Very professional company, it is an expense and they answered my questions to help me understand the process, explained differences in bound and non bound. Colours chosen, with advice, start date given, all subject to weather, payment schedule agreed. They started on time, very clean workers, fortunately weather didn’t interfere and finished as stated, Mike was always available, a couple of things cropped up as work progressed and he solved those promptly for me. Would recommend company to everyone, and willingly show my drive to any prospective client.

Driveway extension and installation of resin bound surface, re-turfing of lawn and new stepped sleeper boundary wall. Carried out to a very high standard at short notice to accommodate our holiday plans. One small snag was dealt with, leaving us very pleased with the whole project. On Rhodri’s initial inspection, he made some good suggestions regarding the layout of the new drive and recommended erecting a gate and fencing which would provide more privacy to our back garden. We were very impressed with the speed that the original drive was removed and the professionalism of the contractors. There were a couple of snagging items with the drive which were dealt with quickly. There was an issue with the gates, which had to be replaced and took longer to resolve but this has now been done to our satisfaction and was handled courteously by Mike. The new driveway and gates have definitely enhanced our property.

Graveltech did a very professional job in removing our old drive and front garden which was a mix of old concrete and tarmac layers. They then installed a lovely resin bound surface, edged with black cobbles, also replacing an old door step and installing upright sleepers as boundary edging and a couple of flower beds to soften the look. All carried out extremely efficiently and quickly. We are very pleased.

Rhodi came and spent two hours with me discussing the very large project, putting in a new drive and new triple carport/garage. He advised me to do the project in a way that was completely opposite to what I thought would be correct. Sophie initially came to discuss the work needed and ensure that my requirements were clear. She also made several suggestions that I incorporated in the final design. When I received the initial quotation, Sophie made very helpful and practical suggestions to improve the design and reduce costs. Work started about 4 weeks later when dry weather was forecast. Mike, Paul and the team worked very quickly and professionally. The team stopped only for short lunch breaks. The work was completed within schedule, cost and to my complete satisfaction, including reseeding part of our lawn, removing an old hedge and coming back to check that I was completely satisfied. An excellent company that I trust and can recommend. I've never seen construction staff work so hard.

Graveltech recently carried out some work on our garden - laid a new patio and constructed a pergola and outdoor fireplace. This was our second time of using this company so knew to expect excellent workmanship and service and we were not disappointed. We did not really know what we wanted at the outset, just that we had some issues with neighbours trees etc. Rhod came up with some great ideas and created a design that fitted our needs perfectly. We are very happy with the results and are looking forward to enjoying our new entertaining area this summer.

Small problem with the first layer of resin (problem with the resin manufacture) which they immediately put right. A little pooling of water in one area of the patio after heavy rain which again they immediately remedied. Very happy with Graveltech and would recommend.

A fantastic service from start to finish. Rhod has great vision and was able to advise on the best fit for our front and back. Mixing resin millboard and slabs perfectly. Graveltech were asked to restore a areas of grass that had become damaged by the use of a heavy lifting platform whilst Earthpoints Ltd were carrying out solar PV installation at one of our clients, a secondary school in St Albans. Due to heavy rainfall over several weeks the ground was extremely wet resulting in challenging conditions. We needed the ground restored quickly and the work needed to be carried out within a tight time period during the school holidays. Mike and Rhodri quickly understood our requirements and proposed a solution to exceed our client's expectations. This was implemented on budget and within the agreed timeline. The ground works carried out by Mike and his team left the areas looking better than they had before the area had been damaged. When one area was unfortunately further damaged by another contractor, undoing the excellent work that Graveltech had done, they responded immediately, returning to the site to restore the ground once more to a pristine condition. Overall, the work was first class and the outcome excellent. Graveltech were easy to work with before, during and after the works and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Graveltech provided a detailed proposal to replace an existing driveway with a new design applying a porous resin bound shingle surface, cobbled edging, landing pad for front door and new fencing. We were extremely pleased with the whole process from the consultation and planning through to execution and completion. We were provided with relevant referral sites to assist with the thought process. There was no pressure to make a decision and the focus was all about getting the design right. The project was delivered on plan, on budget and on the dates agreed. Throughout the process we benefitted from great communication with the Graveltech team and we are delighted with our new driveway.

The pointing between the slabs of my garden patio was crumbling away so I got two quotes for repointing. Rhodri explained what they would do and Graveltech’s quote was easily the cheapest of the two. They removed all the old pointing, jet-washed the patio and repointed it, all in two days. The result looks excellent. I recommend them.

Our experience with Graveltech was excellent from start to finish. Rhod came out to assess the driveway and offered great suggestions to make the most of the space. He sent designs the same day, including sketches and material photos, which really helped us visualise the final result. Having just used Graveltech, I am not at all surprised that their rating is 5*. They thoroughly deserve it. We had a substantial part of our aged tarmac driveway resurfaced, owing to surface root damage. Rhodri (what a personable chap) was decent and clear, giving us a range of options. Although we had to wait over a year (for insurance agreement) he came back and carried out what we had agreed, which included mending a manhole wall also affected by the tree roots. The work was carried out in an excellent, precision manner by the crew, who were helpful and punctual. They managed not to damage the tricky, surrounding edging bricks. They cleared up and it was a job done to standards most have long since forgotten. Highly recommended.

Carried out a first class job within programme. Not the cheapest, but well worth the cost for the quality of the works.
