Gas Line has been carrying out plumbing and heating work in the Lancashire area for over twenty years and has developed a strong reputation for providing reliable, professional service at affordable prices.

We undertake all aspects of heating and plumbing work, from carrying out the smallest of repairs to entire boiler and heating system installations. We work for individual residential clients, property managers and estate agents.

All customers can be rest assured that Gas Line is a Which? Trusted Trader, Gas Safe registered, and fully insured. We are also approved Baxi/Main installers and our boiler installs come with warranties between 5 to 10 years (terms and conditions apply). We are particularly skilled in diagnosing and repairing boiler problems.

I contacted Gasline in order to replace my old boiler. They were highly professional in their dealings with me. They were knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. The removal of my old boiler and its replacement were done in a timely manner. This included cleaning up after the installation, checking my radiator system, and explaining how I could get the best out of it through appropriate balancing. All of this was done in a very friendly manner including a call the next day to check I was happy with the work that they had carried out. Finally, I was told that I could call them any time in future should I have any questions or concerns. All in all this was an exceptional service.

I had a leak from the bathroom down to my dining area and I contacted Gas Line. The call was answered promptly and attended to my leak very quickly and efficiently. Explanation was given regarding the leak and the options available, he went through in detail and recommended best option to ensure minimum damage work to my ceiling and to avoid having to remove bathroom floor tiles (which had been recommended by another plumber). Gas Line explained everything to me prior to fixing the leak. Very confident and reassuring re fixing the leak. Gas Line very polite and ensured that dust sheets laid down in my dining room. Very clean, efficient , polite and extremely professional in fixing the leak. It was a relief to me that no bathroom tiles were taken off and he was able to fix quickly , efficiently and promptly. After fixing he made sure dining area cleaned up and his attention to minor detail is brilliant.

We had a few plumbing jobs to be fixed and were struggling to find someone to come out. Rang Sal who came round more or less immediately. He saw what the problem with the shower was and told me to get a part from a local hardware store; something I could do myself. And then sorted out a leaking tap. It was a great service, done quickly and without any fuss and amazingly good value. Highly recommended.

I had a gas safety inspection today. Only enquired yesterday. Sal was prompt and efficient and explained everything to me. He didn’t try to upsell, I have an 18 year old boiler so it would have been quite easy to recommend a new one. I can highly recommend this company.

I've just bought my first house (and it needs a fair amount doing!). Sal (and a colleague) were in and out of my house in a day - it was an amazing turnaround. I had a new boiler put in, the heating system cleaned through, a radiator relocated. Both men were incredibly polite, and helpful, and I couldn't have been in better hands. I'll definitely be back in touch with Gas Line when I want to get the bathroom done.

Had a new boiler installed with Gasline and it was a smooth operation from start to finish. Their extensive knowledge and experience is evident as they provided a thorough explanation of my system, the new boiler and how to get the best use out of it. Called gas line due to a suspected issue with a central heating pump. Spent time explaining to me how the system works and advised that he wouldn't recommend any work be carried out as just symptoms of an older system. Really appreciate the advice and fantastic to see a tradesman not try to say work needed to be carried out when it didn't.

Mr Salim and his team replaced our boiler on arrival he gave a time estimate and told us what we would need to prepare and where he would need access to (Covid-19 restrictions). They completed the installation within the time he gave us and tidied up after completing the work before finally explaining what they had done and showing the test results for the system. I was very satisfied with his work and helpful attitude.

I highly recommend Salim and Gas Line, he is incredibly professional, polite and is very passionate about the work he undertakes. Salim recently installed a brand new boiler with a 10 year warranty in my home after my old one failed. At every stage of the installation he ensured I was informed and updated about progress and passed on lots of helpful advice about my new system, it’s maintenance and ways to make it more cost effective. My installation included moving the boiler from a back bedroom into the loft. Salim ensured that all the options were presented to me before work began and explained everything in detail so I could make an informed decision.

Time waster - poor communication
I contacted Gas-Line to give a quote for several jobs - new toilet, fitting a power shower, fitting a mop sink and inspecting the central heating and hot water boiler and system. Two weeks later I haven't heard. The firm have my email and phone number so no excuse for not getting in touch. The work is for a 77 year old invalid who desperately needs an operational shower as the last one has completely burnt out. We're back to square one looking for another plumber now. If he couldn't do, or didn't to undertake the required work he should have said so at the time and we'd have been able to start looking for another tradesman sooner rather than later. Very disappointed. I'd chosen this tradesman specifically because of good reviews on this site.

Completely had my faith restored in plumbers, what a wonderful gentleman. Sal came highly recommended to us and I can certainly see why. We needed a leaking pipe replacing and Sal was fantastic. He is very professional, polite, informative and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work and is so friendly. He chatted and gave us lots of advice and was very helpful. Will 100% be recommending him to anyone that needs a plumber and we have told him we will be seeing him annually from now on to have our boiler serviced. Only sad we didn't know him when we were getting a new boiler last year but made up that we have met him now. Thank you Sal you're a true gent.

Can't recommend Sal enough. He came out on a Sunday evening and fixed a leaking pipe, diagnosed a fault on my boiler and came back to repair it very quickly. Great communication throughout. He was here for at least 4 hours in total but only charged me 1 hour labour. Such a nice bloke too.
