From the moment I contacted Glasgow Boiler Repairs I was impressed by their friendly manner and efficient service. Angela replied to my emails swiftly. Darren was on time when he came to survey my property and he gave good advice on the type of boiler that would best suit my needs. Brian came and fitted the boiler on the day and time agreed. He did a fantastic job and removed all the waste. I will continue to use them for my annual service.

In brief, I am delighted with the service and was happy to have both Darren and Stewart working in my flat. I recommend them without hesitation. This was not an urgent job to replace an old boiler with a new Worcester boiler, but the job was done within two weeks of first making contact. The quote was lower than I anticipated and I think a good price for the job. They arrived promptly on the day and Stewart who did the installation worked without a break until the job was finished, leaving the place tidy. No tea and biscuits for him - offered but not accepted!! Darren Westwood prepared the quote and came at the beginning and end of the job. Both men were polite and friendly. Stewart tightened a leaky waste pipe in the bathroom and Darren also managed to locate the mains stopcock hidden behind a kitchen unit and made it accessible for me - I was very pleased about the extra services. Excellent service from quotation through to installation - Darren provided 3 quotes - switch from gas boiler to combi electric (flat) - team were efficient, knowledgeable, worked clean & tidy, no hassle or mess, fabulous job carried out by a great team & new boiler installed stress free. Had to have our boiler replaced as it had developed a problem. Phoned in the morning and Darren gave me a quote by that evening for. a very reasonable price. Work was done a few days later.The Engineer arrived promptly at the time agreed to do the work and had the job completed by late afternoon with no mess. Other companies who quoted me asked for 50% of the contract amount paid up front which I felt posed quite a risk. Glasgow Boiler Repairs accepted payment on completion, so no worries. On a service plan with British Gas Homecare who came out and advised new boiler required as parts obsolete for old boiler. Received a like for like quote from Darren at GBR that beat the price by a country mile. New top brand A-rated boiler was up and running a day later. Very tidy pipework, and cleaned up before leaving. Arranged manufacturer guarantee same day. Have already booked him on another job, and I'll be recommending GBR to others as they can't be beaten on price or quality of service.

Called Boiler Repair Man after having our boiler undergo a Gas Safety Check with British Gas. BG had told us that it was producing too many CO2 emissions but wouldn't fix it at the time and told us we would need to call to have them come back. So we called Andy instead... He turned up on time, was incredibly polite and helpful. Showed me exactly what was wrong with it and how he fixed it. No rip off fee either, very reasonable. The most amazing service from these guys after being let down by the UK wide company I was previously with when my boiler broke last week. Less than 24 hours since the first call out they had both sourced and fitted the part required - so friendly, so professional, would recommend 100%! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Another company had recommended me getting a power flush after my central heating system failed. I decided, however, not to use them for this due to their ridiculously high prices and instead went on line to try and find another business. Having done a fairly exhaustive on-line search I finally settled on Glasgow Boiler Repairs having phoned and spoken to Darren the owner. Darren was very professional and the price he quoted was very competitive. The power flush itself was done by one of Darren's team - Jamie. Jamie is a really nice guy - very enthusiastic, keen to explain exactly what he was doing and someone who takes pride in doing a great job. My central heating is now working better than ever thanks to Jamie's work. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these guys - good honest tradesmen.

I contacted Darren for a replacement boiler on the basis of the good reviews on this site. He visited the following day and gave me prices for two different boilers. I opted for a Worcester Bosch boiler and magnetic filter which together give me a 6 year parts and warranty guarantee. The price was excellent and work carried out to a very high standard by heating engineer Jamie. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

I had to get new boiler fitted as an emergency after the old one was de-comissioned. Darren came round the same day, checked out the job and gave by far the best quote. Two days later Jamie came to fit Worcester 30i. All done in 3 hours. I was left with instructions for operating but not enough help to digest. However on a phone call that evening to Darren, Jamie was delegated to come the next day to explain all. So first class marks for fitting, promptness of attention at all times (and they do remember you!)

Thank you Darren and your colleague very much for replacing a new thermostat and a new timer on a new (now only 18 months old) Worcester Boiler which had been inadequately fitted, similarly inferior work at the beginning of the installation by a Registered GasSafe Engineer, the GasSafe Inspector found some faults which had to be rectified to GasSafe standards which Engineer ignored to complete, only when The GasSafe Register became involved he reluctantly corrected. After an appalling experience for the installation of a new Worcester Combi Boiler what a pleasure to get work done willingly and the central heating system working perfectly to my satisfaction. No mess and left spotless. I would have no hesitation in recommending your Company. Thank you both.

I called and spoke with Darren it was a more difficult job than usual and we are not based in Glasgow, but he gave me excellent quote and picked our keys up from our property management.
