I have been using Barry for more than 10 years and he's done everything from tiling a hearth, mounting pictures on the wall to putting together furniture. I feel like he's able to complete a wide range of tasks always to a very high standard. He's friendly and also extremely tidy. I've recommended him to a number of my friends and neighbours.

Barry has done a great deal of work for me over the years. I am nearly 82, and he is great at producing solutions to my ever-increasing problems. Apart from my weakening muscles, my sight is deteriorating, so last December he designed and built steps with a banister for me to use when going from one level to another in my sloping garden. He also put a shelf with lighting underneath it, over the hob in my kitchen. Barry is the kindest, most supportive person, and he's also hilariously funny, so he not only makes my life easier practically, but raises my spirits while doing so. Last time I saw him, he was at the front gate, leaving after a day's work here. He suddenly took out an electric screw-driver and proceeded to tighten up the wooden gate, which had been falling apart. He is a treasure, and apart from his honesty, reliability and amazing range of skills, he is a lovely person.

We have used Handy on the Hill for many jobs most recently fixing a shower seal, mending a curtain rail, building a bed and kitchen tiling. His work is extremely high quality and consistent. He is trustworthy, an excellent craftsman having mended doors and Skirting boards for us! I highly recommend his work a gold standard business.

Barry has performed "handy man " jobs for us for many years - hanging paintings, touching up plaster and painting, fixing lights etc. Last year he also completed more substantial work, eg retiling our bathroom. Barry is always on time, tidy and a pleasure to work with. His work is of an excellent quality and he is completely reliable and trustworthy (I have often given him a spare set of keys if we are not in the house). I feel his prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of work performed . I would have no hesitation in recommending Barry.
