We stumbled onto GEL via our neighbours. We had started a large patio on our own and ground to a halt when it came to picking slabs. My neighbours suggested going to their showrooms to get some ideas and advice. The showroom is exceptional. You can see all the products on display and installed in a variety of designs and colours of grout. Lisa and Adam are incredibly supportive and knowlegeable. I can't thank them enough for the help and support. What we ended up picking is not at all what I thought we would have gone for at the beginning of the project but I am utterly overjoyed with the choice. GEL also has lots of garden furniture on display which can be purchased so it really helps you get a vision of what your outdoor area could look like

I had my garden landscaped to make it more manageable, and the decking replaced with a patio. The work was done in very good time - just under a week. The team stuck to budget, and spoke to me about each stage. I realised very quickly that they were honest and transparent, so I didn't have to worry. Nothing went wrong during the job, but I'm confident that if it had, it would have been resolved. The whole team was great. They were very professional. The paperwork, invoicing and email communications were clear and efficient. Everyone worked really well, and they were very creative to avoid adding unnecessary costs. I trusted them with my house key, and they quietly got on with the job while I was at work. I highly recommend them!

We asked Adam for a quote and suggestions for work needed on our garden. He spent time with us explaining the various options and associated costs and benefits. We really liked the suggestion that we finally opted for, even though this was a much bigger project than we’d originally considered. The end result is we have much more useable space and a more practical garden than we could ever have imagined and we now use this space all the time. The weather conditions last winter were terrible and the team worked hard, albeit the torrential rain and frosts on heavy clay soils meant we opted for additional drainage to prevent future problems. The team were friendly, polite and reliable and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others, or in using them in future. Friends and family have commented on the stunning transformation and we look forward to using our garden for years to come.

Adam and the team from Gel Landscaping and Groundworks did an absolutely fantastic job building our new raised patio. Couldn’t be happier. The first call out was very prompt - Adam understood our requirements and helped us finalise our design and gave advice on which materials to use. The quote was very clear, giving us confidence that we knew exactly what we were paying for and there were no surprise extras. Communication was very good - we received regular updates on material supplies and options. And finally, the quality of the work itself was very high. Very good first impressions, Adam appeared knowledgeable & helped me decide exactly what I wanted to be done to the patio. Communication was excellent throughout by text / phone call / email. The written quotation was accurate & the invoicing clearly explained. The workmen were courteous, hard working & tidy. There was an unfortunate mistake during the work but this was resolved quickly & to my satisfaction. I'm really pleased with the look of the patio now, it's a huge improvement.

Adam and his team carried out a complete transformation of the end of our garden, from a boggy dumping ground to a beautiful patio area. Adam kept me informed every step of the way, and the work was completed in just over a week, despite terrible weather! From the outset Adam was professional and courteous. He gave excellent advice on how to best deliver the driveway we wanted giving tips and improvements. Adam is extemely knowlegable and his team are very skilled, punctual and polite. Communication was vey good keeping us updated of the progress being made ,making sure we were happy with the standard of work and letting us know if the were any issues. Any problems were quickly rectified so the job continued to run smoothley. Adam and his team, removed our tired old patio and replaced it with a stunning porcelain one extending it of a previously lawned area. We had a design in mind, but Adam came up with suggestions to improve the design creating a totally transformed garden. The standard of work is extremely high. All of the hidden groundworks are completed to a very high standard. We had issues with our old patio due to poor groundworks resulting in cracking and areas of standing water. Adam ensured that the new foundations, drainage and slopes were all spot on. Following the success in the back garden Adam refurbished our block paving driveway, which was also suffering subsidence resulting from poor installation years ago. The drive was refurbished with new suitable foundations and retaining walls. Again, design suggestions from Adam regarding installation of a supporting wall made from sleepers containing a new hedge has given us a fantastic contemporary looking finish.
