35 years after my garage was first bought the asbestos roof deteriorated so much it was like being in the shower when it rained, rang round for re-roofing quotes then looked up the original manufacturer, Pudsey Concrete, it appears in 35 years there have been a lot of buyouts etc and Grimston came up as a recognised local company specialising in re-roofing and asbestos removal, they also gave a very attractive low price and early start date. Instead of the existing multiple overlapped panels they would use 3 box section steel sheets the full length of the garage with new matching verges to replace the rotted timber originals, the guys turned up 8.30 and I left them to it, 3 hours later they had finished and a lovely job they had done too. I can recommend Grimston to anyone wanting a garage or just repairs to any make whether it is asbestos replacement, new doors, etc

Contacted after our garage was damaged due to an accident on our drive causing damage to the garage door and surround, all the staff from the office to the guys that came out were absolutely brilliant, they managed to fit us in just before they shut down for Christmas, the work they have done is top quality and our garage looks fantastic, turned up on time, really friendly and their work was top quality, they were impeccable and tidied all the waste away and left the area as found. Would 100% recommend, thank you

I needed two asbestos garage roofs replacing, I was let down previously by a company that went bust. Grimston was by far the best price, and the quality of the roofing was excellent, it took about five hours to replace both roofs. They were very professional and hard working. It was a metal roofing system they installed, there was no cutting or forcing, it fit the garages perfectly. They wore all the correct safety gear to remove the asbestos safely and cleaned up when they finished. Thank you Shaun. I would highly recommend Grimston.

I had my garage refurbished - asbestos roof removed and replaced, new roof trusses, door, side door, window, verges and guttering. Excellent service from start to finish, from initial contact with Andrea (who was extremely helpful and answered various queries along the way), Shaun coming out to assess the work needed and the workmen doing a fantastic, neat, tidy and efficient job. I am very pleased with all the work undertaken and cannot recommend Grimston Concrete Garages highly enough - very trustworthy. Thank you

We called a few compaines for a quote to refurbish our garage, Grimston were the only ones to come and look at the job. Shaun was friendly, explained the work that would be carried out, which entailed replacing an asbestos roof with galvanised steel, verge boards down the side, new side door, replacement back window and a pvc front. We got a written quote through the post a few days later, which was best out of all we had contacted, we arranged a date for the work to be carried out. The workmen arrived at just after 9am, did an excellent job cleaned up left no mess. Grimston Garages are a small family firm, both Shaun and Andrea are helpful, friendly i can highly recommend them it was a pleasure to do business with them

We needed a new garage door, we a had a few people out to give us an estimate. Grimston were the most reasonably priced. Not only that they actually turned up to do the job,unlike some other companies. Grimston supplied and fitted a very smart black door we are very pleased.

We paid 1,390.00 for a garage door and a galvanised roof, on our garage, we had patches of rain before the job was done inside the roof, we were assured these would dry out, they never did, it got worse and worse, when we rang to complain we were told the guarantee had run out so after a while we have now got rain coming in to our home as the garage is at the side of our house, we are now paying for someone to fix it, he told us the fitters have not put any flashing on and not sealed the roof or placed the lining so the rain runs off, we have had nothing but issues since the galvanised roof was put on. All they did was put it on top of the other, it made no difference whatsoever, it was a complete waste of money !!! Will not recommend or use Grimston again.
