Since 1928 Hadley & Ottaway has been a household name for removals, and in particular removals in Norwich. With 90 years experience, carrying out careful shipping, removals and storage services for some of the most discerning clients. No job is too big or too small for our team of expert removals staff.
At Hadley & Ottaway, everyone cares about your move. Many of the removals and office staff have been with the company for years and really understand just how important it is for removal companies to make sure that everything goes smoothly with your relocation. Our experience means that we can make moving home or office as seamless as possible, relieving you of any stress or worry during the moving period.
Our head office is based in the East Anglia region - this is the centre of operations as there is a dedicated training room, where new recruits and 'old hands' learn to pack delicate porcelain, barometers, grandfather clocks and pianos.

A very difficult emotional experience was made easy and stress cut to the minimum. I thought the cost 'expensive' until done - 'No way' - worth every penny and certainly earned. Hadley & Ottaway moved me locally within Norfolk. They arrived on time in 2 clean, well maintained and tidy vans, were professional throughout and very efficient. They had a very long wait for keys but were still cheerful and efficient when I finally arrived at my new property. Everything was handled with great care from the initial estimate visit to the final box. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We have moved several times over the years however we have never had such excellent service. The removal men were friendly, professional and very kind. The whole move was organised really well and the company made it as least stressful as possible. The men were polite and always attentive. Each item was carried in with care and placed in the correct room or place. Our move lasted for 2 days but it was made to seem relatively effortless. We are still impressed. We can totally recommend this company. They collected our boxes after the move and as usual arrived on time and were totally polite and pleasant.

I was very pleased with my experience with Hadley & Ottaway. All the way through from the quote stage to completion of the job everything happened just as they said it would. Moving is a very stressful time and anything that can help reduce the stress is welcomed and they certainly did that for me. They delivered ample boxes in plenty of time for us to pack. Our home was uplifted on time and arrived at the other end unscathed and we had enough time to unpack before they arranged collection of the boxes. All the staff were very helpful right the way through too. I couldn't ask for any more.
