Flat tyre repair

Had a flat tyre and although I could remove the wheel nuts the wheel was frozen to the steel on the axle. I was not at home so couldn’t sort it myself especially as I was limited as to what I could do due to pending surgery. The Green Flag app was easy to use and call was received from the mechanic within 15 minutes of asking for help. I was kept appraised of arrival time and the job was sorted within 45 minutes. Very professional and friendly service. Highly recommend these guys.

Arrived quicker then expected and before the expected time. First time having using my breakdown cover with my insurance and glad I chose yourselves. Both technician and Emma who I spoke with on the phone were very helpful and friendly and car was taken to a garage. I called at 6:11 and technician arrived by 6:47 so was very quick thankyou very much definitely feel reassured if I have to call you again!

Green Flag breakdown cover
The battery died on my car, I wasn't sat inside but my car locked down, with my house keys and purse locked inside. I rung Green Flag, Rhys the technician turned up within half hour, he was amazing. He was very reassuring and resourceful, although he was unable to unlock the door with his tools he was able to hook out my house keys, he then took me home to get my spare car key which had the barrel to bypass central locking. Back at the car, the door open, jump leads on and I was on my way to the garage within an hour. Green flag were also excellent whilst on the phone, very helpful, very positive and reassuring. What I thought would be a total nightmare was dealt with so promptly and professionally.

The communication is not great, due to someone on the phone assuming that because I had broken down in an industrial estate meant I was inside meant me, my 2 year old and my 3 month old baby were left in the cold, for 3 hours whilst waiting for recovery. I had to ring multiple times to chase this up, it wasn’t until I called them again that someone else realised that they had put down that I was in a house rather than out in the cold. The person who came to recover my car was great, and did call me to let me know when he was 20 minutes away. Had the correct details been taken in the first place and we were not left waiting we would have had a better experience unfortunately this was not the case.

Had a split tyre on my motorbike. Didn't come to check like a certain other recovery company (a yellow one!) So wasn't left standing around all day(like the yellow one did!) Came out & recovered me & my bike home with no bother.

Great Breakdown Service
Had a home puncture and couldn't get the wheel off due to a damaged lock nut. Phoned Greenflag and explained the situation they sorted my problem out straight away. They kept me informed what time the technician would arrive which was on time, he was very helpful, informative and best of all friendly. Never in 20 years plus being with Greenflag have I used them, but oh my word what a fantastic service. Thank you

I had a flat tyre on my way to visit relatives in Tarleton. It was a special occasion as it was a combined eightieth birthday for my mum and aunt. I rang Green Flag and they arrived quickly. Wayne was friendly and took me to Halfords to get my tyre replaced. I am very grateful to Wayne for helping me. It was really appreciated. I missed the party, but at least my car is running smoothly now.

Whilst on holiday on the Isle of Wight my car started to make an awful screeching noise, this got worse and I realised it wasn’t safe to drive as I was pretty sure it was metal on metal which was probably the brakes. I used the Green Flag app to contact them at approximately 9 am. by 11.15 my car was on the way to a garage. It was a stressful time as we were due to leave the Island 2 days later. However the garage was excellent, contacted me to say what needed doing and how much it would cost and assured me it would be ready later that day. It was. Excellent service from Green Flag and Bartlett's Garage.

I contacted Green Flag Recovery on Monday 7th October 2024 as my vehicle would not start. It had developed a complete power loss. The operator at Green Flag was very helpful and empathised with my situation. With the use of the app. on my mobile phone I could see how long the technician was away from me. He arrived twenty minutes before the estimated time. The technician (Robert) asked me what I knew about the vehicle's fault, then used a jumper booster to start the engine. I was delighted with his efforts and he was polite throughout the duration of his time with me. I can only say that my whole experience with Green Flag was one of satisfaction would definitely recommend Green Flag to friends and others.

I got through to an operator so quickly and Heather was so friendly on the phone. My car had just got a puncture and Heather organised the car being recovered and booked in a garage to be fixed the next day whilst I was at work. Amazing service!

@Michael was great at his job, however there was another wait for me as his controller was asking me to pay for the mileage home of £98 or wait even longer for parts to arrive after already waiting 3hrs on my own. Not @Michaels fault it was a lack of communication between Green Flag and the traders policy. @Michael gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

I have paid for your services for 8 years and the one time I needed you, I was asked “have you tried googling for a breakdown service”. I was left at a motorway services with a space saver wheel on the car. Your technician told me “DO NOT drive that wheel on the motorway” but then your ‘safety team’ deemed it safe to drive up to 300 miles on the motorway - which goes against your technician’s/ vehicle manufacturer/ and the tyre manufacturers instructions. I was left to drive 200 miles home on the motorway, not exceeding 50mph and every 25 miles I had to tighten the wheel bolts. This was in the top three worst experiences of my life.

My call to Green Flag was picked up virtually straight away. Pleasant operative gave me a time scale of one hour from the time of my call. The mechanic called me to say he was on his way, called me when he arrived and was within the time scale promised. He was efficient and identified the problem very quickly
