After breaking down in my father's car on the M18/M1 slip road, with a trailer on, I was relieved to hear my dad had breakdown insurance with Green Flag. I called and spoke to lady who was calm and collected. She took all the details and said someone would be with me within the hour. They were actually there with me in much less than an hour and loaded the vehicle straight away to get off the motorway to safety. Once parked at a safe point, the recovery driver ascertained that the vehicle wasn't fixable at the tissue and father's authorisation to recover to my final destination from the control centre. 5 minutes later we were en- route back to Manchester where my dad had arranged for it to be fixed and for me to get back home. The driver of the recovery truck was courteous, friendly and professional throughout and in General, Green Flag made what was a really stressful event into a manageable one. Very pleased with the service I received and will ensure I renew my own breakdown insurance with Green Flag.

I called on Sunday but in view of the fact that my local garage wouldn’t be open, I asked for the technician to attend on Monday. I was given a time slot of 9.00am - 11.00am. Technician messaged at 8.40 and was here by 9.00. Got the car going and emailed his report. Excellent, no nonsense service

Unfortunately this was the first time I needed to use mayday (green flag) and it wasn’t a nice experience. We were separated from our car and caravan after 13hrs of waiting for assistance and travelling home. The communications from green flag were misleading, inaccurate and unreliable, the text messages were also totally pointless as they never related to my breakdown, and the updates from staff kept telling me my vehicles were in Rotherham when all along they were in Leicester! They didn’t even know where they were. It took 4 days before I got my vehicles back. Not impressed.

Second time had to use Green Flag different cars but service was very good each time. Within 30/40 mins. Glad I switched from RAC. Last time I used them they gave me a time of six hours to arrive!. I class myself as unfortunate to need rescue twice but glad I had Green Flag to back me up.

Technician got my car going with ease and competence and in a very pleasant and civil manner. The technician also advised me why my car wouldn’t start and how to avoid a reoccurrence.

Locked out my car with the keys inside. Kids and weekly shop stuck inside and on show still in the ignition. If left overnight there was potential for the locals to steal the car. Speed call out and keys retrieved in the day. Well done Green Flag and especially Clair on the help desk putting my mind at ease. A1 service.

Excellent service from green flag, Gary was amazing, recovered my car and took us home, so helpful and efficient, I had my 11 year old girl with me so needed to get Home in good time, it was very hot outside so to not have to wait long was a bonus

The 2 guys from Slades Garage in Chard were great in our hour of news. They assessed the car and towed it off the road to a say area as I was in a live lane. From there he arranged recovery who came and loaded the car and caravan. Once they got me home he helped to put my van back into storage. They were both very polite and helpful and a great credit to themselves and their employer. Thanks guys

Green flag recovered my van after a breakdown, they kept me informed of the arrival time and who would be coming. They also sent me text message with a direct contact to the person arranging the recovery. It went very smoothly and I was very pleased with the service.

The call handler was very efficient. The technician arrived within 10 minutes and quickly resolved my problem.

I've been with Green flag for must be 7 years now and when I have had to use their services I've always had a quick response time always keep you up to date with what is going on weather you are in your car or a passenger with some one else excellent service to deal with I would recommend them to anyone.

There I was with a flat battery in North London on a Saturday afternoon with Football matches all around me. Green flag App was simple to use, and wait time was no more than 45 minutes even though it was the busy period. The Greenflag Technician was excellent, polite, knowledgeable and had me back up and running in no time. Well done Greenflag, I would definitely recommend.

My details were processed by the Greenflag Call Centre swiftly, without any holding delays. I was continually kept updated by text regarding the recovery service ETA, and called directly by the recovery provider when he was on his way. His service was marvellous, carefully assessing how to recover my vehicle without causing any damage. He kept me fully informed on his processes and advised me how to assist with control of my vehicle as he winched it backwards (to pull my front wheel out of a manhole, where it had dropped through the cover). He thoroughly assessed & inspected my vehicle for damage before & after the recovery, confirming that it appeared to have no need for repairs and was safe to drive. He was polite, well spoken and very considerate, minimising any disturbance to the surrounding domestic households (the recovery was carried out between 01:00-01:45 in the morning). Vehicle broke down in car park Recovery vehicle arrived in 40 minutes (less than the quoted time of 1 hr) Mechanic was polite and thoughtful and did what he could to rectify the fault. He followed me back to my house just around the corner and told me to call my garage and then contact Green Flag in the morning to arrange for my car to be taken to my garage of choice. I was satisfied with his explanation of what the fault might be and I thought he was extremely respectful and professional.

Around noon on pre-Bank Holiday Saturday both nearside tyres burst in a pothole. By the time that it became evident that something was amiss the car was in a narrow stretch of country road. I raised and completed the Green Flag AP questionnaire on my ‘phone and promptly received a call to clarify details. Within 2 hours a transporter arrived with a competent and helpful driver who managed to manoeuvre his vehicle, turn it round despite the very restricted lane and load my car up in some 20 minutes. With my agreement the car was taken to the local Green Flag agency where it was repaired and ready for collection by the evening of the next working day. I rate the foregoing as first rate customer service.

Rang Green flag and the mechanic attended within 30 minutes and the problem was fixed within ten minutes. The mechanic was very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us on our way!

Although I have been a member of Green Flag yesterday was the first time I had occasion to use the company when my car had broken down.From the initial contact with Green Flag who diagnosed the probable cause to organising the recovery of my vehicle total time elapsed was approximately 35 minutes l cannot recommend Green Flag highly enough and would recommend them to anyone

I shopped around for a breakdown cover and found Green Flag. Not only are they more affordable than the AA, they were at my front door within 30 minutes of making the call. Car battery needed replaced and he had one with him to replace it and I was back on the road in no time. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Superb service!

We picked up our car from the airport after a short break away, and found all the warning lights on and engine barely running. Contacted Green Flag through their app which took 5 minutes, they called me back within another 5 minutes and the recovery engineer was with us in a total of 30 minutes. Very clear description of what the problem was and had a fix with the car running within a total of 1 hour from app submission. Really can’t thank the professionalism and organisation of the team enough.

From calling Green Flag mechanic Robert of Cambrian Care Care was with me in under an hour and a half. Both Green Flag and Cambrian Care Care we exceptional. I was taken to my local garage - Troedyrhiw Garage, and the car was fixed the same day, how good is that?
