About
We are a family-run Tree Surgery and Gardening business based in Horsted Keynes, West Sussex. We have been in business since 1996 in which time we have thrived as a business due to our reliability, high work standard and attention to detail. We offer a range of services, anything from lawn care to emergency storm damage, which are always implemented with care and precision. We offer our clients our knowledge, judgement and thoughts on a one-to-one basis with a friendly manner and approach.
Our business is run by partners Deborah Lewis & Duncan Baker, and son Lloyd Jerrey. We have a combined experience of nearly 40 years and a range of qualifications ranging from National Proficiency Training Council tickets to National Diplomas in Horticulture.
Our public Liability insurance ranges from our basic £5 million cover to £10 million cover depending on the job and specification.

The job on May 10th 2024 was to reduce by approx half a high and very thick conifer hedge. Not only was the hedge high it was also wide across the top. The job was done expeditiously and all the cut material of which there was a great deal was either chipped or taken away. I was very pleased with the result. Greyhound have done a lot of work for me over many years and have always done very good work, eg tree trimming. tree felling and hedging. What is good is that if Duncan (the tree surgeon) is running late he will let me know by phone, he is always on time and clears up very well after completing a job. I recommend Greyhound Tree & Garden Services 100%!

Duncan has cared for our garden for several years and recently did some major work cutting back trees, hedges and house ivy and roses. His work is always of a very high standard, He leaves everything neat and tidy and is a genuinely great guy. His pricing is also very fair and very competitive. We would definitely recommend.

Seriously professional and hard-working, Greyhound are a great team for large and small gardens. Friendly, very trustworthy, helpful and accommodating, they worked exceptionally hard clearing, trimming, pruning and tidying. Nothing was too much trouble, despite it being very hot, and they achieved a huge amount in one day, leaving everything neat and very tidy. it was a great pleasure to have them working on my garden. Professional service, excellent quality of work, and all with a smile and a great sense of humour. Highly recommended.

We used Greyhound Tree and Garden services to remove two tall Cedar trees approximately 35 feet high from our garden. Their work was excellent. A competitive estimate was quickly supplied, followed by a very efficient removal of the trees, shredding and total removal of all branches. What was particularly pleasing was to observe a firm with a positive, enjoyable, hard working attitude. A pleasure to have them working in our garden.

Duncan and Lloyd felled a tree and tidied up the overgrown garden at our new house. We couldn't be happier with the service they provided. They were very friendly and professional throughout and did a superb job. Nothing was too much trouble, they listened to what we wanted and the results are spot on. Duncan and his colleague spent a day clearing overgrown small trees and shrubs. They worked very hard and were very tidy. As well as being equipped with all the tools required for the job they also gave their own wood chipping machine on a trailer.
