Matt fitted a cat flap to our upvc door. He was on time, pleasant, helpful and fitted the flap perfectly and quickly, with no mess or hassle. I had sourced Matt's name from many positive Facebook reviews and pleased I did. His pricing was very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again.

Matt fitted four security door locks. He is well organised, punctual and carried out the work professionally while explaining a few technical aspects. He is reliable, knowledgeable and always courteous. Matt has also fitted secure external door locks to our son's house. We will always recommend him to others.

Matt did a great job fitting new handles and a lock to the door despite problems accessing handles compatible with other doors in the house. He made two visits, arrived on time, and carried out the work to my complete satisfaction. He had excellent backup in the office from Emma, who gave regular updates on the handling problem.

From the 1st point of contact with Emma to the work being done it was a great customer service experience. A professional company that replaced a front door handle plus gate lock for me. The products used were excellent and Matt even aligned my gate bolt and lever so the gate was totally secure for me. This was above and beyond what was contracted. Highly recommend and will not hesitate to use again if needed.

We are very pleased with the repair to our Front Door . Matt soon sorted out the problem with the mechanism . He did a good job and it is nice to know we can call him if we get any more problems .

I called Matt early on a Friday morning to ask for assistance with a jammed locked door. Not only was he extremely polite and helpful, he was available to support with my situation by Friday afternoon. He kept me updated for when exactly he would be coming which was appreciated. Matt was professional and courteous when he arrived and was excellent in fixing the door. Even though the job was a bit more complicated than initially expected, Matt did a fantastic job in ensuring that the jam was resolved and the door was sufficiently fixed. If you want a trusted, courteous locksmith to help you out, I could not recommend Matt more.

Following a call back from Matt an agreed time was made to visit the property. Matt called prior as agreed, and arrived promptly. He carried out the work swiftly , talking through my options. Really good value with friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Our six-year-old house was fitted with a premium lock (Ultion) which had caused problems in most of our neighbours' houses, so we asked Matt to fit a replacement as a precaution against possible future failure. Replacement locks from the same manufacturer also appeared to have problems and Matt visited three times in all to make sure a lock was fitted in which he had confidence. Matt's service is prompt, reliable, and inspired confidence, while his costs seemed very reasonable. Unconditionally recommended.

Matt came to fix a door lock where the key wouldn’t turn. Unfortunately this wasn’t straightforward as the system was very old. It couldn’t be replaced but he worked out a solution where the door could be locked thus securing our property. Nice friendly guy, who I would recommend.

My call on a Saturday morning was answered promptly and an appointment made for the following Monday. The problem was a UPVC door with multi-point locking that suddenly would not engage properly and could not be locked. Matt's professional approach meant he could make the right adjustments to allow the locking mechanism to engage and lock. In the same visit he also noticed that the front door needed adjustment which he was also happy to deal with. Matt had a customer friendly approach and was willing to explain how he was correcting the alignment on each door.

Excellent service from Emma in the office and Matt who replaced my broken front door lock. No call-out fee, I was told the likely cost up front, based on my description of the problem. Problem was diagnosed and the lock replaced very quickly.

Once again, Matt came to our rescue almost immediately following a problem locking our door, which I made worse by fiddling with it onr afternoon. He came promptly the next morning, identified the problem amd replaced the faulty/broken handles. He checked the multipoint locking mechanism, and it was ok, so all we had to pay for was the handle set. It was a good job, done quickly, and for a fair price. I'll use Matt again and recommend him to anyone without hesitation....

My front door mortise deadlock had been awkward to unlock for some time and, when one of the keys broke leaving us with just one working key, I knew it was time to finally sort it out. Matt responded very quickly to my initial email and, after I’d sent some photos of the lock, he knew exactly what was required and quickly followed it up with a very reasonable quote. After I’d agreed the work, Emma was helpful in fixing a time for the work to be carried out and Matt came out the next working day. He completed what was an unexpectedly awkward job extremely professionally and with the minimum of fuss. Highly recommended.

Have been having problems our back door not latching, but this morning it wouldn't lock at all. I called Matt at 9.30, and he was here by 11.30. Turns out it was a very simple fix that took him a couple of minutes, and he didn't charge - not even fuel! It's not the first time he's helped us out, but I wouldn't bother with anybody else now. He's our first choice.

Very easy to book an appointment with Matt, at a time which suited us. Matt found the fault and offered us a couple of products with different options. The new lock was fitted quickly, and he cut us two extra keys which we required. Explained the warranty and costs, took credit card which was useful, and Emma sent on an invoice late that day. I recently arranged for Gearing Locksmiths to come and look at a UPVC door that needed repairing. They arrived promptly and proceeded to talk me through the problem as they resolved it. They also explained how other locksmiths would have gone about it resulting in a much higher cost. Since I have come to know, like and trust them over the years via BNI, I have no doubt whatsoever that they were correcting the problem in the most appropriate manner, and for a fair price. They had to venture out to the van on multiple occasions but each time they came back in they removed their footwear, keeping my carpets clean. I was especially impressed by the perfectionist nature – they wouldn’t rest until the door was just right. Indeed, on their way out they couldn’t help but also straighten my front door. Matt is a true professional and a jovial fellow to boot. I will heartily recommend their services to friends and family and naturally will look no further for my own lock and UPVC needs.
