We had a large fitted wardrobe fitted with 6 doors. We had a excellent service from start to finish. The original guy who came to measure up and give us a quote knew what he was talking about. He was confident compared to the two other company reps we had in our home. He returned to help us choose our colour and knobs and couldn't have been more helpful. Although we had to rearrange our fitting date a couple of times, the fitter was excellent. A tidy, professional worker with good attention to detail. Communication throughout was excellent. The Hammonds portal was easy to use. We highly recommend Hammonds and love our wardrobes. Hammonds really stood out against their competitors offering a good range, regular contact and updates and quality product.

FittEn an Office cum hanging space in spare bedroom. Our experience was a positive one. Any issues were cleared with adequate explanations. The fitter came on the day at the appointed time, any problems encountered were dealt with at the time. Have to say only one issue was raised by the fitter & he also consulted his supervisor. At the end of the day all was left clean and tidy. On the final day he went through explaining how the fittings worked and were we satisfied. Which we are.

I asked Hammonds to survey a bedroom and to provide suggestions for bedroom furniture. They sent a surveyor on the date agreed and he was not pushy at all and asked me what I was looking for. I explained that I did have a lot of space in other bedrooms so I needed a limited amount of space to allow its use mainly as a guest room. He designed a lovely furniture arrangement taking up corner space with a mirror front and quite generous clothing room inside. In addition he suggested an 4 drawer chest of drawers alongside the corner unit and two smaller bedside cabinets. I am sure that, for a company like Hammonds, it was a relatively modest design and cost but it was exactly what I needed. The arrangements for the fitting and the payments went smoothly and I was, and remain, extremely happy with the results. I will certainly call Hammonds again when I decide which room is next for improvement.

Hammonds representative was very through and presented us with a detailed plan of work to be carried out with a quotation. He did put a little pressure to make a decision there and then. But we took sometime to finalise the plan. There was a wait for the work to be carried out, about 6, 8 weeks but we didn't mind. The work is done to a good professional standard and we are very pleased with the results. Two carpenters carried out the work to a good Hammonds standard. They were both very pleasant and helpful. We are happy and would recommend Hammonds to improve the homes.

The individuals I met as part of the process of deciding, planning, designing and implementing the cupboards were polite, helpful and efficient. However, the office function was extremely poor. My messages were not answered, so much so - that I wondered if the company was going into liquidation at one stage. This needs addressing urgently. The process is dependent on customers having a computer and wifi so those without that would not be able to have the service of company. Those of us who are older, but do have the computers etc, need help with using the software. This is not available. The carpenter was excellent and worked very closely with me. The end product is very good.

I purchased a bespoke craft and wardrobe installation from Hammonds. It was designed and installed expertly and I was delighted with the result.

The whole process was handled well from the salesman- surveyor and the excellent fitter who's work was top drawer.

Built in set of three wardrobes in a dressing room with soft closing doors and internal extras e.g rails & a useful pull down rail, shoe racks, open shelving, a 5 drawer unit, internal mirror on door and interior lighting. The workmanship was superb and their agent initially visited my property to ascertain my requirements, suggest suitable layout and ensure selected design met all my needs. Choice of building materials extensive and overall cost very fair considering quality of build. Kept informed throughout construction at factory and estimated install date. Had some difficulty signing-in to my account for these updates and invoices but agents at hand via phone for guidance. Delivery within original given time frame. The fitter/carpenter was excellent and took pride in his work. Respectful of me and my home. Cleared up and cleaned room at end of each day. Hard working and no distractions. Install took approx 3-and-a-half days as he waited on two spare parts from Hammonds factory. Delighted with the end result. Fit in aesthetically with the overall refurbishment and decoration of my home. Highly recommend Hammonds. They are the best! Now considering further built in wardrobes for top floor studio along with desk and worktop.

Very pleased with the overall work carried out on our wardrobes, we were let down on Start date but luckily the fitters managed to get all work done in just 2 days, amazing finish so happy with end result.

A couple of years ago, or thereabouts, we had Hammonds to fit wardrobes in another property that we have. The work was done to a very high standard, and all the doors etc are functioning perfectly. We therefore had no hesitation in bringing along Hammonds to create a large bookcase in the house in Hayton where we are now living, having moved there in July 2023. Again the work was done to a very high standard and we are absolutely delighted with the results. Hammonds work in a very systematic way, with two visits dealing with measurements, before the fitting actually takes place, so perhaps it's not surprising that they don't have hitches! Originally we went to Hammonds on the recommendation of a friend who was also delighted with the wardrobes they had fitted for him. Hammonds designed, supplied and fitted bedroom furniture - 1 double wardrobe, 1 corner wardrobe, 1 angled shelf cupboard, 2 bedside drawer sets. We are very pleased with both the quality of the furniture and also with the quality of the fitting. The fitter was also very clean and tidy. We did have a slight problem with a small dink in one drawer unit but it was replaced quickly and without any fuss.

We had two fitted wardrobes designed and installed in our main bedroom. The work was done in a matter of a couple of days by an excellent craftsman. He cleaned up after him, and left no mess. The sales woman and designer did an excellent job of maximising the space. All-in-all, we are really pleased with the result. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, but professional. We felt under no pressure to go with the company. We will use the company again when fitting out another bedroom.

We had Hammonds for fitted wardrobes in our main bedroom. The rep who came out was brilliant, very calm and not at all pushy. He measured up and did a computer drawing of the finished product. We tweaked it a little until we were happy. The fitter was also brilliant, very polite and respectful. He involved us in the fitting process and alerted us to a minor issue which we collectively resolved with head office. He cleaned up at the end of the day and left the room immaculate. Very happy with Hammonds and would highly recommend them.

We had some fitted furniture in a dressing room which is adjacent to our main bedroom. We are delighted with the end product. We had a visit from a designer who produced a plan precisely to our liking. It is exactly as we had envisioned and the work was completed in a timely and highly efficient fashion. The fitter was most accommodating & referred to us regularly to ascertain that the work was in line with our expectations. We would have no hesitation or reservation about recommending their services.

Fitted cupboard and desk unit with space and drawers under. We are delighted with the work which is very professional and has completely changed the look and feel of the room.

I had fitted wardrobes, they look fabulous all double hanging giving me maximum space except one for dresses, coats etc. The fitter did a great job he was profesional and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Would recomend this company to friends and family

We had previous experience with Hammonds when they completed a bedroom wardrobe build. The theme continued into our new bedroom, where the we added additional wardrobes and cabinets. They are of high quality and the fitter was very professional in manner and engagement. Fully recommended.

Absolutely love my new bedroom. From start to finish it was a positive experience. We were treated very well by the staff at Hammonds, but above all the bedroom furniture is of a very high quality and we have no complaints at all.
