I love this company! Hale and Murray have two real stars at the helm, Julie and Norman. Their experience, professionalism and customer service is second to none. They are a delight to deal with and you instantly realise you are in very safe hands. They designed and installed a beautiful kitchen and two bathrooms for me. I continue to gaze wondrously at them. The quality of their materials and their tradesmen are first class and it was all meticulously organised and delivered on time. I was managing things remotely from London and feared I might be heading for a mega headache that way, but not with Hale and Murray. They managed everything brilliantly from first contact to the finishing touches. They liaised with other tradesmen involved in the refurbishment such as builders and flooring fitters and I just sat back and watched it all happen! What a huge relief. Also I thought I had a leak when I first used the shower but it was operator error as it turned out as I realised I had managed to spray the whole room. However, the moment I contacted Hale and Murray they arranged for the plumber to come immediately. I’m not used to this level of service. They take customer service very seriously I’m delighted to report. I recommend them without a single hesitation. They are marvellous. Three cheers for Hale and Murray 👏👏👏

We are delighted with our updated bedroom. From our first visit to the showroom/factory we were very impressed with the quality of the fitted wardrobes and the fact that they are manufactured on site. Hale and Murray provide a one stop shop service. Our installation involved removal of a fireplace, extra electric sockets and skimming walls and ceiling, all trades needed were arranged and delivered on schedule. Friendly, tidy and efficient. We found the whole process from the first visit to the workshop through to completion a professional, efficient and very friendly process. The assistance given during the ordering process was knowledgable and empathetic to our needs. From order to installation was only 3 weeks and the completed job was within the original cost and schedule. The fitting process was very professional, carried out by friendly installers who took great care to ensure there was no damage as part of the job required removal of existing wardrobes. We were delighted with the quality of the product and the efficiency of all people involved in the process from sale to installation and would highly recommend them.

I had a kitchen extension built in 2022 and decided to use Hale and Murray to fit a new kitchen as my Father used this company in the 1980s and again in the 2010s. The kitchen is perfect. One slight problem with the built-in bins was quickly solved. Therefore, being pleased with my kitchen I decided to ask Hale and Murray to fit out my office. I handed over a back door key, went on holiday, came home to a beautiful office. I can thoroughly recommend this company. They carried out the job exactly as I asked and to an agreed price. Got home to find the area was clean. A very trustworthy company who deposited my key afterwards through my letter box. Finally, the staff are very helpful, friendly, and polite. Their after sales service is exceptional.

We were recommended Hale and Murray by a local neighbourhood on-line app - we were looking for high quality fitted storage solutions in a large upstairs bedroom with challenging angles and apex ceilings. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Julie was so thorough and professional from the very start of the process and throughout, with two home visits required to get the angles and measurements absolutely exact. Only a few weeks lead-in time and we were kept informed and updated at every step of the process. The team that fitted the furniture were a delight to work with - they worked absolutely non-stop in a difficult work space in very warm weather but always with a smile on their face. This is an excellent company - a very high quality product with which we are absolutely thrilled. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Very approachable upon first meeting, and good working relationship all through the work with all staff involved. Firm recognises it’s expertise point and has contractors who do some elements of the work, electrical and plumbing for example. Very professional, measure twice cut once attitude. Discussed our needs, flexible when changes were required when we thought about how it would fit how we live. Made suggestions to enhance our vision. Able to adapt to our time frames, which were complex! All elements happened on schedule, and work done efficiently and tidied up at the end of each day. Very comfortable in checking if we were happy with progress and in consulting any concerns which are likely to arise in any work done. We are left with a quality product, which the photographs just do not do justice. The gadgets and design suits the way we live to perfection. As they build the units themselves, and they are happy to show you this process, we have a bespoke kitchen, no wasted space, and they were able to replace utility doors so it flows beautifully. Customer service we cannot fault, and felt confident at all steps in a process which has brought pride back to the centre of our home. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you.

Really good quality wardrobes and installation finished to a high standard. Quick response to quote request and fair price for the result. Good lead time for fitting as well. We had two eaved angled wardrobes fitted the same day and very happy with them, would recommend.

I can happily recommend Hale and Murray as a very good supplier and installer of built in wardrobes. Following a visit to my house to take measurements of the wardrobe area I went to their showroom in Poole during March 2022 and was given helpful and friendly advice on the different wardrobe options by Julie. The quotation was sent to me in a timely manner. I decided to proceed with the wardrobe installation in the week of Easter Monday. The fitter from Hale and Murray arrived at the agreed time and did a fine job of installing the wardrobe to a high standard and in just a few hours. The built in wardrobe with mirrors on the sliding doors was manufactured by Hale & Murray at their factory in Poole and it looks very pleasing to look at, a big improvement on my previous free standing wardrobe both aesthetically and in terms of much more storage space. Expect to pay a bit more than buying wardrobe units from places such as B & Q, but much better quality.

I can highly recommend Hale & Murray for kitchens. I only had a small, very dated, somewhat dark kitchen to start with, but it has been completely transformed. I have ended up with extra work surface, because of the new layout and all of my cupboards go to the high ceiling (the tallest cupboards that Hale & Murray had ever undertaken apparently!). This meant that I now have the extra storage I needed. Apart from the fact that my kitchen now looks really lovely, being light and airy, it is just so much better to work in! I couldn't be happier. We are really pleased with our new fitted kitchen. From our home visit to the finished kitchen, everyone was polite and helpful. We liked the fitting schedule of work to be carried out so we knew what trades were due on the day and date, with update calls from the office with times. What can we say, Hale & Murray, are a first-class family-run company, where nothing is too much trouble. Efficient, conscientious, hardworking, friendly, excellent value for money, combined with first-class workmanship. In just a couple of days, they transformed our very dated master bedroom into a modern, contemporary bedroom, which included fitted wardrobes with shelving, bedside tables with over the bed cupboards, dressing table, tall chest of drawers etc. Their aftercare service was exemplary we didn't even have to worry about making good our coving, as it was replaced to match the existing. The quality of the products we very high standard and everything was on budget. Staff in the office and showroom were always available and in contact right through the build schedule. We only popped in to look at some kitchen equipment on a rainy Saturday morning, but ended up asking for a quote, and then signing up for a new kitchen. Norman, Julie, Jo and Nigel were all really helpful in choosing the items with us, and they were so quick to put the designs together and give us a quote. We were really impressed to be given a programme of works, so that we knew which tradesmen would be coming on which day, and could see how the work would progress. All the tradesmen were lovely and worked very tidily in our home. Rod, who fitted the kitchen units, was great, and made a point of coming in to us on his way into work, to deal with a couple of minor issues. The company has their own workshop, so that can make up most of the units, to a high standard. We would definitely recommend them.

Prompt and thorough work from planning to completion of a downstairs cloakroom. Plumber ,fitter and tiler all showed attention to detail to complete a excellent job.

We just popped in to look. The warm welcome and attention made us return the next day to sit with Norman to design a kitchen for our flat in London. Two hours later, after plenty of laughs and great coffee with contributions from Julie and Nigel, called in from the workshop, we walked out with our plans to cross check with builder. Three or four design and measurement adjustments as well as numerous phone calls were never too much trouble. Once this order was finalised we realised we needed a run of wardrobes. These were designed following another couple of sessions with Norman and the team. They were manufactured with speed, so our builder was able to collect them together with the kitchen units filling a Luton van. Michael, our builder was very impressed with the workshop and the team behind the scenes. We returned for a further cupboard, bookshelf and wall unit This is a go-to firm for good value and a great product matched with excellent service and an after care where nothing was too much trouble.

We replaced a 21 year old kitchen fitted by this company in 1998 and have every anticipation that our new one will last as long! They were thorough and efficient from planning through to the final touches and flexible to fit in with our electricians. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Having just moved in I had my separate fridge and freezer located out in the Porch but my appliances could not cope with the elements of hot weather. So I contacted Hale and Murray to make alterations to the kitchen which they updated 2 years previously for my dad to freshen the appearance up, I knew where I wanted the new appliances to go but was not sure if it was durable. I was amazed what Hale and Murray produced on plan, they had the new appliances built in and gave me extra cupboards as well. The result is excellent workmanship done by friendly craftsmen in good timing and producing top quality workmanship and materials, all the units are flush level and in uniform to the existing kitchen. The cost is good value for money as it speaks for the brilliant work that will be produced and the results that you are left with. My dad used Hale and Murray many many years ago to have this Kitchen installed as new into the extension he built. I am sure if my dad is looking down on me now he will be giving me the thumbs up for a good decision made and for the good Company and Craftsmen I used. Hale and Murray I will always recommend you and will use you for future plans I have on my home.

We had been to a few places to get our kitchen done but no one could do what we wanted. We looked on line for local trades men and found Hale and Murray. What a find we popped in to see them, they were very friendly and helpful.They came round almost straight away, we told them what we wanted and a few days later we saw the plans it was exactly what we asked for, nothing was left off!! Then to top it all the quote for the work was within budget very reasonable for a bespoke kitchen! They gave us a schedule for the fitting and it was all done to plan. They came across a large deep hole in the floor that was covered by the old units which they fixed at a small cost. Even when one unit didn't fit as the wall was not straight, it was taken away and put right the same day! We love the finished result and would highly recommend them perfect job done to schedule and budget!

Hale & Murray fitted our original kitchen including Neff appliances 14 years ago & everything has performed faultlessly over that time. As they were still in perfect condition, we decided to upgrade the existing base units, with new doors, lights, sink, taps & all new Neff appliances (cooker, combi microwave, warming drawer, induction hob unit, washing machine & dishwasher). They completed the work on the agreed schedule in one day, with excellent planning of the various trades to carry out the fitting. The overall price was very reasonable, including excellent pricing of the appliances. The advice and support given by Julie Stevens and the team was first class.

After looking at many of their competitors in the area, we finally settled for Hale and Murray, mainly because of their great reputation and friendly service. We have not been disappointed, all their staff and the sub-contractors that they used have been highly skilled, professional, polite and courteous. The quality of the design, planning, project management, preparation, fitting, and customer service have all been outstanding. Also outstanding is the quality of the units that they manufacture themselves. We may not be the easiest of customers to please. Julie was very patient with us during the design process. During the installation there were a few things along the way that were a cause for concern to us, but these were handled impeccably by Hale and Murray and the final result is an impressive new kitchen that we are more than happy with. We could not have picked a better company than Hale and Murray and would not hesitate to use them again, or in recommending them to friends and family.

Completely new fitted bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom including new ceilings, electrical work and flooring. Nothing too much trouble, lots of helpful advice from Norman, Julie, Nigel and the fitter Andy was brilliant - when asked his opinion he always gave an honest answer and nothing was too much trouble. A fairly big job all completed to schedule. Would highly recommend this company.

Our kitchen was fitted March 2017. After much deliberation by us we chose the kitchen to replace our previous one which had been fitted by Hale and Murray in 1989! Just as pleased second time around, they accommodated all our wishes and it is working brilliantly. The fitters were excellent and as before completed the job promptly. The entire process was a breeze from the start. There's no hard sale ,unlike the national chains. The entire team that fitted our kitchen were very professional. Even repaired a gas leak to our boiler that NPower and Scottish Power couldn't find. The quality of the units and the build is first class. We now have plenty of storage & work top. From the very start Julie was patient and worked with us to create our perfect bedroom! I am, as many will testify, an very particular and a little bit OCD when it comes to things being just so. They took on board all my ideas and requirements (and the odd one of my husband's) and made our dream bedroom a reality! Their prices are extremely competitive and the build and work quality is exceptional! Their workmen are friendly, conscientious and tidy. We had no reservations leaving them on their own in our home! I really wish we knew about them before we had our kitchen done a few years back as we were so impressed by their service and attention to detail! They even arranged extras like mirrors and glass tops to add to the units we ordered and fitted these all too! The flooring company they recommended were also amazing!
