Since 1928 Hadley & Ottaway has been a household name for removals, and in particular removals in Norwich. With 90 years experience, carrying out careful shipping, removals and storage services for some of the most discerning clients. No job is too big or too small for our team of expert removals staff.
At Hadley & Ottaway, everyone cares about your move. Many of the removals and office staff have been with the company for years and really understand just how important it is for removal companies to make sure that everything goes smoothly with your relocation. Our experience means that we can make moving home or office as seamless as possible, relieving you of any stress or worry during the moving period.
Our head office is based in the East Anglia region - this is the centre of operations as there is a dedicated training room, where new recruits and 'old hands' learn to pack delicate porcelain, barometers, grandfather clocks and pianos.

Excellent removal company, couldn't fault them. They had three floors to contend with, with a huge amount of stuff on the floor. The move was over three days was very organised, minimal stress, guys worked very hard and just got on with it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good reliable removal service.

Hadley & Ottaway Ltd arrived on time on the day of our move from London to Norfolk. They organised the packing of their van very efficiently, moving us from our flat, then travelling to our lock-up. They again packed everything on their own leaving us to travel confidently to Norfolk. The next day, they unpacked swiftly leaving us content.

This was the second time in a two year period that H & O moved us- first into temporary accommodation & second into a yet to be finished self-build. The packing and moving went smoothly and they gave good advise for longer term self-storage. Patient with us needing to keep boxes!

The best move we have ever had thanks to the professionalism of the kind staff. Everything was wrapped carefully and nothing was damaged but more importantly they considered our comfort and needs at every stage. The new address was not the easiest to access but it was never mentioned as a problem and didn't seem to slow them. When we had unpacked they reacted swiftly and picked up the boxes and packing material the next day. We are not moving again but if we did we would want to employ them.

Why would I go anywhere else if we were not more than pleased with their service. On time, well prepared, neat, clean, and courteous and polite staff. TVs, mirrors and pictures wrapped and packed carefully. Wardrobe boxes supplied for all hanging clothes. Front door protected as we're all carpets and floors. We have one more move planned so guess who we will go to.

The initial survey was professional and the advice was very helpful. Their moving pack was helpful to us. Once agreed on both sides with quotation, boxes and packing material came in time for us to pack. On day of moving the removal team were on time and all protection was put on doors etc, and dust sheets put down. They bubble wrapped the TV, Mirror and Leather chairs. Completed on time ready to go to new property. Unloaded in good time with no breakages. A job well done. No hurry to collect boxes when emptied. A truly professional company with great teams to carry out the work. I would recommend to anyone.
