I recently hired Garden City Paving to replace the steps at the back of my house. From start to finish, they were great to work with to deal with. Mark responded quickly to my initial inquiry and provided clear communication throughout the project, which was very reassuring. The team worked hard and efficiently, completing all the work in just a few days. The job involved lifting and setting aside the existing slabs, removing old brickwork, and laying new foundations for the steps. They installed new brickwork and carefully re-bedded the sandstone slabs in a way that retained the design of the wider patio, then finished off with resin jointing. Throughout the process, they kept the site neat and tidy and cleaned up thoroughly after the work was done. Overall, I am very happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Garden City Paving to anyone. I would certainly use them again for any future projects.

From start to finish, Mark and his team have been professional, hard working and friendly. I’ve had a complete garden makeover with removal of trees/shrubs, ground levelled out, new patio area and fencing moved. I had been advised by a friend to use this company for my new patio, very pleased I had!! The quality and finish has by far exceeded my expectations, the attention to detail was outstanding, to see all the work completed over 3 days and see the way it was prepped before the work started and then the different stages of the job such as levelling, membrane, hardcore , cement, paving and block laying, all what was done would last a lifetime, the team who did the work were very professional & friendly and really knew their stuff,

Great patio for a fair price. Quality materials and great quality of work on a large patio that makes a massive impact on the garden. On time and to agreed price, and worked every day. often through inclement weather. Provided valuable advice on design and materials, and engaged with discussion on all details before and during the build. Careful working practice to ensure no impact on surrounding garden, and whole area left clean on completion. Wonderful job, and happy to recommend without reservation.

Mark and the boys did a great job replacing our old patio and pathway, and digging out a soakaway for our conservatory. We are very pleased with the outcome. Garden City Paving were very nice people to deal with and had a professional approach to their work. The bill was exactly in line with the estimate which was provided following an initial survey. The standard of their work was first class and they left everything very tidy when finished. We would have no hesitation in recommending Garden City Paving.

I hired Mark and his team to turn my large back and tiny front garden from empty mud into practical usable spaces, giving them a drawing of what I was after, and they excelled at turning that into a reality. In the back, they arranged for removal of an old asbestos shed and dug out the ground before laying: a large porcelain patio and pathways; a new turf lawn and flower beds; gravel drainage, a concrete base for a future end garden office and an armoured cable. They boxed in conifer trees with railway sleepers creating another bed, and built a series of metal arches to enable flowers to be trained across the width of the garden. In the front garden, they laid more porcelain paving and cobblestone edging and created another small flower bed. I am delighted with the results and with the top service provided. The team were great from day one of first contact, right to the end. They were: punctual about arrival and end times each day; tidy about their work and tidying up at the end of the job; respectful of my space and working on my property. They demonstrated a meticulous attention to detail when measuring out and fitting every part of the garden. They were always friendly, communicative, grateful for a cup of coffee, happy to answer any questions without making me feel like I was wasting their time, and offered great suggestions on alternative ways to approach points I hadn't quite thought through. All in all - highly recommended!

Mark and the team have just completed a new porcelain patio for us and were great from start to finish. The bad weather has been against them but they completed on schedule, have kept the work area clean and tidy despite the rain and waterlogged garden and the end result looks amazing. I need my driveway done in future and will be using Garden City Paving for the work so have no problem recommending them to anyone.

Mark, Tony and Darren of Garden City Paving carried out a variety of jobs for me including widening an existing front driveway, removing lawn and replacing with shingle parking space and some fencing. They also investigated and resolved some soakaway/drainage problems. I really appreciated their professional approach, attention to detail and high quality with no short cuts. Good communication throughout and happy to accept some of my additional requests and make their own suggestions as the job progressed. The end result was excellent and I thoroughly recommend them.

Work done on time and to agreed budget with a high degree of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend. They built a new porcelain patio and steps plus a new paved driveway.
