We had a large rear, double circle, paving slab patio and a resin bonded gravel front path and storm porch surround, installed. We were spoken to about the work before starting, to ensure we were getting what was requested. The employees were hard working and polite. A full skip of soil was removed before a thick type 1 sub-base was layed, then another thick dry cement layer, with the paving slabs laid on top of the dampened down top layer. The result was a very solid patio that looks wonderful. Top soil was added to the surrounding area, with turf where it had been requested. We just need to wait for the first good weather next year in order to use it! The gravel path at the front is similarly solid and also looks wonderful. Would definitely recommend Graveltech to others.

Graveltech were employed to complete three tasks - remove and replace an overgrown garden fence, clear a vegetable patch and create and lay an additional parking space adjacent to the drive. Each task was carried by Gabriel and Omar with enthusiasm and completed to an exceptional standard. The old fence and bushes were cleared and the new fence built slat by slat and taking the trouble to ensure that we were happy with the progress of the work. The finished fencing has been admired by everyone. Th vegetable patch was quickly cleared, the ground turned over and new turf laid. The new parking spot involved block paving which was meticulously checked and cut to achieve a perfect finish. We cannot praise highly enough the standard of work and tidying up and the involvement and supervision and input from Mike We would not hesitate to use Graveltech again.

Contacted Graveltech to quote for: Driveway: removing grass and creating a greater space for parking using gravel. New cobble border and cobble driveway entrance. Garden: remove block brick paving and replace with ceramic tiles with cobble borders and cobbles to form circles in the ceramic. Erection of a new pergola. Re-turfing lawn. Quality of work was excellent and Mike was regularly onsite to check the work and available to discuss any options or suggestions. All the workers and the owners, Rhod and Mike were very friendly and professional. Very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Graveltech.

From first contacting Graveltech through to the completion has been a highly satisfying experience, Rhod visited and gave some great advise on the design of the driveway, incorporating a nice semi circular bed allowing for bedding plants and a black limestone porch to the front of the house, it was completed with a grey tone resin to the front and side of the house and a new garage gate at the rear side. The result was better than I could have expected, the workmanship from the installers was fantastic, from an old wrecked crazy paving driveway to a driveway of beauty to complete the full renovation of the house. The whole area was achieved in approx one week with minimum upheaval. The service from Graveltech is highly recommended and a big thanks to the team.

This is the second time I have worked with Graveltech. After creating a sloped path to my front door, I called on them again to help me access my garden. These were up steps that I could not climb, as increasing disability has led me to use a wheelchair. Rhod spent a considerable time with me discussing various options, and the installation of a lift and resurfacing sympathetic to wheelchair use appeared as the best option. He sourced the lift for me and arranged every step of the installation directly with the manufacturers. Graveltech dug out and brick-lined the lift housing and laid a polymerised gravel surface to an elegant design in the hard area of the garden and also around the back exterior, creating a gently-sloping path from the back door to the lift. Mike coordinated and supervised every stage meticulously. The team arrived promptly, worked hard and steadily throughout, and removed all waste, leaving the site tidy at the end of each day. They worked to the agreed schedule and budget exactly. I am delighted with the outcome and cannot recommend Graveltech too highly. My review is a little tardy because I have been enjoying my safe access to my garden again!

This review is long overdue, but we want to express our sincere gratitude to Rhod, Mike and the team at Graveltech for improving access to our front door and our rear garden for my wife, who has to use a wheeled rollator. We initially wanted an access ramp from our drive to the front door as negotiating the steps was getting increasingly difficult. Rhod spent a good hour and a half with us discussing options, returning as needed to clarify any issues concerns. We settled on a polymerised gravel ramp, and the result was fantastic, and has made access to the front door a breeze. The standard of work was exemplary and the team professional and courteous. As a result, we asked Rhod if anything could be done to allow my wife to access our rear patio which, as the garden has a pronounced upward slope from the rear of the house, has meant that the garden had effectively been a no-go area. Again, the result has been - we can think of no better word - life-changing. The team installed a gentle gradient slope to a new patio halfway up the garden - also installed by Graveltech, and a further gentle pathway from there to the larger rear patio. As a result, we can now enjoy our garden to the fullest, and it has completely transformed both the access and appearance. The work was carried out efficiently to what we regard as the highest professional standard, within budget, and the results are astonishing. We cannot recommend Graveltech highly enough.

The pointing between the slabs of my garden patio was crumbling away so I got two quotes for repointing. Rhodri explained what they would do and Graveltech’s quote was easily the cheapest of the two. They removed all the old pointing, jet-washed the patio and repointed it, all in two days. The result looks excellent. I recommend them.

We looked at a few providers to replace our perished tarmac drive, and chose GravelTech after a fair bit of research. At each stage they were helpful, professional and gave excellent advice. We live in a conservation area and were required to submit a planning application to gain estate management consent. Rhod's knowledge of the process was invaluable and he provided all the drawings which meant the approval was given promptly. The work started shortly after and the team were superb, and the work was exceptional. It looks fabulous and it's an immeasurable improvement on before. We chose Graveltech from a shortlist of contractors and very pleased we did. Everyone from the team was polite and professional and did an excellent job designing and laying a resin driveway. Many of our neighbours have been similarly impressed with the finished product.

I contacted GravelTech at the start of 2023 to obtain their advice, recommendation and quote for a new driveway. An on-site meeting was arranged promptly by Rhodri who made his suggestions on the most suitable solution. A grass bank, yew hedge and some lawn area was to be removed along with the existing concrete drive and replaced with a resin-bound surface. The total initial area was 145 sq. mt. A detailed spec. was provided and questions answered promptly. I went to view their other completed sites and was impressed with their work. I went ahead and placed a small deposit and said I would be in touch once other building works were completed. Despite a significant delay on my part, the company agreed to install the drive at a date to suit me without increasing their original quote. I asked them to also do some extra works including extending the surfacing to the side of the garage, a new concrete base for a shed and a new sandstone paved area in the front garden. They were very accommodating and provided the additional quotes promptly. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and any minor changes I requested were incorporated. They built a lovely retaining wall and added tiles under the soldier course at the last minute as per my request. The team always attended on time and the work was completed as per their initial estimate. The property was left clean and tidy each day. I would highly recommend GravelTech to anyone considering replacing their drive.

From our initial contact with Graveltech, through to the completion of our new driveway, we were suitably impressed with the care & professionalism demonstrated by every member of staff. Graveltech provided a detailed proposal to replace an existing driveway with a new design applying a porous resin bound shingle surface, cobbled edging, landing pad for front door and new fencing. We were extremely pleased with the whole process from the consultation and planning through to execution and completion. We were provided with relevant referral sites to assist with the thought process. There was no pressure to make a decision and the focus was all about getting the design right. The project was delivered on plan, on budget and on the dates agreed. Throughout the process we benefitted from great communication with the Graveltech team and we are delighted with our new driveway.

Graveltech were asked to restore a areas of grass that had become damaged by the use of a heavy lifting platform whilst Earthpoints Ltd were carrying out solar PV installation at one of our clients, a secondary school in St Albans. Due to heavy rainfall over several weeks the ground was extremely wet resulting in challenging conditions. We needed the ground restored quickly and the work needed to be carried out within a tight time period during the school holidays. Mike and Rhodri quickly understood our requirements and proposed a solution to exceed our client's expectations. This was implemented on budget and within the agreed timeline. The ground works carried out by Mike and his team left the areas looking better than they had before the area had been damaged. When one area was unfortunately further damaged by another contractor, undoing the excellent work that Graveltech had done, they responded immediately, returning to the site to restore the ground once more to a pristine condition. Overall, the work was first class and the outcome excellent. Graveltech were easy to work with before, during and after the works and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t even get the workers to have a cup of tea. Initially, we required a rotting garden post to be replaced. Then, a chance conversation with Rod about having some work done repairing and extending the pathways and patios improved and extended has led to our fantastic garden layout which all the family love. Both Rod and Mike came up with first-rate suggestions to improve our simplistic ideas at little or no increased cost. It seems to us, that the driving force for the company was improving the quality of the customer experience not maximizing profits for the company. The workers they use are trustworthy and polite with the correct degree of skills to complete the work to a high standard. Good management of their staff meant work went ahead at pace. They said the job would be completed within the week and it was to the day. Ably supported by Verity in the office made contact with all the company's staff professional, helpful, and friendly. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

A fantastic service from start to finish. Rhod has great vision and was able to advise on the best fit for our front and back. Mixing resin millboard and slabs perfectly. We had time to make decisions which were reviewed right up to the day when the team started. The team were clean prompt and obviously very adept slabbing fence building and finally resin. We first read reviews for Graveltech Driveway work done in North London area. Rodhri Davies called and advised us on the best solution for our driveway. They designed the Driveway and commenced worth on 11 September. Martin the Project manager was great person to deal with and any changes we needed to make. The team workers were all hard working and considerate. We required our back garden patio to be repointed and sealed and they did this without any fuss. Our driveway now looks immaculate and we are very pleased with the Graveltech Team who carried out works to very high professional standards and will recommend them to our friends and family.

Upon execution, we had Mike whom managed the project end to end, which we were delighted was organised as part of the works.
