Attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t even get the workers to have a cup of tea. Initially, we required a rotting garden post to be replaced. Then, a chance conversation with Rod about having some work done repairing and extending the pathways and patios improved and extended has led to our fantastic garden layout which all the family love. Both Rod and Mike came up with first-rate suggestions to improve our simplistic ideas at little or no increased cost. It seems to us, that the driving force for the company was improving the quality of the customer experience not maximizing profits for the company. The workers they use are trustworthy and polite with the correct degree of skills to complete the work to a high standard. Good management of their staff meant work went ahead at pace. They said the job would be completed within the week and it was to the day. Ably supported by Verity in the office made contact with all the company's staff professional, helpful, and friendly. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I was delighted with the outcome and at every stage of working with the Graveltech team. Rhodri visited very soon after I contacted the company and appreciated the changes required fully and made informed suggestions. The work started soon and was swift and efficient. The construction team arrived early and promptly every morning and worked very hard to construct a very aesthetically pleasing new path for me that is accessible and safe. All members of the team at Graveltech have been helpful, pleasant and attentive from the the first enquiry, to the design and throughout the duration and completion of our driveway. Rhod listened to what we asked for and dealt with our initial questions, Mike set up the team of workers on site and Josef kept the work moving, all with Verity back at the office providing back-up. A fantastic service from start to finish. Rhod has great vision and was able to advise on the best fit for our front and back. Mixing resin millboard and slabs perfectly. We had time to make decisions which were reviewed right up to the day when the team started. The team were clean prompt and obviously very adept slabbing fence building and finally resin. We first read reviews for Graveltech Driveway work done in North London area. Rodhri Davies called and advised us on the best solution for our driveway. They designed the Driveway and commenced worth on 11 September. Martin the Project manager was great person to deal with and any changes we needed to make. The team workers were all hard working and considerate. We required our back garden patio to be repointed and sealed and they did this without any fuss. I recently had Graveltech come out and design my rather unattractive driveway. Rhod who came out originally gave us ideas and ways to approach this. Unfortunately we have had to have our drive re-done (bonded resin) for the second time in 5 years. This is because it was not done correctly previously. From start to finish Graveltech were professional and knowledgeable and actually turned up on every occasion they said they would which is rare these days! The advice we were given on colours and materials was spot on. We also asked if they could take on a job with our pond walls which were rendered but we wanted them tiled. Other contractors had not came back to us on this project despite promising quotes etc. Oh wow, what a job Graveltech have done on this, it looks fantastic. We cannot recommend Graveltech highly enough. Reliable, efficient, clean and tidy workers. It's a job, very well done.

Rhod left us feeling incredibly comfortable and confident after his initial survey visit. He clearly knows his products inside and out and was able to advise us on design options. The work itself was carried out with great skill and patience by Mike and the install team, despite terrible conditions. Graveltech came on recommendation from a friend who had used them. We had several visits to discuss what we wanted and thanks to Rhod's suggestions on what would work for us, we changed our original idea to something which was so much better and softer on the eyes. Rhod was very approachable and easy to discuss our requirements with. Rhod suggested the edging and resin colour showing us samples so we could visualise it. The team had to firstly clear the existing driveway which involved breaking up the existing one. They did this very quickly and had grabber lorries arriving to take the rubble away. They arrived on time each day and were always polite and tidied up at the end of each day. Nothing was too much for them, when we wanted the level lowered after they had started to prepare the ground they did this without a fuss. There were other 'tweaks' we wanted done and they also accommodated these, such as lowering the fence they had erected for us. Due to bad weather there was a delay in completing the driveway, but Verity in the office kept us updated on when the work would be continued and was apologetic for the delays due to the weather (out of her hands!). The work came in at the agreed price and we are very pleased with the end result. All paperwork was received and was in order. Passers by still comment on how nice the driveway looks, and one of our neighbours has asked for details of the firm that did our driveway and we have passed Graveltech's details on.

Graveltech were recommended by a friend who had used them previously as we were thinking of having slabs laid. I'm so glad we didn't. From the first meeting with Rhodri who arrived promptly and explained the entire process, we knew we had made the correct choice. We first used Graveltech 4 yrs ago to put the finishing touches to a large extension by doing our driveway and paths and where very pleased with the work. We contacted them in July to help create an outdoor living space to also incorporate a hot tub area. They did a plan, and then the work and the finished work has turned out better than we expected. Graveltech removed my old block paved drive and replaced it with resin bound gravel. They also replaced a boundary wall and fence with new fence panels and oak sleepers. The result looks amazing. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Rhod helped us design the layout of the new drive and provided great advice on the materials. Mike and the team then delivered exactly to the design. I was very impressed with the amount of preparation work, and how much effort and material went into the foundations of the new drive. I am confident that it will last for years. c100sqm resin patio. Great pre-sales advice and communications to ensure we got it just right. Professional hard-working team. Small problem with the first layer of resin (problem with the resin manufacture) which they immediately put right. A little pooling of water in one area of the patio after heavy rain which again they immediately remedied. Very happy with Graveltech and would recommend.

After seeing a friends resins drive, I knew that was what I wanted. Rhodri came to design the front of my house where I was going to have the resin and added some Portuguese Laurels, Mike also did some work on my garden, putting new turf, paving, cobbled edging and a few more hedges. I used Graveltech to replace a 1930's concrete path and parking area in front of my house. They had to break-up, dig out and remove the ancient thick concrete and then replace it with a pattern of terracotta pavers. Also change the size of the several large flowerbeds and add sidings to them at various heights. Finally, they also removed an old gate and refurbished a low wall. They were helpful and inventive during the design stage and after a slight delay getting started they turned up in force and worked intensively but with the minimum of upheaval. The workers were unintrusive and considerate of both us and the neighbours and seemed like genuinely pleasant people. The work was done efficiently and to a very high standard. The laying of the pavers and structuring the flowerbed sidings was an intricate and fairly difficult job which they did beautifully and with real taste. They weren't the cheapest quote but I'm very happy with what they achieved & I'd definitely recommend them.

Wanted a resin bound drive for quite a while - it's a large area so it was not cheap so needed some careful thought & consideration of potential suppliers. Rhod & GravelTech gave some excellent advice - we were confident that they would transform our driveway positively, frankly other contractors couldn't convince us in the same way. We visited a job that had been done some years before & the friends/homeowners were still very complimentary about GT and the installation team. Having lived with the new driveway for nearly 6 months now I am delighted with the decisions we made - I don't mind the occasional sweeping, cleaning/washing needed to keep it looking good as new, it's just part of having a great driveway at the front of the house. If we ever needed GT to attend to any problems with the driveway in the future they give the impression they have good enough aftercare & brand integrity to oblige.

I contacted Graveltech on behalf of my elderly neighbour who needed her patio replaced. Rhod was very helpful during the estimation phase and had some amazing suggestions. Once the design and quote was finalised the work was started and completed on schedule. The on site team were tidy efficient and polite. They dealt with all our questions and final details. Graveltech recently carried out some work on our garden - laid a new patio and constructed a pergola and outdoor fireplace. This was our second time of using this company so knew to expect excellent workmanship and service and we were not disappointed. Rhod and Mike together with their very able team designed and produced an amazing resin front drive for me and a wide flight of shallow steps to my front door. It allowed plenty of room for pots of plants and the shallow steps enable me to walk down unaided despite disability. I found the whole experience was trouble free and the standard of work truly excellent. Their work force were remarkable. I am very pleased with the result, and am confident that this idea of non slip, permeable resin for my sloping drive will prove to be 'just what I needed'. I have been wanting to renovate my drive for a number of years. After my husband showed me a house with a resin drive, i decided that was what I wanted. I did my usual research and found 2 companies to quote. Graveltech from the very fist phone call with Rhodri were head and shoulders above the others. Rhodri spent around 1 hour with me after my husband sent him pictures of our drive with measurements. He came up with a couple of designs and a ballpark quote and then came over to measure up and go through everything including showing me samples. Rhodri came up great ideas which we went for and have completely transformed the front of our house. All our neighbours have asked about our drive and we have even had people knock on our door! The whole process was very slick, I was kept informed every step of the way. The only delay we had was due to the weather. I cannot recommend Graveltech higher enough, I will definitely use them again if we ever move.

We had an old car park to the rear of our house returned to a garden. Graveltech helped with the design to incorporate our requirements to include seating areas, pathways and a kids zone. The work was tricky given access restrictions to the rear of the house and the large amounts of tarmac to be removed and topsoil to be brought in. Despite the challenges, the work was carried out to time and to a very high standard. The workmen were attentive, very hard working and took the time to accommodate us when there were slight adjustments needed to the original plans. Needless to say, we were very excited about the design and delighted with the end results.

Very impressed. Rhod was really helpful in coming up with creative ideas to replace our old and tired patio. When the team was on site they took a lot of care to make sure our drive was protected and kept clean while they were removing all the old slabs at the back of the house and digging out ready for the new patio. Graveltech did an excellent job on our resin driveway and were very professional throughout. We spoke with several companies and Graveltech was competitively priced, but also came up with great ideas and added value to our project. In an industry with real shysters and timewasters, Graveltech is thoroughly professional, reliable and I would highly recommend.

We had our drive resurfaced which was concrete and worse for wear. They had to dig up the concrete which took two grab lorries to take away. The work entailed laying a membrane, hard core and tarmac before laying the resin bound surface. We also had a new door step added The whole process was professionally executed from the design stage, where all our queries were addressed, through the laying of the drive to completion. Everyone involved was very helpful (e.g putting out the recycle bins which had to be carried over the garden and delivering the post whilst work was in progress). We are totally delighted with the result and can highly recommend Graveltech.

A large choice of colour mixes was presented to me and the work carried out to a very high standard with excellent communication.

The works were completed to an extremely high standard. The resin drive really is a superb product. One of the security bollards was found to be defective and I received an email of when the replacement would arrive and be installed, and this was completed on the day they stated. I would highly recommend this company to anybody and to listen to their expect opinion regarding colours and materials.

The work was completed within schedule, cost and to my complete satisfaction, including reseeding part of our lawn, removing an old hedge and coming back to check that I was completely satisfied. Rhod popped over to see us, came up with a fantastic design combining resin bound gravel, artificial cobbles and black granite cobbles and slabs. All on time and to budget, the guys were great with every surface level carefully measured and double checked. Attention to detail is evident with all of Graveltec's staff.

Graveltech did a very professional job in removing our old drive and front garden which was a mix of old concrete and tarmac layers. They then installed a lovely resin bound surface, edged with black cobbles, also replacing an old door step and installing upright sleepers as boundary edging and a couple of flower beds to soften the look. All carried out extremely efficiently and quickly. We are very pleased.

On Rhodri’s initial inspection, he made some good suggestions regarding the layout of the new drive and recommended erecting a gate and fencing which would provide more privacy to our back garden. We were very impressed with the speed that the original drive was removed and the professionalism of the contractors. There were a couple of snagging items with the drive which were dealt with quickly. There was an issue with the gates, which had to be replaced and took longer to resolve but this has now been done to our satisfaction and was handled courteously by Mike. The new driveway and gates have definitely enhanced our property.

Having already used Graveltech for our driveway when it came to renewing our patio it was an obvious choice. The small gravel surface means you can walk on it in bare feet. After looking at 16 potential companies, and a lot of site visits we picked GravelTech. The two main reasons were: 1. Rhod was really experienced, listened to our requirements and sought to understand what we were trying to achieve rather than give us a quote for what we had asked for 2. Every other potential supplier quoted us on our brief. Rhod challenged us as to whether we had thought it through and then came up with a completely different design which we loved and eventually implemented almost exactly as he had sketched it in the first meeting. Whilst not the cheapest, Rhod and Mike convinced us that they had the experience and attitude that we could have confidence in placing our trust in them to deliver as per their promises. We have recently finished a long extension project and the driveway was the last piece in the jigsaw to finish off the house. Graveltech have done an amazing job! Rhodri made several suggestions to alter the shape of the lawns slightly so that the new bonded resin finish ran seamlessly to the front door following some much visually cleaner curves than we had before. We added further work during the job to build us a 'curved', rising, front entrance wall to the drive from Oak sleepers - and Mike didn't blink - finishing this superbly as well. Graveltech levelled the drive, the lawns either side of it, re-turfed them and planted shrubs and greenery in all the new beds that they suggested, and created. We were away when the final layer of resin bonded gravel was laid - and the smiles on our faces as we arrived home to such an amazing change to the front of the house (and the side path!) said it all. Great job gents, thank you very much. I also hear that my neighbour has now asked for a quote from you as he said to me "I feel as though I'm letting the road down now I've seen yours!". I have rarely had work done in such a professional manner, from a salesman (Rhodri) who offered excellent suggestions regarding the detail,including a idea I would never or thought of ( putting cobbles along the entrance of the garage to hide the concrete slab), to workmen who knew their job and turned up on schedule. I recently used Graveltech for my driveway. I had a combination of resin bound and sandstone. I asked a few local contractors but Rhodri was the only one that gave me some great ideas. I was originally going to have straight boring lines but he advised I introduce curves and also leave room for plants to make a feature. If you are looking for someone to inspire you and give suggestions then Rhodri is your man. In terms of the actual work they did, the finish was excellent. The workers (approx. 4 people) were clean, polite and very quick. I am so pleased with the end result. Also worth noting that some contractors said it was fine to resin over my old cracked concrete but Rhodri was adamant we needed to get rid of the concrete and install type 1 as this was the safest solution. I would recommend Graveltech to anyone that's needs their driveway renovated.

I wanted something different and first saw stone bonding some years ago but a quotation from another contractor at the time seemed high. I recently came across Graveltech’s website. I saw the fact that they are a “Which?” recommended contractor as a plus. Graveltech worked promptly, efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Clearly they take pride in their work, and made a number of helpful suggestions which improved upon my original ideas. My drive was liable to flood but porous stone bonding has completely eliminated that problem. When there is a deluge I no longer have to sweep away mud and water. The new drive has a bright, smooth finish. It has been much admired by visitors and has enlarged the space for parking and turning cars. The ‘kerb appeal’ itself has been significantly been lifted, giving the house itself an appearance of being new.
