GLOW supplies and installs high quality electric heating systems, electric radiators, and instant hot water systems. We cover the whole of the UK, and offer either home or online surveys.

Our German manufactured, electric heaters and radiators, come with a 30 year guarantee (Longest in the UK) and can be controlled via wifi /apps. Our SUNAMP instant hot water system (Aquafficient) has won multiple awards, and come with a 10 year guarantee. We also offer pressurised unvented hot water tanks from Norway that have 25 year warranties

We remove old storage heaters, gas/oil/LPG boilers/Immersion tanks/ radiators and dispose of all waste materials.

We're be happy to chat with you anytime on the phone and offer free advice and we will tailor our systems to your exact requirements.

Put my details into a solar panel quote website and Glow were one of 3 companies to get back to me and book an initial consultation. Mark was punctual for the appointment and explained in great detail how the entire process worked and designed a solar system to suit my needs which included solar panels , inverter and battery. A very competitive price was agreed and installation date booked and confirmed with a small deposit left to secure the date. Mark was available via email & phone to answer any questions or concerns. Especially after being told I couldn’t get the amount of panels I’d been told on the roof by a rival competitor. Mark put me at ease and re confirmed with the installation team. Installation day arrived and the scaffolders arrived promptly and erected the scaffolding. The roofers and electricians worked quickly and professionally to get the job completed in 1 day. The installation was done to a high standard with minimal disruption and ensured they tidied up after themselves. Before leaving one of the guys set up the mobile app for me and explained the features and how everything operates. Overall a very pleasant experience dealing with Glow and would definitely recommend and use again

I had a few quotes from different companies for a solar System + battery and Andy from Glow was by far the representative that best explained everything to me. He was very thorough and took all my requests into consideration when designing the system. Although I was bit concerned hiring a smaller company, the whole process and installation went off without a hitch. The scaffolding crew was on time and very respectful and so were the electricians. I’m very pleased with everything so far and would hire them again.

Excellent information given by your sales person, he explained every thing in detail, and answered all my questions. After consulting our young son he assured us that it was all correct. We agreed with the contract and went ahead with it. The installation date was fixed and the team arrived on time.I cannot believe how efficient they were and it only took one day to install the system.They were very professional and helpful in explaining how to download the app which gives us all the information of how the system was working. Many thanks for the help and support given by Glow Electric.

Glow Solar Install
From the initial sales visit, to the installation completing the service provide by all of the Glow staff was top notch. I was kept in the loop at all times with dates, times, etc. On the day of the install the lads the installed the panels were brilliant, friendly, tidy & efficient. Same can be said for the electricians that followed, knowledgeable, friendly & tidy. I would 100% recommend anyone looking in invest in a new solar system to speak with Glow as they are a fantastic company.

Probably the worst decision I ever made to have these installed. They are efficient but they drink electricity like it's going out of fashion. My electric bill has soared since they were installed, virtually impossible to alter the timer because it is so complicated. The company rely on QR codes for just about all the instructions for operation. I rue the day I ever let them enter my house. Seriously considering having them removed.

They are fully compliant with all the relevant regulations to ensure optimal performance while keeping energy usage in check. It’s important to note that electricity consumption can be significantly impacted by factors outside of the heater’s design and functionality, such as the insulation and overall efficiency of the property. In some cases, poorly insulated homes can cause higher energy consumption as the heaters may need to work harder to maintain a comfortable temperature. Regarding your concerns about the timer and QR code usage, we do strive to make the setup process as streamlined and accessible as possible. The QR codes provide direct access to comprehensive instructions that help customers set up their devices with ease, and many of our customers find this approach intuitive. However, we appreciate your feedback and will certainly consider this when evaluating future user experience improvements. It’s worth mentioning that we have not received similar complaints from our customers, and our heaters have been well-received across the board. I asked Glow to give me a quote for Solar and battery. I had lots of questions that were being answered got the proposal and paid a deposit a day later. I had other quotes. Other price points. Paid the deposit on my credit card so I wasn't at all bothered about anything. Then I sat for a while and digested the whole experience and the answers I got, I did some more research and found some confusing statements from Glow. The things I thought about were. No roof survey was carried out. The proposal was for 12 panels. And if 12 don't fit you can have 10. And reduce the cost by £200 per panel. But we won't know yet. I have a chimney that casts a shadow, and optimisers were not advised, as they are prone to not lasting long. When every other company said you do need them. I asked for a battery to be installed in the attic, they did say the regulations may change but not as yet. Some other companies strongly advised against this. As best practice outside or in the garage..and that in the future it may become a standard requirement The proposal showed me generating a huge amount of solar. The roof pitch was wrong, all sorts of little bits didn't add up. The proposal seemed to try and maximise the payback on the investment. It wasn't a genuine story. All based on 12 panels. Long story goes on - refund... confirm 7 days. Came and went. went by. No reply, another 7 days. Not until I chased and chased to be told it wasn't processed. Over 3 weeks...

From Mark explaining what the company does giving us full confidence in trusting their expertise to Alec/Josh and Ben/Steve who carried out the work we can recommend them to others thinking of installing the panels. All these men are ably backed by Sebastian and his office staff needless to say we are very happy with the whole company who completed in the time stated and left site clean and tidy

From the beginning my dealings with this company were very good, the sales person who visited arrived on time and was very helpful without being pushy. I contacted Glow a few days later with a question after doing some research about the products and contacting other companies so that I could compare services and products, Glow came out best with both the quality of their products and services. My dealings with the office staff showed them to be very efficient, well informed and patient with my queries. Emma is a lovely person and was always very helpful, if she was not sure of anything she got the relevant person to make contact usually within a few minutes. I knew exactly what was involved with the process and each part of the system worked well, the scaffolders were very efficient and the roofers and electricians were all gentlemen, I had no qualms about having these people in and out of my home, they were all helpful and polite as well as being excellent at their jobs. I always knew what was happening and when we had a slight change as the electrician was off sick the day the roofers came but I was informed of this and a mutually convenient date was set for completion by the electrician which went ahead. The price I paid was very reasonable and the quality of the products was top class, the paperwork which had to be completed before I could change my tariff was completed the day after the work was finished so since then I have been self-sufficient, Marvellous company

Overall very pleased with the work carried out. The initial visit to discuss options was very knowledgeable and we decided to go with it there and then. The installation was delayed by a week due to waiting for G99 approval but we were informed. Work carried out on the day was all good, there was a concern by the roofer in getting all the panels on but he went above and beyond in order to get them on! The team were finished by 3pm. I was however quite worried when I didn't receive answers about the MCS certificate after multiple emails, however, eventually the certificate was received along with the other paperwork. I would be happy to recommend Glow Electric Heating to anyone, but some advice would be to keep the customer informed rather than relying on them to chase and get no response which leads to frustration.

From start to finish, the entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. The team did an outstanding job with the installation. Everything was completed to a high standard. What truly sets Glow apart, however, is their exceptional communication and organisation. Throughout the project, I was kept informed of each step, and all of my questions were promptly and clearly answered.
