Go Green Systems Limited

Having looked at the solar / self power idea closely, I asked Go Green to quote for a solution to my request for as much self-power as possible and to de-risk against regular power cuts. The answer was a comprehensive solar package with a Tesla Powerwall 2 giving battery backup / off grid power on demand. The whole process from initial quote to final installation was pleasurable and the work was completed ahead of schedule. Everything was left clean and tidy and we were kept informed throughout. With impeccable timing, Storm Eunice landed today, 3 days following installation completion and I was able to continue as normal with work and household activities while the rest of the area was without power, with the Tesla continuing to charge from solar power throughout. We received several quotations from different installers, both local and national. In terms of cost, many were in the same ballpark; however, in terms of presales activities, GoGreen stood out: they explained in detail the installation process, the rationale for the quality panels provided and the appropriate 'extras' for the property. In addition, the merits of their bespoke installation frame was explained in detail; this was an important consideration for our property due to where the panels would be located. The installation itself was timely and the installers were extremely friendly and provided continual updates on their progress and, on completion, provided a very detailed demonstration of the features available. A slight anomaly in the existing electrics in the house was noticed quite late on in the process; however, this was rectified quickly and didn't impact the final cost. The system has now been active for 2 years and, apart from the odd glitch with the SolarEdge app updates, has functioned seamlessly. In addition, GoGreen have always responded very quickly to any queries that I've put to them and also, more recently, installed an EV charging cable to complement the SolarEdge inverter. As ever, this was done in quick time. Really impressed with the company from start to finish and will use them again without question for future sustainable 'extensions' to our home.

We had major problems with our eight year old Panasonic heat pump. We tried four different companies but none could fix it, and all walked off the job. We asked Panasonic for a list of recommended companies, most of which only dealt with air conditioning and one refused to come out as it was too far (21 miles). However Tom agreed to come, even though he was 35 miles away. He struggled to find the fault, but contacted Panasonic, replaced their recommended part which did not work, tried another one which again failed, and one where Panasonic sent the wrong part. Finally he decided to repipe the tank and added in new parts, and it worked. Throughout the whole time he was positive, cheerful, and efficient, his estimated charge was accurate, and I would thoroughly recommend both him and his work. If the government want heat pumps widely used they will need to find and train people like Tom, otherwise they will have the same problem we did. Luckily we found the right guy.

We have been delighted with the quality and professionalism of Go Green's service right from when we first contacted them. They were unable to provide a quotation in February due to the amount of work they already had on their books (a very good sign we thought!) but got back to us at the end of June. They very quickly provided an indicative quotation which was then followed up by a technical survey on site and a full written quotation. We were given excellent advice regarding the type of panels to be installed (we have a slate roof so the in-roof panels were best) and whether battery storage was worth the investment (advice was to monitor how much extra energy our relatively small installation produced before splashing out on an expensive battery). The installation was completed over three days at a time convenient for us and we were impressed by the care and professional approach of the installation team. The monitoring app is easy to use and we can already see clear savings on our electricity bill in line with what was indicated by Go Green. We can highly recommend Go Green and you can be sure they won't encourage you to spend more than you need to.

We had excellent professional service from Tom, Colin and the team for our PV installation. They worked with us to maximise the panel layout on our complicated roof shape. Once on site, they identified that there was no roofing felt under the tiles. We quickly identified the best solution and agreed a budget and schedule adjustment. These were achieved with some long hours to keep on time. Tom kept us informed each day of progress. The team on site were friendly and hard-working and appeared to have good safe working practices. The in-roof installation work was completed very neatly and everything was left very clean and tidy. We would happily recommend them as a reliable PV installer.

Go Green designed a system for us with PV panels, large battery, car charging point and immersion heater for hot water. They clearly had a complete grasp of our needs and the possible solutions. We only had to wait about six weeks for them to come and fit it. The work was done in just a few days and the installing team were considerate and friendly. All the work was done to a very high standard with very neat wiring. The panels were carefully placed on the roof to get as much sunlight as possible. Even though it is midwinter we have been generating surprising amounts of electricity. The work was done to the agreed schedule and budget. We are very happy with the outcome and would certainly recommend this company.

We were recommended Go Green by the inlaws and noted they'd recently also done another house near us. From the initial visit which was informative, balanced and with no pressure, through to the install and just this morning the handover visit, I have been nothing but impressed with the whole team. Groundwork was done on time and very neatly, the scaffolding went up quickly without fuss and the install of the panels and all of the other accouterments was completed by a friendly, polite team who were respectful to the property at all times, inside and out (even cleaned out the gutters whilst on the roof!). Just completed a ground mount using Go Green clever sleeper mounting. The price was very competitive and of all of the quotes we had, we felt they had a better knowledge on the subject. They were very patient with my many questions. Install. Went on time and expertly done. Handover was great as is ongoing support. Would definitely recommend them.

Excellent service. Initial quote was based on digital map giving a ball park figure. Explanation of the system and features was given. We got a second quote from another firm for comparison. Go Green Systems was more expensive but more detailed and thorough and not asking for a deposit at the initial quote stage, so I thought they were likely to be a better standard of workmsnship. I asked a lot of questions and got clear answers. We then had the visit and survey which amended the quote (lower). Everything was sorted out smoothly. The work started and finished on time. The team fitting were efficient and polite. The follow up period with Go Green Systems is way longer than other companies and they have been in business for longer, so they don't duck out of their warranties/follow up service. Very pleased with the team and would recommend them.

I wanted to fit solar panels and a battery to complement the heat pump that I was having installed. Go Green were recommended to me by someone who had used them. They responded quickly and helpfully to my enquiry. The installation started when scheduled and went well. All the people involved on site were pleasant and helpful, and the work was very good, thoughtful and tidy. There have been a few issues regarding the battery charging/discharging which Go Green quickly referred to Solar Edge who resolved them remotely. The system is working well and I have no hesitation in recommending Go Green.

We are very happy with the solar panel array in our field, installed by Go Green. It took longer than it might have done as we had to apply for planning permission and arrange for the ground works to be done - but once given a date all went smoothly and the panels/battery provide a good system for the house and EV. Just had a PV and battery system installed by Go Green Systems. Install went very smoothly with excellent communications before, during and after. Very helpful and efficient install and commissioning team, despite the awful underfoot conditions! System now up and running and performing perfectly.

I got quotes from other companies including my energy supplier. I felt very comfortable with the amount of information I received from Go Green which gave me the confidence to ask questions of the other suppliers. I wanted in roof solar panels which work independently to maximise the amount of power produced. The workmen were very professional, polite and careful in my property. I look forward to seeing how well the system works in all weathers.

Had a PV roof array fitted - commissioned 10th Jan 2018. Once the initial survey was done and a date had been fixed the work was done quickly and to a high standard. Tom and Colin were easy to get in touch with both before and after and the timekeeping and attitude of the team was excellent. There was a mistake, with the wrong Solaredge inverter being fitted. This was discovered by them when I asked a general question about what power output I should expect. I was impressed that there was no attempt to cover up the error, which would have been easy to do (the units look identical) and the correct unit was fitted very promptly. They may not be the cheapest but I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Go Green put 5kw of panels on our roof. They did the work mid-winter which meant they were dealing with bad weather but coped well. They advised us to have the panels inset rather than mounted above the tiles. Although this was more work it meant there was less weight on the roof timbers. It also gave the much neater finish.

Received a professional, courteous service from start to finish. All the guys from Colin, Tom to the actual installers were first class. Have already recommended Go Green to some of our friends.

It took nearly twelve months from enquiry to install such is the current demand but it has proved well worth the wait. Other installers were available but didn't have the right accreditation, track record or reviews - you need someone you can rely on and will be there should any problems arise in the future. We chose a 5Kw system with storage battery and this included 13 solar panels. Unfortunately there was an error in the roof measurements but Tom rapidly sorted out a redesign which worked well for us. The installation took some four days (longer than expected due to staff sickness and availability). The team worked very professionally with a very neat job carried out, all clearly labelled and explained. The system is performing as expected and cutting our electricity bills substantially. Tom is currently sorting out the software controls so that we can charge the storage battery from the grid at off-peak rates, if needed, and also block the storage battery from discharging when we charge our EV. The monitoring app is very useful in seeing what is going on in real time. This shows the importance of getting a good installer - you get the help when you need it! We would readily recommend Go Green Systems.

Go Green were the most professional checking not only where and how things would be sited, checking how the light would vary and therefore the potential of energy generation.
