About

George Martindale started this Bolton-based double-glazing windows and door replacement business in March 2018. Delivering outstanding work and with a wealth of knowledge to support it. George started in the industry working for his father’s window fitting company, Martindale’s. Having gained immense insights into the best techniques and quality of materials and establishing a solid network of contacts within the trade resulted in George setting up his own business venture.

What started as just George, a van, and word of mouth, is now a business with great reviews. The first apprentice is now one of the top fitters in the region, and the business is continuously expanding. G M Windows & Doors Ltd can install new doors, windows and repair and replace existing ones.

G M fitted two windows and a door for us. We were impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of George in providing a detailed, and very reasonably priced quote. The two fitters, Ryan and Jack, were punctual, hard working and extremely polite and pleasant. We are delighted with the quality of the fittings also, so much so that we have already ordered another 3 windows for the upstairs rooms. We would not hesitate to recommend G M to any friends or family.

George and his team replaced our double glazed windows. He did a thorough job in carefully measuring what we needed and his quote for the work was very reasonable. The work he carried out was to a very high standard and at the end of each day the house was left clean and tidy. He constantly made sure that every window was completely finished to our and his satisfaction. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Martindale.
