What a pleasure to deal with, from the friendly and efficient booking on the phone, to the professional and friendly service in the home. The sweep and service were carried out cleanly and quickly and room left like you never knew they were there. Special thanks to John (technician) who was amazing to deal with, no question was a bother and all were answered professionally and with a smile. Will definitely be using again. When we moved to our new home the fireplace in the lounge had been bricked over. We wanted to open it up and add a woodburning stove to add warmth & cosiness to the room. We initially visited the Green Man showroom for ideas; there was so much choice we didn't know where to start. The lady talked over our initial thoughts and we booked a site visit with their technicians. After an exploratory inspection of the the chimney and fireplace we discussed the options. We settled on an inset stove. We visited the showroom again to choose the stove and booked an installation date; we counted down the days - couldn't wait! The day arrived and after a few minor tweaks the stove was fitted. The disruption was kept to an absolute minimum and care was taken to cover the area and walkways with protective sheets. A demonstration of how to operate the stove was given. I had had my mind set on a free standing stove, so glad it wasn't possible as the outcome is AMAZING. Everyone at Green Man are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; a big thank you to you all.

The maintenance on the stove, they installed, was done by a polite, professional person, who left the room clean and tidy. Office staff are similarly polite and professional. Fee was very reasonable too.

Very nice company to deal with. One man came to do the job, He came, took off his boots at the door, laid carpet protection down and used a hoover to keep the dust to a minimum. He cleaned out the entire stove, hoovered all the ash then did a full efficient sweep. He used a good full brush - (I've had other sweeps use a brush with barely any bristles). He was professional and informative - he was willing to explain and impart knowledge. After he left I noticed he'd run a polish cloth over the stove and the limestone hearth leaving it very neat and pretty- and - he'd cleaned the glass in the stove. Very good chimney sweep service

Green man stoves fitted a hearth beam for me. Very professional from the assistant in the store showing me options, to discussing different forms of beam, quotes for various beams and helpful when I asked questions. On choosing a detailed quote was sent so I knew exactly what I would be paying. An appointment for fitting was arranged promptly, emails to confirm date and time and reminders were sent which was very helpful. The fitters arrived promptly on the date and time agreed, respected my property, fitted the beam quickly and efficiently and showed me where the beam could be unscrewed from the fixing plate for decorating. Fitters very polite and friendly. On the whole an excellent experience

I was delighted with the service from Green Man Stoves from start to finish. At my first enquiry I was given advice in order to minimise the cost of the work i.e. to combine a sweep with servicing needs. An operative was sent the very next day to undertake the work. He was incredibly efficient, clean and helpful. Rarely have I been so impressed by the quality of service.

They gave great advice on material selection and were clear and informative about the fitting process and cost. Three dates were agreed, one for each stage of the work. Green Man Stoves came to do our annual sweep. We have always used them since they installed our stove. They arrived on time. They were careful and respected our property. Work was completed without fuss and our lounge was left clean. Very pleasant experience and the person doing the work was polite and friendly.
