Gair Gas Ltd is a family run company with a reputation for quality, service and reliability. We provide a whole range of services to our customers from boiler installations to annual heating cover - protecting our customers from unexpected heating breakdowns 365 days a year. We also have a team of plumbers and electricians that can help with electrical and plumbing problems

We also work with landlords and estate agents providing annual gas safety checks and repairs on all gas appliances. All our engineers are fully qualified Gas Safe registered and Gair Gas is a member of Hampshire County Council's 'Buy with Confidence' scheme.
We are always happy to offer impartial advice to our customers on all aspects of gas heating, from new boilers to radiator sizes and we are now qualified to fit Worcester Solar Hot Water Systems!

Gair in Chandlers Ford installed a new boiler quickly and professionally. £3k less than British Gas and completed within a week. Super friendly family business,would highly recommend.

We discovered we had no heating or hot water and Gair came out the very same morning to fix the problem. The whole process was completely hassle-free and very reasonably priced. From initial conception of the project to work out how to make the outside installation as aesthetic as possible on the house, to receiving quotes and finalisation of install all was very professional and took account of my wish to minimise the exterior trunking required. The install itself was equally professional with Harry and Sam doing a great job on the actual install and Tom doing the electrics. They were on time, kept me informed and always left the site tidy at the end of each day. The interior Air Con units look very neat and unobtrusive and I look forward (desperately!) for some decent weather to properly test the effectiveness of the whole installation. Altogether very satisfied with the work and the whole team at Gair.

My hot water had failed, followed by the central heating. Not funny in January, especially just before a weekend. Tyler came the next day and found the fault relatively quickly. He fixed it without fuss and explained it all very clearly. Wonderful! I received a bill by email a few days later. All done and working again quickly, with no spare parts needed - and the bill was very reasonable.

Gair Gas to the Rescue - Great Work

Thank you to Gair Gas for coming out so quickly to repair our boiler which stopped working during the recent cold spell (ie mid-November). Fortunately, the polite and courteous engineer (Harry) soon identified the problem and had the boiler up and running again within half an hour. Gair very kindly waived the charges as they had only serviced the boiler a couple of weeks ago and the repair required no replacement parts. Thank you, I would highly recommend this company.

Central heating not working. We are on Home Shield. We called and an engineer came within a couple of hours. We were advised that a flush of the system was required. I have health issues and the company quickly loaned me fan heaters which was much appreciated. Jan came the next day and carried out the flush. Heaven - all is now working wonderfully. Thank you Gair for your helpfulness, efficiency and speed to look after me and sort out the problem. Everybody was so helpful and polite.

Plumber arrived in good time for appointment having advised by text he was on his way beforehand. As with all works I have had done by Gair Gas, his staff are competent, helpful and friendly. All labour covered by my monthly plan which is a low price compared to others and has proved to be good value.

Fixing dripping tap

The Mixer tap at our kitchen sink had been dripping for a while. Our central heating boiler, annual service and system is already covered by Gair and they have done various electrical work for us too, always to a consistently high standard. I asked them to look at the tap and they advised that a new hot water 'cassette' valve was required. This was replaced there and then, along with the corresponding valve for the cold water supply to the tap, too, which seemed sensible to me. The work was done quickly, at the time promised by two very pleasant and obviously competent people, and for an extremely reasonable price.

Another good job from Gair Gas

Another good job from Gair Gas. (Disclosure I have a maintenance policy with them and have used them for other jobs previously.) This job was the installation of an outside tap, connecting to the inside cloakroom water source and drilling through the wall. The GG chaps turned up when they said they would, did a good clean job, and tidied up fully. The price was reasonable as well. All in all, difficult to see how it could have been better.

The work included a couple of small jobs (replacement of taps). It's easy to get a quote and organise the work through GAIR. Their plumbers had good availability and came quickly to give a quote and then to complete the work. They worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently. And I was happy with the quality of the work and the fittings that they supplied. I have used GAIR previously on several occasions (for replacing servicing a boiler), and have had a similar good experience.

The engineer arrived at the agreed time. Worked cleanly and efficiently to remove the old boiler and then install a new one (of a different make). Used dust sheets & changed shoes when walking inside the house. Shared information about installation when questions were asked. Would happily have him back again. Work was completed to the agreed quoted prices and in the specified time. We are pleased to recommend Gair Gas - service and workmanship to our friends.
