The ordering, fitting and aftercare were seamless throughout. The fitters carried out the fitting in a clean and professional manner. Would highly recommend this company.

We are very happy with the new windows installed by Gavin& Wright Windows in our house this summer. Joe quickly provided a competitive estimate for the work and went above and beyond to accommodate our specific requirements. His colleagues who installed the windows were efficient and tidy. Gavin & Wright recently fitted new patio doors for us. They were very professional when discussing the various options, offering advice on finish, style and whether opening in or out was the best option for us. The price was very competitive. We were given plenty of notice before installation. The team arrived on time, fitted the doors, removed all rubbish and tidied up before leaving. Absolutely delighted with our new doors.

We called Gavin & Wright windows after seeing a sign in their window stating they did lock repairs. Despite our front door being over 20 years old and the door mechanisms no longer in production. Joe persevered and managed to trace down compatible parts. He managed to replace the lock mechanism the handles and the broken letterbox making our old door look like new. Trustworthy too, I accidentally overpaid by £20 and he called as soon as he realised and returned the money the next day. Would highly recommend.

Joe came out to give us a quote for 8 new windows and gave us good advice on the windows and surrounds. Competitive price and no pressure to buy . Excellent process to book fitting and the two fitters Eddie and Willie were excellent. Came when they said and work completed on time . Worked continuously and tidied up everything . Joe provided a really detailed fair quote with recommendations from his own expertise. Being a local business they were able to recommend based on multiple neighbours jobs. Communication great throughout. No issues fitting, guys that came were great. Finish looks excellent and a real upgrade. Always felt in good hands and very happy with our 8 new windows.

End-to-end very happy with the process and final result. Helpful advice up front in terms of my budget / what I needed and was left to make my own decision under no pressure. Business is owner-operated and has been for a (long) number of years and has insurance-backed warranties, which gave me confidence to buy. The two fitters, Eddie and William, have been with the company for a good number of years and were brilliant. Very accommodating and got on with the job. Neighbours even commented on them positively. Left the flat in good condition after and made a particularly good job of the bathroom window which was set in and fully tiled - no damage at all. Was recommended by a neighbour and several other flats in the block have also had windows through the guys. Price was pretty reasonable for the scale of the job and beat several other quotes. Would strongly recommend.

We had previously used Gavin & Wright to replace the existing back windows and the back door. We invited Joe Wright to quote for replacement front windows and front door. For the door Joe Wright took into account the style of the existing door (original to the house) and the wooden panel surroundings of the hall. We were delighted with the option he showed us. The gentleman who installed it was excellent. We were keen to keep the original colouring of black and white windows at the front of the house and were provided with an example of these which have now been installed. Joe Wright was at all times sympathetic to our thoughts and to the local area. The installers made the minimum of mess and tidied up. We felt that the pricing for the work was reasonable. We would have no hesitation recommending Gavin and Wright.

Used Gavin & Wright after recommendations from a couple of people. Joe came out when he said he would, and was great at offering help and advice on what we needed / wanted. Did not over sell, and in fact told us there were windows that didn’t need replacing in our property. Work was carried out when stated. The door was bespoke so we had not actually seen it until it was fitted. Both the windows and doors exceeded our expectations. Very impressed and would recommend / use again in the future.

From obtaining quote to completing the job, I cannot recommend Joe and his team, Eddie and Willie enough. Joe provided plenty information on his service and products and gave great advice when we were choosing the windows and door. Competitive quote was received quickly with no pressure on buying. Eddie and Willie arrived on time and got the job done well within the time allocated and to a high standard. The boys were so helpful, could not do enough for us. We were really pleased with the standard of work completed. Joe visited initially to give advice and measure windows. This was invaluable as he was able to describe the type of window we would require and was able to match it up with our original windows. The work was completed when he said it would. Prices were very competitive. We had three windows replaced plus a pane of glass replaced. Joe's colleagues who changed the windows on the day were very efficient and courteous. They worked quickly and tidied up after their work. They were friendly and cheerful and we're respectful of our property. The windows themselves look good and my daughter has commented on how much they have reduced the noise level in her room. Now she can work in silence and feels her room is much warmer.

Gavin and Wright done a fantastic job preserving our old stained glass into new pvc units. We got them back to fit a composite front door which was excellent and reasonably priced.

I have used Gavin & Wright to fit new windows before so I had no reservations in using them again on this red sandstone property in the West End of Glasgow. Being in a Conservation Area, it was important to match the existing sash and case windows as closely as possible to comply with the design guidance of the City Council Planning Department. This was achieved effortlessly with their sliding sash windows which look amazing and retain the existing character of the property and neighbourhood. Not only do the windows look great but they are so easy to operate, are thermally efficient and highly secure. The site team carefully removed and disposed of the old sash windows and installed the new ones within a day and a half. They worked in a neat and tidy manner and cleaned up after them. Another excellent job at an excellent price.

Gavin & Wright were recommended to us by a neighbour. They installed replacement UPVC sliding sash windows which have restored our house to its intended look and have much improved heat loss. The price was very competitive and the process was easy. Joe measured up very quickly and the installers were great, installing in the agreed time and minimising mess and disruption. My experience with Gavin and Wright Windows was fantastic. Initially from the first call for a quote which I was very happy with. Continued communication with updates for the installation date and then installation. The installation was great with the trade staff taking great care when in your home with dust sheets and cleaning up after them. The new widows look fantastic and great quality. I would highly recommend as the service from start to finish was excellent.

Pricing wise they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive from 4 different quotes. But as new windows and doors is such a large purchase and as we had nothing to go on apart from price, we decided to go with Gavin & Wright on the strength of their reviews. A decision that turned out to be a very good one. Service from the outset was excellent. We were given a time and date for the initial measuring and Joe provided some excellent advice and guidance. The installation was carried out as scheduled and the fitters, Eddie and Willie were brilliant. Very tidy, great finished product, with no damage to the surrounding plasterwork, got the job done without any hassle or fuss, and were just two nice guys. We are looking to get more work done in the future and would have no hesitation to use them again or recommend their services to others.

I chose Gavin and Wright to price for replacement windows due to the positive reviews. The good reviews are warranted. Joe Wright has a nice, down-to-earth manner and you quickly realise he knows his stuff. He listened to what we required then he offered his ideas and explained why. We changed to his suggestions as they were more practical (window openings) and an improvement on how they would look (false sashes). There was also no hard sell. We were not replacing all our windows and we were not pressured to do so. Timescales quoted to fit were kept to. The price quoted was competitive and was what we paid - no unexpected charges. The fitters were polite and respectable. Introduced themselves on arrival and confirmed the work they were there to do. The place was covered with dust sheets and the work went ahead. Our job was to replace the windows in 2 rooms (6 windows). The job was completed in one working day. There was no mess or visible signs that the windows had been replaced, no damage to walls or existing papering. The site was totally cleared on completion and, other than lovely new windows, you’d never know the fitters had been there. Quality windows and a quality team that priced and installed them.

We were very satisfied with the speed and efficiency with which the windows were installed. The workmen removed the old windows and cleared up any mess which occurred during installation. We now have a lot more light in our lounge and very happy with this result.
