We discovered this company through the Which Trust Traders website and were so glad we did. An old garage door at my father's address kept blowing open. I visited the showroom and explained the situation. They showed me some older garage doors and explained what the problem could be so that I could try to solve it without any cost. I couldn't solve the problem so requested a service visit. The fitter (Chris) came and quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested that it may be better to consider a new door since the repair would be quite costly and it may be better to invest in a new one (there was no hard sell, just honest advice). I visited the showroom again and they came up with some options and explained what they thought most cost effective. A new door was fitted and works perfectly. I cannot recommend this company too highly - they are extremely helpful, experience and really know their stuff. Also, they genuinely want to find the best solution for you as the customer. If I ever needed any other work on a garage door, or a new one, this would be the company I would use every time.

Looked around for a garage door supplier and after looking at reviews called Garage Doors Lancashire. Martin came round to measure up and gave some very good advice which we took regarding the finish of the door (very good advice ). Placed the order immediately, the door (which was a custom door and very large) was delivered to time and was fitted shortly afterwards. The fitters were brilliant the fit of the door was excellent and the guys were very pleasant and efficient. Couldn't have asked for a better installation. I have no reservations about recommending Garage Doors Lancashire and if I ever wanted a garage door on another property I would not even look at anyone else. Wish all companies were as efficient and plaesant to deal with.

Decided to replace two single garage doors with one electric sectional double garage door. Visited Garage Doors Lancashire showroom and had excellent advice. Martin from Garage Doors Lancs (GDL) who was very helpful and knowledgeable visited my house for a site visit and subsequent quote. I Needed the central brick pillar between the existing garage doors removed and a new steel RSJ fitted which was done extremely well by Rob Cuthbert an independent builder who liaises with GDL. The RSJ was inserted and the electric sectional garage door all fitted in a single day. Fitters Paul and Steve from GDL were excellent and very neat and tidy installing the electric sectional garage door. Can strongly recommend Garage Doors Lancashire and builder Rob Cuthbert without any reservations.

GDL installed a double width up and over Hormann garage door for me in 2020. From start to finish the service was first class. The showroom has several types of door on display and the lady was willing to answer all my questions and offer advice on the best type to buy, with no pressure. This was followed up by a visit to measure the garage, and then another to install the door a few weeks later. The door took about two hours to install and the old one was taken away. The quality of workmanship was excellent throughout. The door has been 100% reliable and after two and a half years looks as good as new. GDL have just been back to service the door for the first time, and again everything was first class. GDL offered a good discount on the door. I can't think of any reason to go anywhere else to buy a garage door!

We had our single sectional automatic garage door installed by Garage Doors Lancashire 2 years previously into a new build garage and were delighted with the service. They were very helpful in getting the right door for us, tried to ensure we only spent what we needed, and were competitive on price as well as being pleasant to deal with. The installation was quick and hassle-free and they discussed all options with us while they were installing given we were working in the garage to install other fittings which could be impacted. We have just had the door serviced by them after 2 years although it was given us no trouble at all. Again, service was excellent and the engineer helpful and friendly. I would use again and recommend.

I have a very high attention to detail, but Garage Doors Lancashire were able to meet my standards and I am so happy! From the very start of the process Martin came to visit our home and created the perfect specification for us, with clear communication. Gail politely insisted that I visit the showroom and see the different colours and materials, which was very good advice from Gail, and I'm really glad that I did as it made the decision making so much easier / clearer. In fact, I visited the showroom twice in the end, as the team accommodated me a second time to make the final decision. Martin worked with me to find the best possible deal available, and I really appreciate this and I'm very happy with the overall value that I received. The installation was done in a very clean and tidy way, and I am so happy with the look and feel of the doors. After the installation was completed, and some other works were completed by other tradespeople, I emailed Martin to ask if they could possibly take on some final finishing details work on the inside of the garage, using plastic trimming. This was very complex and needed a high attention to detail, but the team did a superb job and I could not be any happier with the end result - thank you so much!

We visited the showroom to view the different garage door styles and Gail demonstrated the best suitable doors that we could choose and her expert knowledge advised us to what we had fitted. After a home visit for measurement and 3 weeks later a fitment day came and the team arrived on time removed the old door and fitted a Hormann electric garage door. They worked quickly and tidily finished on time and gave us a demonstration on how it worked. I highly recommend this company on a very professional job done.

Despite supply problems created by Covid this company satisfied all our requirements. At the time of the initial quotation we were facing a lead time of circa 6 weeks or more. However the estimator went the extra mile. He personally checked the stockrooms and found a cancelled order that met our specification, So we saved at least 3 weeks. The product price was very attractive so we went ahead with the deal. The doors were fitted today and they look great. The fitters were on time; very hardworking; tidy and polite. Having just experienced the trauma of moving home it was a delight to have a job go so well. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

My automatic garage door, which was originally fitted in 2008, developed a most unusual fault this year so I rang Garage Doors Lancashire to ask for help. All the staff, Gaile and Martin in particular, were exceedingly helpful! Gaile initially talked me through some self-help measures over the phone in case a remedy could be found without incurring costs, call-out fees etc. The fault however, proved most unusual and so Martin came to visit, serviced the door and went to great lengths to correct the fault on the motor. When this proved impossible, he fitted a new head (motor) and ensured that all was well. Garage Doors Lancashire did everything and more to ensure the cost to me was kept to an absolute minimum and I am very grateful to all the staff for their help, courtesy and professionalism. I am seriously impressed by the service and courtesy shown to me and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company to anyone.

Following our visit to the Garage Doors showroom and following the invaluable professional advice given by friendly and personable staff, we arranged for installation of a sectional door unit. The fitters arrived promptly on the date and time arranged, working quickly and cleanly despite increasingly adverse weather conditions. On completion they took time to explain the operation of the door and left a maintenance leaflet for our information. The icing on the cake was seeing the old doors disappear on the trailer with a gleaming white replacement - what a transformation! From our initial visit to the well-appointed showroom and through to final fitting, the service given has been nothing but First-Class. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this excellent Company.

Paul and Ste came yesterday (9/6/16) and fitted a new garage doors of German design & construction. From the initial survey through to the finished installation we had had excellent service. The fitters were extremely competent and very professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering replacing their garage doors!!

Garage doors Lancashire fitted my Hormann garage door approximately 20 Years ago now. They did a fantastic job then and the garage door was of very high quality. I still have the same door now, which is still very good, but I needed a repair to one of the steel garage door cable and runners on the door. As Garage doors Lancashire also do repairs to doors, I contacted them BY telephone and arranged a repair with the very helpful member of staff I spoke to. The repair was soon carried out by their door fitter/repairer, and credit where credit is due, he did a first rate repair, he was also was very friendly and helpful, and most importantly knew what he was doing and was very professional in his work. The door is as good as new again ( Well almost !) The price was very reasonable, so taking all things into account I have to give them 10/10. Many thanks to all the staff concerned !
