This firm replaced a shattered DG unit in a patio door and three failed DG windows with made-to-measure units. There was some delay due to sickness but the young installation team were helpful, courteous and did a really professional job. Highly recommended.

I hired George due to glowing references here and would do it again. His communication, work ethic and attention to details is second to none. I had a new door installed by him. He delivered on all the requirements, kept me up to date, met all the time lines and was ever so responsive. I can not praise him enough and would fully recommend him.

George and the team have been exceptional from start to finish. When I first saw all the five-star reviews on Which? and other websites I was a little sceptical, but I'm glad to say that I've been happily proved wrong. They're genuinely that good and they've restored my faith in the trades (George, maybe you should go into housebuilding???). Throughout the whole buying and installation process, George has been more than happy to share his knowledge and wisdom and has been incredibly patient with me deliberating over some of the minor details (including several quote changes!). Furthermore, when things haven't quite gone to plan, George has always kept me updated and got them fixed it straight away. He even went above and beyond by putting up wall-mounted post box for me. It's pretty immense customer service and I would not hesitate to use them again (I can certainly see why others have).

George and team were q2uick to respond to answer all queries, inspect the site and give a quote. He kept us updated all along. He and his team were punctual, professional and with an eye to details. Highly recommended!

George and his hard working crew did a great job on 17 windows and two French doors. A friend of ours who is a building inspector was favourably impressed with their methods and work. They were considerate and very professional, the price was great also.

Quite simply George Martindale is one the best traders that we’ve dealt with in over 30 years of home-ownership. I only wish more traders were like him. From quotation to completion he was a pleasure to deal with; his was the best price and a good job was done. I asked lots of questions over several months, including during the work and after. George always answered promptly either in person, on the phone or via e-mail/text, giving good advice. He turned up exactly when he said he would when surveying for the quote and doing the work. George was knowledgeable and thorough. He did everything promised in the time and budget promised. He and his workmen are really nice fellows and it was a pleasure to deal with them. They installed 4 double glazed units. Two months after completion there have been no problems and we are very pleased with the work. George initially pointed out a serious brickwork problem of which we were unaware and which he could have overlooked. He gave us advice so that we didn't spend more on the windows than we needed to. The guys were very professional and neat. They cleaned up after installation and the quality of windows after reinstallation was great. I’m really gutted I didn’t use them in the first place. I can’t recommend GM windows enough.

GM Windows were marginally more expensive than their competitors, but I opted to go with them because the owner George was very passionate about his work and product. He went the extra mile to ensure all queries were responded to, offered alternative options and since I had opted for triple glaze, George even produced a sample of the window pane - non of GM Windows competition offered this level of service prior to getting an order. George and his team were unbelievably conscientious and very meticulous in their work. Everything they worked on was with attention to detail and a great finish. They turned up on time every day and prior to starting work, they laid down floor protection and dust sheets on furniture and cleaned after them on a daily basis. They completed the works on budget and ahead of programme. I cannot speak highly enough of GM Windows and I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. On a personal note, I would like to thank George and his team for making the experience less daunting and allowing me to watch and learn some of your skills!
