Thank you for leaving your review, we take all feedback seriously and as you pointed out I personally have worked to resolve all the points raised. With regard to your last points and in respect to the alarm system which was not installed by GCD but by another company some 10 years ago, we were asked to resolve some issues with this alarm by your landlord and via the managing agent. The issues in question were intermittent faults, which our engineer believed to have resolved. However after a couple of days the fault seemed to have returned and after a few further site visits the issue had not been resolved. I then attended with the engineer and instructed him to replace a sensor and change the engineers access code as this had been used, according to the alarm log, when GCD Security had not been present. On carrying out these works, we than had no further issues with the Alarm system. The engineers code is designed for the installers use only and not the tenant as it has access to programming functions and could prevent the alarm from operating correctly if used by untrained persons. Changing of the engineers code was not an issue but we were not prepared to give you, end user the code, we were prepared to make alternative arrangements which were offered to the managing agent including three options to resolve the issue, but two of these options would have sacrificed the warranty on any works carried out on the alarm.
