Graham Maddock

Graham painted my walls last year to a high standard so I did not hesitate to use him again this year to paint my doors and skirting board. Graham did an excellent job, left the place tidy every day. I was very happy that the agreed schedule and budget were adhered to. Graham was very friendly and I found his expertise and advice reassuring. I will be using Graham again for all future painting jobs.

Graham has just finished decorating our kitchen, utility and cloakroom and has done an excellent job at a fair price. The job involved painting the walls, ceiling, radiators, skirts and doors, plus hanging paper to a feature wall in the cloakroom.. Everything was completed on time and to a very high standard, with excellent surface preparation and two coats of paint on all surfaces. Graham started promptly at 8am every day working through to 4.30pm when he cleared up fully so we could still use the rooms being decorated. Graham is an "old school" professional and does a great job. Not only do I recommend him, but we have also accepted a quote for Graham to decorate our lounge and dining room and asked for a quote to decorate our hall, stairs and landing.

Graham did some great work for us last year, and we didn't hesitate in choosing him again when we wanted a couple more rooms decorating this year (including a large three-storey hallway). Once again, Graham demonstrated excellent attention to detail - as well as painting, he skillfully made good a damaged ceiling, and repaired a damaged door. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Graham has just finished decorating our living room and we are really happy with the outcome. The quality of the finish is excellent. Graham has a real attention to detail and is very friendly to have around. We have a period property, and Graham gave some excellent advice on the best approach to take. He is also very trustworthy and reliable - we were away for one week and felt very comfortable leaving Graham to carry on in our absence. He kept the house locked up safely each day and even watered the flowers! This is the second time we’ve used Graham, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We recently had Graham spend nearly 2 weeks at our house painting our kitchen walls, ceilings and cabinets. He did a fantastic and thorough job, and we are really happy with the results. Not only that, but he was a really nice person to have around and we were completely comfortable with him being in the house. His knowledge was second to none, providing advice and input when needed (but always letting us make the final choice), and the quality of the results are telling. We would definitely use Graham again and 100% recommend him.

This is the second time we have used Graham. If you want a professional decorator that takes pride in his work, who is on time, tidy, trustworthy, gives great decorating advice, and is a lovely person to have around, then look no further than Graham. He decorated our bedroom, lounge, and front door, and even got our doorbell to work again!! He is worth every penny, and we wouldn't hesitate to call on him again if we can find more rooms for him to decorate! Thanks again, Graham.

We have engaged Graham's services several times; I believe this is the fourth or fifth time now. And every time, I promise to leave him a review and then don't get around, for which I apologise Graham! His is currently redoing our ceilings, hall and stairs and the gloss work and repainting our kitchen and dining room. He'll be finished next week. Previous jobs have included the bathrooms, main bedroom and the living room. He always does a superb job with meticulous attention to detail. If he encounters an issue, he'll talk us through our options and make suggestions, always with our best interests in mind. Communication is excellent, quality is excellent, price is very reasonable and he always leaves the place as livable as possible at the end of each day. Never had a problem with anything he's done for us.

Graham has just finished decorating the remaining two bedrooms upstairs, such that over the last 18 months he has fully re-decorated our 4 bed detached home. This time the work involved repairing a ceiling, stripping and re-papering two feature walls, emulsion to all other walls and ceilings, together with a total 12 internal doors to be painted in satinwood. All was completed in exactly the agreed timescale, to a first class finish and every day Graham fully cleared up. If you were to write down all the qualities you would like from a tradesman, Graham exhibits them all. Hardworking, punctual, great quality of work, fair prices and good communication. It says much about him that many customers, such as I, are repeat customers and he is frequently booked up months in advance. This is my second review of Graham's work and will sadly be my last as there is no more to decorate. I will miss my daily chats with Graham, which he did not allow to interrupt him working! It was our first time of using Graham, having found him on Which Trusted Traders and we were not disappointed. Graham has just finished decorating 2 bedrooms, dining room, kitchen & hall stairs and landing. Having him in our house was a pleasure, he was friendly, very knowledgeable and gave us good advice on the best way forward, his communication was excellent and he left our house clean & tidy every day before leaving. Graham has totally transformed our house and we are very happy with the quality of the finish. We would highly recommend Graham and will definitely use him again.

We last used Graham 10 years ago to decorate the whole house and when the time came for us to have more decorating done we wouldn't have gone anywhere else. Professional, competent and caring are suitable descriptions for Graham's workmanship and attitude, plus he's a pleasure to have around. We will use Graham again, without hesitation.
