I had 3 outdoor lights and a new timer for my heating system. They are professional, tidy and friendly. The cost for the work has always matched their initial quote and they have always managed to come round quite quickly after their quote to carry out the work. I have used them a few times now for different small householder jobs such as new sockets and light switches too. Its nice to find a reliable company who will do small jobs around the house.

Glenfield Electrical have complete a few different jobs for us over the years, and their work is always done to a very high standard, completed on or ahead of time and to budget. From start to finish, we were very impressed with the service that was provided. The quote was thorough and came through quickly and was reasonably priced, considering the lads were here most of the day. They did a great job and spoke to me throughout by explaining what had been done/what they were doing. The lads were friendly and professional and made me feel at ease. We wouldn't hesitate in using this company again, nor recommending them.

We were recommended Glenfield Ltd and they did not disappoint. We moved into our house last September but didn’t realise quite how bad the electrics were. Initially two electricians started the job to totally re wire the house, but they soon realised that the initial estimate of time for the job was optimistic. Following a visit by the owner, there were at least four electricians at all times. The work has been done to a very high standard, with the minimal disruption and the team cleaned up as they went along, we are very happy. The guys were at all times punctual and friendly, with a special mention to Jordan for his efforts to finish the job on time. This was a big job that we feel was also excellent value for money, I would thoroughly recommend Glenfield Electrical.

All sockets switches fitted, as ask plus lighting .Trunking fitted to cover all wiring .New LED batten fitted .The electrician was very helpful ask if the positioning of every thing was to my licking.

Early into the job, we discovered that they were hiding the rubble and debris from socket-chasing under the floor boards rather than disposing of it responsibly. We spent a lot of time clearing this ourselves before asking them not to continue doing this. As part of the original quote, we had not asked them to rewire the supply to the fireplace as it was in good working condition prior to the work undertaken. During the rewire, Glenfield Electrical severed the electric supply to the fireplace. We only discovered this two weeks after we had settled the bill with them. When we asked them to rectify the work, they refused to do this without charge. We are in the process of getting quotes for the remedial work from other companies. A similar situation occurred with the aerial supply to the TV. The aerial was in good working order prior to the rewire(as witnessed by all members of our family)but Glenfield Electrical also messed this up. When we discovered what had happened (also two weeks after settling the bill) they claimed that the aerial could never have been working before the rewire and refused to rectify the problem. We have since had this remedied by another group. Having a home rewired is a stressful experience but having to keep an eye on where the electricians were disposing of rubbish was a needless extra hassle. Similarly, having to send multiple fruitless emails requesting that the team remedy their mistakes just added to the stress and eventual cost.

I have used Glenfield Electrical on a number of occasions, most recently to undertake a number of maintenance and repair tasks. I have always found them to be thorough, polite and friendly. They have have given good advice and always ensured that any work has been fully completed before leaving site, or have returned promptly once materials were available.

I asked for a quote for one item in one room. However, the company choose to poke around my complete house, looking in all rooms and cupboards, removing plug coverings from the wall and not re-securing them correctly. The quote came back with a list of items, mostly not related to my original quote request. It seems this company has lots of free time to look around your house. is looking for extra work by listing un requested items on the quote. All it would have needed was a call during the visit to ask if anything else needed to be looked at. I have made a complaint to the company but was not called back as i was advised would happen, which makes me think this company does not respect its customers. This is not a company i would trust to carry out work in my house without watching them nor respects its customers.

We are very pleased with the work which was completed in a speedy and efficient way. The person was pleasant arrived on time and we will definitely use them again.

I asked them if they would complete another electricians work, I had been let down half way through a job. It was to wire up 2 pir sensors controlling 4 lights with over ride switches and a switch for kitchen lights, it was no problem for them, a price was given, the electrician turned up, sorted out how to connect did the job left it clean and tidy. I would use them again and recommend them, great job done, thank you Glenfield electrical.

I am grateful for another fast response from Glenfield Electrical to a fault that was causing my lighting circuit to trip. The fault was found and dealt with quickly and carefully. The electrician who came was extremely courteous. No messing about the problem was sorted out efficiently thanks again.

Punctuality was impressive. Given start time was 7.30 am and Rhys arrived on the dot to carry out the 4 jobs Glenfield Electrical had quoted me for. An internal light fitting was changed as was a light switch. A new garden shed was re-connected to the mains and an outside security light was added to the property. The standard of work was faultless. I was kept informed right through the day and was asked to check each item as it was completed. Rhys obviously took a great pride in his work and cleaned up all the areas he had been working in before he left. All done with a smile. Contact with the office was equally impressive. I can't recommend them enough and will use the firm again without hesitation.

This is the first time I have used GE. Electric from house to garage and fix stair lights. The electric to garage was a bigger job than first thought but they kept to the price and did a excellent job. The second job was getting the lights to work on the stairs, they sorted this which means we can switch lights on and off both downstairs and upstairs. I will use them again. Many thanks.

I had a fault on a lighting circuit which I couldn't resolve. Glenfield Electrical attended within 24 hours, arrived on time and Lewis, their electrician, identified and repaired the fault within 30 minutes. A fast, freiendly and efficient service

Contacted Glenfield Electrical amongst others, for a quote for a full rewire. Phil was punctual to arrive and gave some expert advice whilst assessing the job before subsequently providing the best quote by some margin. The work was carried out by his team over a period of a couple of weeks. They kept me informed at all stages during the work, particularly where unforeseen complications arose, and clearly took pride in their profession. The workmanship is excellent and I cannot fault the attention to detail shown in the results. Phil is a thoroughly honest, friendly and likeable guy making communication easy - the same can be said of his team. On balance, I would highly recommend this company and will definitely contract them again when I next need electrical work done. Well done Glenfield Electrical.

Needed a room rewiring quickly, I rang Glenfield electrical, and they were great. They turned up when they said they would, the two electricians who worked on the job were cheerful, friendly and most importantly, clean and tidy. Glenfield Electrical have been a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. I called them at 4.30 on a Friday having been let down by someone recommended personally. Shaun visited to quote at 4pm Tuesday, I had a written quote by 5.30. He returned Thursday to complete the work. The price was very reasonable too. Would not hesitate to use them again
