H. Herbert Bathrooms and Kitchens

After a fantastic bathroom renovation in early 2025, we invited Hywel & his team back in Feb-26 for a much larger project. They renovated our kitchen, utility room, downstairs cloakroom & hallway; created an en-suite; replaced the garage & side-extension roofs; & converted a bedroom into a walk-in wardrobe with space for our washing machine & dryer. The project involved extensive structural work, including removing walls, ceilings, & a chimney breast, installing RSJ steels, re-pitching the extension roof, replacing fascias, soffits & gutters, fitting bifold doors/UPVC windows, replastering & painting, new lighting, relevelled floors & LVT. They completed all plumbing & electrics, plus external lighting, CCTV & an outside electrical point. As with any major renovation, unexpected challenges arose, incl. a hidden manhole beneath the utility floor & an existing extension that had not been properly connected to the main house. Hywel provided practical solutions & kept everything on track. His organisation, attention to detail & coordination of suppliers & waste removal made the whole process remarkably smooth. He also suggested ideas that improved the finished result. The team were friendly, professional & respectful, working tirelessly to achieve an exceptional finish, & promptly returned to resolve snags. Once again, Hywel & his team delivered outstanding workmanship & a family feel service. We wholeheartedly recommend them & we're excited about project #3.

Very nice group of lads, left my house in their care, while on holiday, was extremely pleased with my new bathroom, walk in shower, bath taken away, as the weather was very hot for them to work in, no mess was left, absolutely fabulous.
