and friendly. There was an issue with a large piece of furniture, but they wouldn't be beaten and achieved its removal down the stairs without a scratch.

We used GA Lomer & Son Ltd to move us from Worthing on the South Coast all the way to Nottingham. Darren and his team were absolutely brilliant, we couldn't have wished for anything better. They arrived on time, packed us up carefully and smoothly, we were moved over three days as it was such a distance. They made sure we had what we needed for the first night and then returned early the following day to unpack their truck - they were respectful, attentive and knowledgeable - and great fun to have around for such a stressful move. We moved from Horsham to Wells. Plenty of boxes and packing paper supplied to us. Loaded on Thurs and moved to new property on the Friday. 4 men loaded us - on time, efficient and careful with our belongings. Made sure everything was on board. Left us plenty of time to clean up the house. Met us at new property the next day and unloaded after completion. 2 men managed this by early evening which meant they didn't have to sleep in the van overnight and complete on the next day which they had allowed for. No problems at all.

The crew turned up on time and were very friendly but efficient. They were also very sympathetic with my mum who is 83 and was moving from the family home to a retirement apartment. They were very careful and there was no damage to either properties or the goods moved. Very reasonably priced for the service provided, would recommend them to anyone

We would thoroughly recommend this firm for their diligence, good humour and attention to customers' needs. A move from Guildford to Oxfordshire was very stressful in the days leading up to it but, from the moment these guys appeared, the stress levels fell dramatically. They accomplished everything we wanted cheerfully and willingly. And they were about 33% cheaper than the other quotes we had!
