Graveltech removed my old block paved drive and replaced it with resin bound gravel. They also replaced a boundary wall and fence with new fence panels and oak sleepers. The result looks amazing. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Rhod helped us design the layout of the new drive and provided great advice on the materials. Mike and the team then delivered exactly to the design. I was very impressed with the amount of preparation work, and how much effort and material went into the foundations of the new drive. I am confident that it will last for years. In summary, I absolutely recommend Graveltech. They were helpful, reliable, and professional, and did a great job.

Graveltech were recommended by a friend who had used them previously as we were thinking of having slabs laid. I'm so glad we didn't. From the first meeting with Rhodri who arrived promptly and explained the entire process, we knew we had made the correct choice. Rhodri subtly adjusted the designs and gave valuable advice and a very attractive price. Mike and the install team were equally outstanding. The preparation of the site and groundworks were extremely thorough and the application of the resin bound product was made to look so simple. The site was left spotless after each stage and the guys worked through some bitterly cold weather but the end results are stunning. Huge thanks Graveltech, would recommend these folks in a heartbeat.

We first read reviews for Graveltech Driveway work done in North London area. Rodhri Davies called and advised us on the best solution for our driveway. They designed the Driveway and commenced worth on 11 September. Martin the Project manager was great person to deal with and any changes we needed to make. The team workers were all hard working and considerate. We required our back garden patio to be repointed and sealed and they did this without any fuss. Our driveway now looks immaculate and we are very pleased with the Graveltech Team who carried out works to very high professional standards and will recommend them to our friends and family.

Initially, we required a rotting garden post to be replaced. Then, a chance conversation with Rod about having some work done repairing and extending the pathways and patios improved and extended has led to our fantastic garden layout which all the family love. Both Rod and Mike came up with first-rate suggestions to improve our simplistic ideas at little or no increased cost. It seems to us, that the driving force for the company was improving the quality of the customer experience not maximizing profits for the company. The workers they use are trustworthy and polite with the correct degree of skills to complete the work to a high standard. Good management of their staff meant work went ahead at pace. They said the job would be completed within the week and it was to the day. Ably supported by Verity in the office made contact with all the company's staff professional, helpful, and friendly. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

From our initial contact with Graveltech, through to the completion of our new driveway, we were suitably impressed with the care & professionalism demonstrated by every member of staff. When Rhodri Davies visited us to discuss what the company could offer, he listened attentively to our thoughts & ideas but also offered helpful, practical suggestions which could enhance the front aspect of our property. After receiving a detailed quote via email from Rhodri the following day, which we accepted, we were fortunate enough to receive a start date for the following Monday! The project manager, Mike Peacock introduced himself on day one of the operation, & was available for contact throughout the duration of the work. Each member of the construction team was polite and conscientious; the attention given to tidying up the site at the end of each working day was great! We are absolutely delighted with our new driveway, which was completed in an amazing eight working days, and within a month of our initial email to the company! We have had numerous positive comments from neighbours, passers-by and delivery staff since the driveway was completed. Graveltech deserves nothing but praise and acclamation for the attitude & effort of its staff in providing us with our fantastic new driveway!

This is the second time I have worked with Graveltech. After creating a sloped path to my front door, I called on them again to help me access my garden. These were up steps that I could not climb, as increasing disability has led me to use a wheelchair. Rhod spent a considerable time with me discussing various options, and the installation of a lift and resurfacing sympathetic to wheelchair use appeared as the best option. He sourced the lift for me and arranged every step of the installation directly with the manufacturers. Graveltech dug out and brick-lined the lift housing and laid a polymerised gravel surface to an elegant design in the hard area of the garden and also around the back exterior, creating a gently-sloping path from the back door to the lift. Mike coordinated and supervised every stage meticulously. The team arrived promptly, worked hard and steadily throughout, and removed all waste, leaving the site tidy at the end of each day. They worked to the agreed schedule and budget exactly. I am delighted with the outcome and cannot recommend Graveltech too highly. My review is a little tardy because I have been enjoying my safe access to my garden again!

Graveltech were employed to complete three tasks - remove and replace an overgrown garden fence, clear a vegetable patch and create and lay an additional parking space adjacent to the drive. Each task was carried by Gabriel and Omar with enthusiasm and completed to an exceptional standard. The old fence and bushes were cleared and the new fence built slat by slat and taking the trouble to ensure that we were happy with the progress of the work. The finished fencing has been admired by everyone. Th vegetable patch was quickly cleared, the ground turned over and new turf laid. The new parking spot involved block paving which was meticulously checked and cut to achieve a perfect finish. We cannot praise highly enough the standard of work and tidying up and the involvement and supervision and input from Mike We would not hesitate to use Graveltech again.

Contacted Graveltech to quote for: Driveway: removing grass and creating a greater space for parking using gravel. New cobble border and cobble driveway entrance. Garden: remove block brick paving and replace with ceramic tiles with cobble borders and cobbles to form circles in the ceramic. Erection of a new pergola. Re-turfing lawn. Quality of work was excellent and Mike was regularly onsite to check the work and available to discuss any options or suggestions. All the workers and the owners, Rhod and Mike were very friendly and professional. Very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Graveltech.

I discovered Graveltech when I was browsing for driveways on the Internet. I needed a porous driveway so was drawn towards the resin bound surface solution. I made contact with the Sales Director Rhodri Davies. He sent me addresses where Graveltech had installed resin bound driveways recently. I visited most addresses and without exception, customers were happy with the work and praised the company for their friendly and professional approach. I sketched out my ideas and discussed them with Rhodri on his first visit. With his vast experience of landscaping, he could see ways to enhance the appearance of the driveway. It was useful to have those ideas to mull over. When the final plan was agreed, he measured up and emailed me a price. It fell between two other quotes but I chose Graveltech because of the enthusiastic reports I had received from previous customers and of the constructive ideas proposed by Rhodri. I had a couple of issues when the site was being prepared but these were quickly and efficiently resolved to my satisfaction by Mike Peacock the Operations Director. I found the members of the workforce friendly and hard working. All clearly took a pride in their work. I am now the proud owner of a smart driveway which gets admiring glances by passers-by and I am looking forward to my first chance to recommend Graveltech to potential customers in person! I have no hesitation in recommending Graveltech as a Which? Trusted Trader.

We instructed Graveltech in August 2011 to undertake a new drive and landscaping of our garden. The service provided was excellent, with innovative ideas being given at the design stage which provided a fantastic finished product. We choose bonded gravel for the driveway which looks great and is very hard wearing along with artificial grass which has provided a great solution for a small shaded area of garden and allows a clean and safe kids play area. The workmen were highly professional and very friendly causing minimal disruption through the works period. All in all we were highly impressed with the level of service, design ideas and overall price which has resulted in an exceptionally finished driveway and garden – our neighbours are very jealous! I wanted something different and first saw stone bonding some years ago but a quotation from another contractor at the time seemed high. I recently came across Graveltech’s website. I saw the fact that they are a “Which?” recommended contractor as a plus. Graveltech worked promptly, efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Clearly they take pride in their work, and made a number of helpful suggestions which improved upon my original ideas. My drive was liable to flood but porous stone bonding has completely eliminated that problem. When there is a deluge I no longer have to sweep away mud and water. The new drive has a bright, smooth finish. It has been much admired by visitors and has enlarged the space for parking and turning cars. The ‘kerb appeal’ itself has been significantly been lifted, giving the house itself an appearance of being new.

We had been thinking of replacing our old patio for some time and have to say we are very pleased that we selected Graveltech to carry out the work. From the start of the project to final completion everything went to plan. The workmen arrived every morning on time at 8.00am worked all day until 5.00pm and finished the job of approximately 60 sq metres of Sandstone Pavers in four and a half days. We are very satisfied with the result and would recommend the company to anyone carrying out a similar project.

It was a new installation for a 180m₂ driveway – tarmac with natural gravel rolled into it, new fence on sleepers and a new gate. The existing drive was an eyesore – a very poor existing tarmac drive with holes and undulations, bordered by ugly land and trees with huge variances in height levels - I had removed 8 trees before speaking to Rhod So Rhod visited the site and came up with some creative ideas and options that we would never have thought of. Mike ran the project with a team of incredibly hard working and talented guys. The quality of workmanship was remarkable and the project just ran like clockwork. They first had to remove around 30+ tonnes of existing driveway debris, tree stumps and old patio. Then it all just came together - the cobbles at the gate entrance and around the curved perimeter make it look very special indeed. We have had so many neighbours stopping by to commend us on the work – it’s a real showstopper now – not an eyesore at all! And it’s level now too! Graveltech was not the cheapest quote. But after meeting Rhod, understanding Graveltech’s approach, quality of materials, ideas etc - I got a true sense of honesty, care and craftsmanship. Graveltech are in another league. It’s transformed the front of our house and I love it. It’s gone from letting the street down to being the stand-out house! Cheers for all the hard work guys. I would recommend Graveltech no-one else comes close

The job was laying a porous stone bonded drive in place of an old loose pebble drive. The end result looks beautiful, as well as being very practical and easy to park the car and walk on without tripping. The sale manager was very knowledgeable and offered several suggestions to improve the appearance which made the end result more attractive. I have had several appreciative comments from random visitors. Three different specialist work teams all turned up on time on the three consecutive days as scheduled ,and were all very skilled completing the work to a very high degree of finish.

Joseph, Marius and their colleagues did an excellent job in tearing up our old driveway and replacing with a resin bound surface. They asked if they were unsure about what we wanted and came up with some good suggestions for aspects that had not been covered in the specification. They came on time, were polite and tidied up every day. Early days yet, but we are really pleased with the new driveway. Rhodri was helpful with discussing our needs and gave helpful advice. He visited us a couple of times to discuss the options. Mike, i/c the operations teams was easily contactable and visited when asked. On top of that, the price was very competitive.
