When my Alfa Romeo failed to start on a rainy Saturday morning, I had to wait until Monday to find an Alfa-certified garage who could fix the electrical problem. I called two of them, and they gave me the impression they knew very little. Gonnella Brothers, to the opposite, knew exactly what was wrong with the car. They briefed me on the fault and the solution, and provided me superb service while keeping the cost of the repair to a minimum. They were quick, and I was able to get the car at the time and date they had promised. And they fix the car as agreed. They remained available on the phone as I needed. I should like to advise you of the excellent service provided by this garage since I first started using them back in 2007 when I bought my first Alfa Romeo. They completed a service, MOT and repair to the electric windows on my present Alfa Brera today. The works were completed in good time for a very fair price and the car handed back to me clean and tidy. Two years ago, my Brera failed its MOT due to a very rusty engine sub frame. Had I taken my car to any other garage it could have been the end of the road for it. But the helpful staff managed to source a new sub frame and undertake the necessary repairs to keep my car on the road. Last year, Mr Gonnella (senior) managed to repair the leaver that operates the recline of the front passenger seat for me. Yesterday, he managed to fit replacement electric window switches to my car having first diagnosed the fault. It is the knowledge the staff have of Italian cars that is of such great benefit to its customers. I will return my car to Gonnella Brothers when it needs future work.

My handbrake gave up late on Friday evening. I called Gonnella Brothers first thing on Saturday and despite being understaffed they managed to have a look at the car and quoted me £45 to have a look. It was a quick fix with the handbrake just needing tightening and I was all done by 9.30am. There was no charge (they offered me a cup of coffee instead) and I managed to get to the airport at 5am this morning with no problems. They also do my regular MOTs and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
