We cannot praise this company and its staff too highly. Ours was a substantial move (approx 200 boxes) and H&O handled it well; on schedule and without hassle. They are professional, methodical, careful and cheerful. Moving is stressful, but H&O's people reduced the pressure! The men who carried out the move were a joy to work with; thorough, considerate and good-humoured. They did a great job for us, and we would certainly use H&O again.

Hadley and Ottaway undertook our move very professionally, we decided to pack our selves. Hadley and Ottaway, provided the packing materials a week before the move, there was more than enough, however if we required more we were informed to let them know. On the day of the move they arrived at 0700 and started moving our items straight away. They provided wardrobe boxes on the day of the move, as they made up the boxes they gave them to my wife to load. The staff of Hadley and Ottaway were very professional and polite, they took good care of the flooring ensuring that carpets were covered both on the out and the in. They took good care of our furniture and loading the boxes. After all our items had been loaded into the vehicles the team left the property, after we had completed a thorough check to ensure nothing had been left behind. The senior member of staff provided us with his mobile phone number, so that we could contact him once all monies from the sale and purchase had gone through. Once we received the keys to our new property we contacted the member of staff to inform him. They were at the new property within 10 minutes, it only took them 2 hours to unload the two vehicles. After the move, once we had emptied all the packing boxes, we gave them a call to come and collect them, which they did within two days. It is good that they reuse as much of the packing material as possible, which saves going to landfill.

I would 100% recommend Hadley & Ottaway to you. We had a complicated move as we had to break our chain and go into storage. Plans changed frequently, but Darren and his team always accommodated the changes with patience and understanding. I would use the over used phrase of "they when above and beyond" but they really did. We moved 6 hours away, the load from our house into storage and then to our new home was very smooth and professional. All of the delivery men were obviously happy in their work, friendly and so helpful. As I say, 100% recommended.

Hadley and Ottaway was the removals company I used for my recent house move. From the initial meeting regarding a quotation to the final collection of the boxes I'd used, the service provided by this company was exceptional. Not only was everyone I encountered, both face to face and on the phones, efficient and helpful but they were also very patient and just plain nice when I consulted them about any concerns or worries I had before and during moving day. I have nothing but praise for the guys who did the move itself. They inspired confidence with their calm and can-do approach, they were completely professional and we even managed to have a laugh which is just what you need on a stressful and emotional day. It is rare these days to find a company that offers such a quality service. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Moving 2 days before Christmas is not ideal but the whole process was made so much easier because of the excellent service we received from every member of our removals team. From the very first telephone contact we were impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness and flexibility of both the office staff and the removal staff. The quotes were very easy to understand, unlike another company we had contacted. The price was excellent for a long distance move over three days. The two staff who moved us were so sincere, friendly and considerate. They were on time each day and packed and unloaded our possessions with care. Follow up communication with the office staff has also been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Our three-day move from Norfolk to Warwickshire went without a hitch. From packing on day one to unloading on day three, the crew was efficient, polite, friendly, and treated our belongings as if they were their own. A very professional company which I can highly recommend.

From the start, this company demonstrated skill, professionalism and understanding. The packing, loading and the move in over two days went smoothly. The team were well led and worked with us to leave a house that was our home for 18 years into a different new property that will be our home for many years.

It was a wet February day but the team were cheerful and didn't complain once about the weather. They arrived at 8am as agreed and got on with the job. Careful with our belongings and went the extra mile to get our large sofa through a small doorway. They protected carpets and doorways on both properties too. No muddy footprints. We were all moved in by 4pm. Brilliant job. Prior to the move, they delivered boxes when we needed them and then collected them promptly after we had unpacked. Very useful wardrobe boxes. The quoted price was kept to. Everyone was helpful when we phoned them with our questions. From the first visit to the last box, the whole team were great. We have no hesitation in recommending Hadley & Ottaway.

We had lived in the same house for 46 years, so moving was emotionally and physically quite a big deal for us. Our son had worked for Hadley and Ottaway when he was a student, so we knew the company proved good staff training and maintained high standards. I can honestly say that the team surpassed our expectations. They were very efficient, helpful, flexible and had a good sense of humour which made the whole thing far less stressful than we had anticipated. Highly recommended!
