Goliath Home World Limited

Goliath replaced the existing polycarbonate roof to our conservatory (built by Goliath some 20 years ago) with a Guardian Warm Roof. They came on the agreed date, protected the areas to be retained and carried out the work to a professional high standard. Each trade (uPVC fitters, electricians and plasterers) all worked well together following on without any delay. They removed all rubbish leaving the conservatory ready for me to decorate. There were very few defects (which were rectified immediately) and all tradesmen were polite, well presented and kept us informed of progress regularly. We are extremely pleased with the result which was kept within budget. The only regret is we didn't have the roof done earlier as it has now made the conservatory a usable room all year round now.

Goliath recently undertook a full renovation to the front of our home, this included 7 New Windows Agate Grey Front Door & side Panel Replaced Mock Tudor Board & backer board with plastic Facia’s Soffits and Guttering replaced. The whole process started and finished on time and to a lovely standard, the staff at both the showroom and on site were excellent very approachable and always happy to help and advise. No hard sell, with all our questions answered and with help and good advice given by Stuart we were comfortable in placing our order with Goliath Home World Ltd. The windows and doors are very good quality and the team that fitted them were polite, worked cleanly and completed the job in the estimated time. A big plus is that they have a 10 year guarantee. This is the second time we have used Goliath Home World. The first was a new conservatory in Irish Oak. We were so pleased that this year we asked them to quote for a new set of French Doors and side window panel arrangement in Irish Oak. After they reviewed and advised together with discussing our requirements they provided a quotation - it was an easy decision to award Goliath the business. We felt so confident and we haven't been disappointed. Communications have been just right and a thorough survey carried out. Timing was exactly as advised and agreed and the installation work was carried out exceptionally well. The team are very courteous and meticulous in their work and clearing up. Used Goliath after an insurance claim. Had the whole conservatory taken down and replaced with different design and size. Mr Hancox came up with good ideas and listened to what we wanted. All the trades people that were involved were polite, punctual and of a high standard of workmanship. Site left clean and tidy everyday. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend.

From the start, all contact with Goliath was professional and courteous. Stuart went above and beyond in ensuring that they could supply and fit exactly what we were after, and Adam and James were did a fantastic job of fitting all 11 windows and 3 doors. The 44mm triple glazing has transformed our home - all but the loudest road noise is blocked out, the house is warmer and more comfortable, and the woodgrain effect inside and out looks great! Good value for money, too - triple glazing from Goliath came in cheaper than many double glazing quotes from others. 100% recommend!

From first approaching Goliath Home World we were very impressed with them. Stuart, the salesman who dealt with us throughout, was extremely helpful and sympathetic to our requirements and didn’t put us under any pressure. We had all the doors and windows replaced and the porch rebuilt. James and Adam fitted them for us and they were excellent at their job, friendly, polite and tidy. Having already had the back of the house completed by Goliath, we have now had the front done as well. From the first meeting to payment, the staff have been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had to change the layout of the bay window, which was designed and completed seamlessly. The after-sales are equally efficient and we cannot recommend this professional outfit highly enough. We have used Goliath now for around 20 years for windows doors and conservatories and to be frankly honest would not even consider looking anywhere else, if you want total satisfaction backed up by peace of mind then why look elsewhere. Our conservatory is 12 plus years old and was in need of an upgrade so off we popped to see our friendly Stuart in the showroom (we knew him as a fitter by the way) and he offered his normal professional advice and views of changing our polycarbonate roof for a modern insulated type of roof. There was no pressure whatsoever and in the end, we decided to go top of the range with the Guardian Sunroom Insulated roof with individual plastic tiles. We placed our order in July 2021 and was informed by Stuart that because of all that had gone on over the past eighteen months the installation would be longer than normal which was not a problem at all. Come mid-December the team arrived, we were fortunate over the fitting week with little or no rain. The fitters Adam and James were precise and very professional in the four days they were there, always friendly and polite and meticulous on the job. The electrician and his assistant( names forgotten sadly ) were also polite but again meticulous in their work followed by the plasterers Gaz and Daz I think who also performed a very professional job. We even had the pleasure of seeing Barry for a visit. All I can say about the job is WOW WOW WOW to the whole team from Goliath, magnificent in every way.

We highly recommended this company. The team, who used to do the work (doors and windows, glasses, and scaffolding team) were friendly, helpful and in a fantastic mood. They answered to all our questions, also changed their schedule for a bit due to my personal online exam. All the work have been done on time, even earlier than expected. We were so lucky to have them all here, was a great experience. The doors, windows and glasses are fantastic, since then we have better sleep, due to the silence inside. The job entailed rebuilding a conservatory on an existing base including replacing windows and installing a solid roof. Initial design phase helped us to decide on what we actually wanted. Build,electrical work and plastering were all completed to a very high standard. All waste material from the pre existing structure were taken away and the site was left clean and tidy at the end of the job We are extremely happy with the final result and would strongly recommend Goliath Home World Limited.

We visited several showrooms and installers before choosing Goliath for a new front door and side panels. Steve in the showroom was helpful but not at all pushy when explaining everything we might want (or not). The quote he gave was reasonable and in line with other installers for better quality. They were really helpful with difficult timescales and very quick in response or visits. The fitters were prompt and speedy, very pleasant and left everything tidy. We are really pleased with the look, fitting and quality of everything.

This was the second project carried out for me by Goliath. The work carried out was done at the date promised and was completed to my satisfaction. I had quotes from other companies that were slightly cheaper then Goliath. The others gave over-inflated initial quotes that had to be bartered down making it seem they may not bet as trustworthy. With Goliath there was no pressure to get the business. The quote that was given was reasonable and firm. I had already heard of Goliath from local press. The had a prober base with a confirmable address and land line number. All adding to my confidence in dealing with them. The tradesmen were very considerate during this difficult time with Covid and they managed to keep a safe distance from us. I feel confidant that I can recommend this company to any of my neighbours and not feel I have steered them to rogue traders.

The installation of new French doors and warm roof to conservatory. I must thank Goliath for the first class job. The work was carried out by highly professional team, including the fitters, electrician, and plasterer. My wife and I are both delighted with the finished product. Pleasure to say we have been customers to Goliath for over 20+years.Recently had a problem with the lock on our front door and having contacted Goliath Barry came to assess the problem the lock is over 20 years old and no longer manufactured however Barry insisted that he would endeavour to address the problem.At that the maestro of all work problems Rob visited and following the application of a secondary security latch promised to return with a solution and within the week did so having sourced a lock to fit within the mechanism and safe to say it’s like a new door all of this done at a fraction of the cost of what ultimately would be a new front door what can you say to me customer service at the highest level and more than five star service.Also I must mention the highest of contribution from Georgie(Georgina) who is the initial contact with Goliath and without her initial input and organisation of the attention required then nothing would be prioritised ensuring your request has the attention needed so to me this somewhat simple job on paper but complicated by nature has been done to the highest standard and I am always grateful.
