I had a flat battery at an airport car park and contacted Green Flag via the app. Having been told I would be attended to within 1 hour, the technician arrived after 10 minutes. I was telephoned to advise of his arrival and I was back on the road within 15 minutes, after the technician had performed various checks. Overall an excellent quick service which was exactly what I needed after a plane journey.

Booked roadside assistance via the app. I was kept regularly informed by phone as to where my driver was and roughly how long they would be. Work could not be carried out on roadside, so I was brought home along with my car. At all times the people I spoke to were courteous and polite.

He was timely and thorough. Explained what he was doing and highlighted the issues he was going along. Once complete he accompanied to the petrol station and made sure that restarted, which it didn't. So went through the bleeding process again. Then ok.

We broke down on a hot Sunday afternoon with a load of frozen shopping and a child with Additional Needs in the car. Within an hour of calling Green Flag, the mechanic had found us, fixed the problem and got us back on the road. His friendly manner and competence were very much appreciated by us all. Jason of Able Assist, you are a real star! This is why I have Green Flag. We would have been in real difficulty and lots of extra expense without the service yesterday.

Faujt was a flat 23v battery on my hybrid Prius. Not something I can resolve. Green Flag engineer arrived on time and I had a 15 minute arrival confirmed by phone Fault resolved in 10 minutes and even helped ensure my tyres were correct pressures. above and beyond what was expected

My vehicle would not start in the morning, and having accessed the Greenflag App and subsequent chat to a telephone operator, received a text message saying a road side technician would be with me, just over an hour from the initial report. This was followed up by a telephone call from the actual technician confirming time. The technician arrived on time, was very friendly with excellent communication skills, and methodically diagnosed the likely issues, but at no time appeared to be rushing. He explained the results effectively, started the van to allow me to get the van repaired. He arranged a recovery truck with my safety at mind, again punctual for the estimated time. The North West Greenflag technician called Andy Milliton was top drawer, as was the contracted Recovery truck operator from Hough Green Garage Ltd named Dan. So refreshing to interact with competent technicians with great interpersonal skills. Could not recommend highly enough.

Placed a breakdown call through my Green Flag app. Technician arrived a bit earlier than the app had stated which was great. Very polite and professional. Identified the fault and got the car going again quickly and also gave very usual advice regarding avoiding issues going forward. Excellent service and I would thoroughly recommend

Due to issues with my car I have called on Green flag who tried to fix the problem at the roadside given good advice and have never failed to help and returned me and my car back to my house safely and then taken my car to a garage of my choice. They have always kept me informed of how long they would be and never left me in danger.

Car failed on Petrol station forecourt. Initial contact via the app was unsatisfactory (said I was too close to home so my cover was ineligible)..so a call to Green Flag was necessary. That sorted the distance issue and rescue was triggered. Four and a half hours later, no rescue and I had to chase up Green Flag and the rescue contractor (Keltek Motors). App updates were poor and Keltek gave me a (new) rescue time that was not kept to. In the end I was rescued by some lads in a scaffolding truck who got the car started. I never knew if Keltek finally arrived, nor did I care. I suspect the Green Flag contractor does not have enough units and is therefore unable to respond to a 'surge' in demand (even minor). All in all a pretty dismal experience, and although dearer it's back to the RAC or AA for me.

The distance of the recovery would not lead to us to decline to attend, as whilst some of our policy levels apply a restriction on how far we’ll recover you, we’ll offer you to pay an additional charge if the recovery distance is outside your policy limit.

What an excellent service I received I was away for the weekend when my car broke down as I was about to set off I had my caravan with me so more stress as to how I get it back to storage but this was all sorted on the call the driver who arrive was fully aware he was dropping caravan off then car cannot thank green flag enough for a very fast and prompt service the breakdown truck was with me in just over an hour great respnse

The call to Green Flag was answered quickly, the told me the name of the firm that would be arriving, I received a text message to confirm the time. Then a phone call when the driver was about 10 minutes away. Two different people arrived - as the first tow truck was too large to collect my vehicle from a car park. Both carried out tests to see if they could repair it. As this could not be done, the vehicle was towed to a garage for diagnostic tests and for the repair to be carried out. This was done the same afternoon.

Green flag failed to respond to my breakdown ( broken gear linkage) because I'd limped to a garage who were then unable to fix my car, I'm now 400 miles from my car with no forecast to get it fixed. Green flag initially said they'd respond but when they discovered how far the recovery would be they changed their mind.

I had a serious problem with brakes on my vehicle, contacted Green Flag who were able to organise a low loader to collect my car and deliver to my local garage the very next morning , all done on time and I was kept informed the whole way. Car repaired and back with my lunchtime the same day! Great service !

Telephone call answered promptly. Recovery vehicle request sent within minutes. Telephone call received immediately after from recovery garage. Recovery vehicle arrived even earlier than expected. Taken to garage of my choice and then dropped at my home address. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend. Previously with the RAC. So pleased I changed to Greenflag . Had an issue with my car didn't want to drive any further, to minimise damage. I called Green Flag at about 17.15 on a bank holiday Monday. The way the call receiver treated my call was great, really professional, and helpful and found my whereabouts on a country lane on Anglesey within no time. I was told I was a priority as I was a woman on my own and that the technician would be with me in about an hour. I had a text message before I had finished talking to her with a essitmated time of arrival. Forty minutes later and the technician was there, where after explaining the problem put my car on the back of the truck and got myself and car safely home. He did this with such care and attention. I have been a member of Greee Flag for about 12 years and have always had great service. I would not hesitate to recommend this breakdown / recovery company.
